The peaceful 20-acre country farm has food gardens, a frog habitat pool, a barnyard for the chickens & ducks, a bluegill fishin' pond, a pollinator maze, a prairie garden, and an outdoor stage. After crossing a winding creek into 10 acres of woods, you may see deer, turkey, fox, coyote, mink, eagles & barred owls.
In early spring, the peepers are peeping, wildflowers are abundant & the vernal pools welcome the wood frogs, salamanders and fairy shrimp. Summer brings on the bullfrogs, butterflies, dragonflies and fireflies. Fall is a great time to pull grapevine to make wreaths & to build stick forts in the woods.
We cater to the tent camper so that we can hear frogs & owls instead of generators. But, there is an RV section up front for those with quiet generators with several feet of gravel under the grass to hold the weight of your camper.
We charge by the carload & there are different rates for driving back toward the woods for camping depending on the number of wheels & the weight of your vehicle (a factor on the wear & tear on the land). We believe in going outside to play, growing & eating fresh food, strengthening family bonds and promoting the awareness of our natural resources.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 1) The speed limit is 5 mph as soon as you enter the property (kids & dogs are quick to dart in front of you). 2) As a state registered campground, it is mandatory that you check in at the house to fill out a Registration Form before heading to your campsite. 3) No glass allowed anywhere on the property (we don't want our feet or paws cut open and can do without flat tires). 4) Children under 18 must be attended to at all times for their safety (the frog pool is 10' deep, the pond is 8-10' deep depending on rains, and the creek can turn into a churning river).

Several sites available on an organic blueberry farm near Oberlin College and Lake Erie. Blueberries are ripe in July. Site #2 is down by the Chance Creek, about 1/2 mile from the driveway. Very peaceful down there - a walk-in site. Site #1 is about 100 yards from the driveway, Site #1 also has access to a small shed. Both sites are woodsy and away from neighbors, roads and houses, however the interstate is not far. When the wind blows from the north you can barely hear it, but when a south wind blows and/or there is rain on the interstate, it can be pretty loud. We don't have a latrine. We have two "luggable-loo's" if you need them, have liners, too.

Great spot, would definitely stay here again! Even with multiple sites across the farm, it felt plenty private and quiet. Having a bathroom with running water while camping is always super clutch. It’s remote enough to feel unplugged, while being a quick drive to town. The lake is gorgeous and perfect for swimming. While we originally booked this campsite as a place to crash while going to a nearby music festival, it was so serene we actually decided to skip the last day of the festival to lounge by the lake. Pro tip: swim by the silver dock by the house, not the red raft and for the coffee drinkers - check out Pump and Grind in town.

Super helpful hosts! Family friendly place with goats to visit. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs there is train noise and light road noise. My campsite was number one right on the water and had some shade in afternoon. Porta potty and garbage provided to share with campsite two. It was semi-private. Campsite two was in the same field as campsite one. Thanks again for sharing your land!

We had an amazing time at the Land. Damyan was really kind and helpful. He drove our group up 2 miles from our campsite for us to float down the river. The property is beautiful. Lots of tree coverage, a really nice view of the river, and this part of Ohio has got actual elevation. Seeing the hills in the distance was also a nice touch. Highly recommend this.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bryan’s campground. The land is beautiful, secluded but still a quick drive to local attractions. Bryan and Amanda were extremely kind, helpful, and answered any questions. The train is close but we were able to sleep through the noise of it. I would highly recommend and we will be coming back!

Theeeeeeee best Hipcamp I've been to so far! Wonderful hosts, clean and unique property perfect for families. The owners have made an amazing interactive play place allowing families to create a unique and memorable experience. Friendly farm animals wait to greet you, a communal kitchen that's kept very clean and a big fire area.
The hosts even gifted me some of the bounty of their farm! I can't wait to see all of the fun and amazing things that get added to the park!

This was a super beautiful area and there were other people camping at sites here but it was all respectful and quiet. The outdoor shower was awesome. Damyan and his son showed us how to get to the site when we arrived which was very nice since we arrived after sundown. My friend and I camped here while bikepacking the Ohio To Erie Trail; I honestly don’t know if I can recommend this to others doing that, only because it was difficult to get to by bike unless you’re an experienced mountain biker with weight on the bike, because the roads are gravel and it’s super hilly. If you do this, then definitely come from brinkhaven going north on brinkhaven rd. Anyways, coming by car is no trouble and I can highly recommend this Hipcamp for those trips. Super special place.

We want to start by thanking our host for sharing a piece of their beautiful homestead with us. We truly enjoyed the peaceful setting, spending time fishing the ponds, and, in the evenings, listening for and searching out the huge bullfrogs.
