Our secluded 40-acre hilltop retreat is located at 2,200 feet in the Cascade foothills near Westfir and Oakridge, Oregon. Accessed via a scenic two-mile gravel road, the property offers panoramic views of Diamond Peak and Devil’s Backbone. On-site, guests can enjoy a one-mile trail for hiking and biking, with easy access to world-class mountain biking, the Willamette River, and local hot springs.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland runs through most of October and the Britt Music Festival in Jacksonville has an open-air music venue with tons of concerts June - September. So many wineries here and check out the waterfalls and hiking trails in the area. Oregon Caves is open May - September. Let us know what adventures you are seeking and we can help you find the ones available in our amazing area... Don't forget about the jetboat rides on the Rogue River May - September which are hugely entertaining and the river and scenery are unforgettable. The Dinner cruise is always a favorite. Hint (Be prepared to get wet).
Elk Haven Ranch consists of 40 acres at the base of a mountain range that is BLM federal land. The Hidden Forest Get-Away campground is spacious and rural where so much wildlife, birds and even an occasional elk herd or family of deer can be seen. This property is a haven for them all, no hunting is allowed.
If you are looking to throw a Frisbee with your dog in a forested and meadow setting, without tons of campers right next to you, then this is your place. Room to roam, fresh air to breathe and clean water available at your site April through September. Easy access to a common electricity plug-in where you can charge your cell phones and air mattresses on the electric pole by the entry gate. A common comment we hear from our campers is how much they love using the open air "hot water on demand" shower - at night - looking up at the stars. It's pretty amazing. The porta potty is kept clean and is privately situated, yet convenient. There's tons of firewood available to purchase for only $5 and a cart with wheels you can use to cart the wood easily to your camp site.
If you are looking to play games, just ask us for the corn hole or horse shoes, or help yourself to the games already out and available.

Welcome to the Outdoor Stay Area at FourLeafs, a small forest campground nestled beneath the tall, mystical firs of the beautiful McKenzie River Valley. Surrounded by fresh mountain air, lush greenery, and the sounds of the forest, the space offers a relaxed balance of outdoor adventure, quiet retreat, and optional connection with fellow travelers.
The campground currently includes three active campsites, each with its own feel. Big Leaf Maple Site is slightly more open and social near the communal fire area, while Pacific Yew Site offers a bit more privacy with close-in parking tucked away from the central gathering space. The Group Site sits farther from the shared fire pit, creating more separation for both groups and neighboring guests.
Flat parking areas and easy site access make FourLeafs especially comfortable for tent campers, car campers, and small van setups.
Guests can enjoy a shared campfire area with rustic log benches, ambient string lighting until 10pm, peaceful forest surroundings, and a swing-out grill over a complimentary wood fire when seasonal conditions allow. During fire restriction periods, a propane fire ring may be available in the evenings depending on current safety regulations. Firewood is provided when wood fires are permitted.
Tent sites are covered with wood chips for a softer and more comfortable night’s rest. Hose water is available, including an insulated drinking-water-safe hose for improved taste and water quality.

We are working cleaning up forest for safety in fire season. Clearing dead and unhealthy trees and brush. Also looking to improving the land and making it healthy for the wild critters and more enjoyable for everyone. We've opened up a bigger space to the creek and going to Make bigger and better ponds and swimming holes. It's much needed.

25 years I’ve been here on this secret land Located in the Willamette Valley. We have tons of wildlife as well as animals here on the land.
We have we have drum circles, sweats, gatherings, group bonfires where you can sit out around the fire and see every star in the sky .
This was a Christmas tree farm years ago, and I have let it go natural. I’ve planted new trees and now we live amongst our own forests .
We are open to RVs and fifth wheels but no plug-ins yet. We’re a work in progress So it’s tent camping for now . Hope you come and visit us
There are Rv and 5th wheel spots but you must be self contained.

We are almost 20 acres of county and forests, about 24 miles NW of Famous Eugene Oregon, And we are nestled in between Fern Ridge reservoir and triangle Lake, headed to the Florance coast. We have 2 year round running creeks and 3 beautiful forests.
We are a work in progress, but we have a year-round working farm. We grow our own food, flowers and animals. We are currently working on a big outdoor kitchen, where we will have pizza ovens, canning facilities and a beautiful place to gather in the woods. Again still a work in progress.
Some spots have fire pits. Again depending on time of year and heat conditions. Because we have so many trees, we have to make sure no fires are to close to any tree's.
Again, please Ask before burning. No random burning unless oked by land owners. Thank you for for helping to keep everyone safe.
We have numerous ponds throughout the property and swimming holes. We turned the 4 stall barn into a music room where we gather and host events. Soon we will have designated Spots, equipped with fire rings. We will have teepees, tree houses, glamping tents. As of now we have room for numerous big groups spots for tent camping. Soon we’ll have plug-ins for RV and fifth wheel travelers.
We have alot of space to camp and still have your privacy.
Currently we have an out house and hose shower and you can also use the potty Under the Star's.
We provide Toilet paper and try to keep stocked but, just ask if outhouses are out of paper.
There are lovely walking trails throughout the property and tranquil sitting areas. We will update our progress as it happens. Hope to see you soon..
Remember to bring your own cooking equipment like grills. There's a cleaning station near shower.
Water is straight from the well and beautiful drinking water.

TOM'S REST was created by Tom's wife Cheryl in an effort to carry out their plans to provide respite for those in need. Tom Edwards worked tirelessly for years to clear this wild recreation space where he planned to live while helping others. Tom suddenly and unexpectedly passed February 2, 2015 while in the process of making his move to Sisters with his High School sweetheart of 45 years. Cheryl continued his passion and their dream to make this a place for those in need as a way to honor the most giving man she ever knew. This process has brought some healing and it is our hope to continue that healing for others in need from life's many trials.
Anyone having a grief, widows/widowers, caregiver, cancer, hospice or other group that would like to have their group listed should message us as well. These respite visits are short getaways to refuel and support individuals during tough times.
Those that come to enjoy Tom's Rest will hopefully gain some needed respite. Most feel they are pretty much 'on their own' in this retreat area with the option for seclusion OR mingling if so desired.
My deepest thanks to all who have stood alongside through this journey and continue to do so. May we collectively create TOM'S REST with Tom's intention and the passion he infused in us to carry it through to fulfillment.

The Blue river flows down the mountain where it meets the McKenzie river and becomes one. This portion of the McKenzie river is more tranquil and calm. Great for fly fishing! In the summertime you can walk out into the river and take a swim if you’re bold! Water temps are around 50°. In September the salmon make their return home to spawn after an arduous journey. If you wake up and hear a lot of splashing you’re in for a real treat as they lay their eggs and battle the ducks away. October brings rain and filtered sunshine, and mushrooms spring up everywhere. Spring, summer, fall, or winter, the McKenzie River is sure to delight with its breathtaking beauty and a bird lovers paradise!

Amazing spot and very reasonable amenities. We tent camped and it was really nice to have toilets, hot showers, and a sink to wash our dishes! You can’t beat the 10-15 minute drive to Toketee and Watson. This area was GORGEOUS!
I loved the inclusivity of the resort and it was great to support a location who cares. We loved this campsite and would recommend to anyone wanting to tent camp, stay in a cabin/glamp, or bring an RV. Keep being awesome Upmqua’s last resort!

This place is incredible!
I booked very last minute, and I showed up after dark, which I would not recommend. That said, they had a fire going for me and the wife even ran out to help me find the campsite. This was a last minute, emotional solo trip for me and it's exactly what I needed. This place is beautiful. They have solar lights everywhere, a porta potty, a hand washing sink, and the views are beautiful. They have put thought into everything. I can't wait for the site that's along the ridge to be ready & open, but I would stay in the one that I was at again in a heartbeat.

This was our second time here and we were so happy we could book it. We were trying to camp in Applegate Valley, but found that almost all of the national forest campgrounds were closed, and Jackson Campground was being run by a very sketchy fellow who demanded cash and gave us very bad vibes. It was almost 10pm and we reached out to Rebecca. We love this spot - lovely grassy spot, big firepit, lots of space and complete privacy. We had a self-check-in and were so happy to be back!

I initially booked site #17, but was asked if I'd be ok taking #4 instead. They said it was an upgrade, I said ok. I can't say what #17 was like, but here is the lowdown on #4: I was renting a camper van for the first, and the site had all the hookups, plus a picnic table and fire pit. It was also next to the bathroom/ laundry facility. The only con was that I got a little less privacy than I was anticipating, but it was nice not to have to walk far if I wanted to take a hot shower at the end of the day. But Dustin at the front was very friendly and helpful, and even offered other sites if #4 wasn't to my liking. He even offered us some homemade banana bread muffins, and helped us out when we forgot our can opener. The overall facility was very accommodating to dogs, offering poo bags, grassy spots, and even a trail to walk your dog. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Rebecca had great instructions on how to get to the property. The site was level and private. The property was awesome and so quiet at night. It was the perfect spot to stop on my way back home. I’ll definitely be going back on future trips.

Angela was very kind and helpful. We had the place to ourselves and felt very safe. Even with the dogs next door she reassured us that their barking would stop and even called the neighbors to ask what was going on. Very relaxing and beautiful location! Wood is available for the fire. It was a great way to start our spring break. Thank you Angela.

This place is beautiful. You can see so many stars at night. It’s the perfect spot to stay to do the Highway of Waterfalls. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Awesome amenities. I did tent camping and the only issue I had was I didn’t realize how close the spots are together (my bad) so it wasn’t as quiet/private as I anticipated. But overall I had a great time and will go back.

A well maintained resort in the middle of Umpqua. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the national park. I can’t wait to go back!
