We had a wonderful time staying at Bill and Nancy’s Hipcamp! While our site was up against the garage and not a traditional scenic campsite that we are used to, the location was excellent and worked well for our stay. The real highlight was the warm hospitality—Bill and Nancy are fantastic hosts who made us feel welcome from the start. Their property is peaceful, and we appreciated the convenience of being close to everything we wanted to explore. It was a great spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the surroundings. If you’re looking for a simple, quiet place with friendly hosts, this is a great option!

We van camped at Bill’s place on a rainy New Year’s Eve and had a lovely time. The property is beautiful and quiet, and Bill was a great host - came out to meet us and show us where everything was. I’m happy to know about this place!

Bill and Nancy were the best hosts! We camped at their property for 2 nights in late December 2025. Bill communicated clearly from the get go and made sure we had all the info we need to find the property and have a comfortable experience. He took extra steps to ensure that we could use their outdoor flushable toilet even during the winter. Bill made sure to check in on us and ensure that we were setup right and comfortable for the winter camping experience. He also provided us with plenty of firewood to make sure that we were warm and comfortable for the whole stay. Thanks to Bill and Nancy’s hospitality, we had an awesome first winter camping trip. We highly recommended this place and look forward to coming back in the future!

Ian's place was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything, but felt pretty private considering it was next to the house. They had electricity which was a plus. It was very easy to communicate with Ian. The place was easy to find and set up. Would definitely use them next trip to Pittsburgh.

This is our 4th trip and most crowded. There wad a group of 10 people tent camping just 100 yards up the hill from us and another RV over by the main house but it was so spread out that we just did things like we did the last 3 times. I.E. played frisbee with the dog lol

Awesome property! My doggies loved it! Bill and his brother were very welcoming and informative. Their family land is beautiful and if you plan to have a fire, be sure to get the firewood onsite from them. They have plenty. Great stay! We will be back! Thanks Bill and Nancy! We hope to meet Nance too, next time.

The toilet is not available in late fall and winter due to freezing temperatures. It's pretty dark here. There are no large cities anywhere around here. My family moved here in 1957 and I purchased it from my father in 1975. My wife is responsible for much of the landscaping and home improvements that have been done since 1990. First developed in 1968, Memory Park offers peace, quiet, and tranquility for you and your family for that perfect weekday or weekend getaway . There are plenty of primitive sites to choose from, including Murphy Meadow, Outback Bend, Honeymoon Point, and Shady Rest, just to name a few. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit. Firewood is available ($10 through hipcamp or cash on-site per full wheelbarrow load). Memory Park is the ideal rustic environment to restore the soul, including simple activities like sitting around a fire, reading or taking a nap, hiking, cooking over the fire, observing nature, and enjoying fellowship with friends. Memory Park can be your 'go to' camp spot, especially for Buckeye Trail hikers! Water is available from two hand pumps on the property. Electricity is not available. Quiet generators are welcome. A clean port-a-jon is maintained for our campers.
