This tiny (about 150 sq feet) eco cabin is nestled in the hills and hollows of Meigs County Ohio on 6.6 secluded acres of mostly wooded land on a private, dead end gravel lane. A superb place to bird watch, identify native plants and trees, and stargaze as the cabin is located in one of the darkest places in Ohio. Also on the property is a 16x20 camping/activities platform for your enjoyment. Our doors opened in September 2020 with the intention of creating a simple, yet functional and secluded space for individuals, couples, and groups to come together and enjoy the serenity of nature's beauty. We are one of Ohio's only openly clothing optional and naturist friendly rentals. You of course do not have to be naked during your visit, but it is a safe place to explore the naturist lifestyle if you've ever been curious! We're located about 25 minutes south of Athens, Ohio and are within 30 minutes of some of the best hiking in the state. There is no outdoor lighting, so if you plan to arrive after dark, bring a bright flashlight or head lamp as you will not be able to see anything. The cabin is stocked with spices, teas, coffees, hot chocolate, and all you need to cook meals. There is a microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, and propane grill. Please DO NOT flush toilet paper. *Please Read Entire Listing Details* We want to set your expectations for the best stay! Welcome to our Lakewood Cabin. We built this Cabin as Eco-Friendly as possible, you will notice during your stay the repurposed items throughout. We're a social-good duo that likes to giveback. Whats the perks? In short we offer: Hot Tub, Propane Grill, Fire pit overlooking lake w/ seating, Corn hole, Roku TV, Game System, Board Games, Full kitchen w/ utensils, Bathroom items, Covered porch w/ seating. The space Our cabin was designed best for 2 people, however we can accommodate 4 people. Queen bed sleeps 2, and Futon sleeps 2 snug. Cabin is smaller (290 sq ft) with a open floor plan (again designed best for 2). Yes the pictures make the space look like a mansion, but we ensure you it's just wide angle photos to capture the most space per image. Note: Cabin is located in a residential neighborhood, there are no neighbors directly next to the cabin, but at the bottom of the hill. Neighbors are quite and stay to themselves. ***There is no access to the lake. It is not apart of the property. The hot tub area is fenced in with repurposed pallets (as seen in photos) they provide the perfect amount of privacy from neighboring properties. We have tested the view from all angles, you are good to soak nude without anyone seeing you, if you choose. That's a promise. We provide cooking utensils (pots, pans and spices) as well as shower supplies (body wash, shampoo and conditioner). Our location is settled in nicely, get the remote feeling, without being super remote. Distance from destination points: * Camp Landing Entertainment District - 15 mins * Tri State Airport - 15 mins * Rush Off Road Park - 15 mins * Grayson Lake - 35 mins * Greenbo Lake - 40 mins * Yatesville Lake - 40 mins * Cave Run Lake - 1.5 hr We are also within delivery area for food partners / Walmart delivery if you prefer to stay in.
