We have a beautiful 20 acre lake. It's 60 ft deep with crystal clear water and is great for swimming and fishing. Kayaking welcome too. We also have a couple other ponds available for fishing as well. We raise fresh water prawn and bluegill in the summertime, so late september we have fresh shrimp available. Lots of waterfowl and deer here to see.

Backwoods Camping

Purchased in 2019, these overgrown acres are now a federally registered Farm with the crop being Trees, and have a 10 year Woodland Stewardship Management Plan with the Ohio Dept of Natural Resources. I  will be working hard over the years to bring this back to a healthy stand of mixed hardwoods, full of wildlife habitat.Learn more about this land:Enjoy approximately 10 wooded acres while being the only campers on site.  
Provided are a 4x8 lean-to, outhouse, fire ring, and a spool table.
Hiking trails are cut throughout the woods, so feel free to explore. Just stay within the wire fence lines to avoid crossing onto neighboring private lands.
This is a Federal and State managed Woodland, so please do no harm to any living tree or plant. Feel free to pick up any dead wood for use in the fire ring. (Cut Firewood also provided for free at campsite.)

You do have to hike in and out between parking area and campsite. The access is on a slope, so you will get your cardio. It's about 500 feet from parking to campsite.

Our camp spots are very easy to drive right up to.  They are overlooking a  small bit of woods. Wake up in the morning to birds chirping.  The area has a large clearing for children to play. but the privacy you need to enjoy a nice evening around the campfire.  There is a pond for fishing, and a nice deck that is avaliable to use. There is 25 acres here and you are welcome to use it for your enjoyment. We do have fencing to keep our horses in so please we ask to not climb over the fences as they will shock you as they are electric. You will see chickens goats, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats on our hobby farm.  The wildlife you may see include squirrels, deer and racoons fox etc.  Located 2 miles from interstate 70 for easy access. NewConcord is just 3 1/2 miles down the road and is the home town of John Glenn you can visit his home place there, or pick up grocerys.  Cambridge is the next town away at 8 miles and you can go shopping there,  We are also near the Wilds, Blue Rock State Park, and Jesse Owens State park.  Hope to see you soon!

The log cabin where the outdoor shower is located at the lower lever.  You are welcome to fish, or just hang out by the pond.  There is also corn hole boards if you like to play.
