We started the campground in 2016 after friends of the family pitched their tents down along the creek. They shared their enjoyment with us, and we realized how much we enjoyed knowing they were down there camping. We both have a great appreciation for God's creation and decided to open our gates to you. Lynn is a true Blue Ridge native and we both hope you enjoy the proximity to our towns, the mountains, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. The local apple orchards are also amazing! Sleep under the stars while listening to the river run while staying on a working farm! During the summer months watch our vegetables grow and the pickers pick! The winter months you'll enjoy a sea of green as our cover crop takes over the field.
You can cool off in the river or check out the surrounding Pisgah National Forest. Dogs on leashes are welcome and owner is responsible for cleaning up after pet.
The farm provides a portable toilet but no other amenities. Campfires may be restricted, so check local regulations. This is a working farm, so please be respectful of the crops and workers and keep dogs on leashes. Fishing is NOT allowed on the river unless you have booked a trip with one of our guides. Please note, if it’s rainy the roads will be muddy and 4-wheel-drive vehicles are the best option.
Head 4 miles east to the town of Mills River for restaurants, stores, and services. You can find hiking, biking, and horseback-riding trails within a short bike or car ride in Pisgah National Forest. Chimney Rock State Park is 25 miles east and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountain scenery. Or perhaps go for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The views are hypnotic, looking down and out over the continental divide. Good morning, and sunsets can be seen from the same spot. Your car is parked within feet of your deck, so Car Campers and experienced campers can enjoy. Designed with campers and dogs in mind. The deck is large (384 square feet) with a tin roof. Some roofs are full size, some are two-thirds, and some are one-third, depending on what one wants for tent size or sun exposure. Dogs enjoy a two-gate system, allowing guests and dogs be leash-free and away from the road. All dog owners know to pick up after their pets. Lights and electrical outlets are 110V (3 prongs) for YOUR coffee pots, electric grills, mattress inflators, crockpots, electric blankets, fans, et I do not provide any electrical appliances, other than counter area lighting and low-level string lights, so one can see the night sky Many of my campers will "Pay it Forward" and leave coffee pots, hot plates, fans and such, so count yourself lucky to find a deck with them. I provide chairs, 5 gallons of fresh water in containers, a fickle solar shower, and a pop-up changing room, along with an assortment of camping supplies from dog bowls to antimicrobial. I provide various-size garbage bags to manage your garbage. Your parking area is next to the deck. The conveniences of electricity, porta john, water, chairs, table, roof, cleaning supplies, rain curtains, and astounding views have my Glampers coming back often. Designed with Dogs in mind with a two-gate system and no need for a leash when on the deck. Obnoxious, barking dogs are not welcome, so bring only controlled and well-socialized dogs. 11 mi- Upper Dill Falls & Lower Dill Falls. 50 ft. Waterfall (lower) with just a short easy hike. Upper Dill falls is beautiful and tucked into a lush cove.

This no ordinary campground. Pause is an adventure that will feel like you are exploring your own private mountain nature reserve. Aramesh is 120 acres of Blue Ridge heaven with something for every wilderness adventure seeker: unmatched mountain views, lush old growth forests, babbling brooks, and miles of trails for all skill levels. The property starts at 3700 ft altitude, with summit at 4500 ft on the Glades mountain ridge. IMPORTANT: 4WD or AWD is required to access our property. There is a sometimes steep and windy gravel road into Pause. Please make sure your vehicle has 4WD or AWD before you book.
Campsites: They are 3/4-1/4 mile from the entrance. Some are accessible by 4WD. There may be some vigorous hiking involved, but the views are worth it. The pads are various sizes. Let us know what the needs of your party are and we can help you choose from the available spots. We also have several more remote “off-menu” sites for those seeking a backpacking adventure - ask for more information if your are interested.
Hiking: There are several miles of trails on the property. They range from an easy slope to very strenuous. The entire property is fenced so you won't easily get lost. Your climbing efforts will be amply rewarded by stunning views, especially at sunset. Trail maps are available upon request.
On-Site Amenities: we provide a clean porta-potty and running water that is spring fed. We ask that you follow "Leave-No-Trace" procedures during your stay.
Off-Site Amenities: If you choose to explore the area : we are a 10 minute drive from I-40 Exit 24. Asheville is 45 minutes away; Waynesville is 25 minutes away. Presnell's Grocery (highly recommended, family-owned store that sells locally farmed products) is 10 minutes away from the property entrance. The Ingles supermarket in Canton is a 15 minute drive. You will find every kind of fast food in that area. There are also several excellent local dining options in Canton, Clyde, and Waynesville which we are happy to recommend to you by request.

This is a working farm, so please be respectful of the crops and workers and keep dogs on leashes. Fishing is NOT allowed on the river unless you have booked a trip with one of our guides. Please note, if it’s rainy the roads will be muddy and 4-wheel-drive vehicles are the best option.
Head 4 miles east to the town of Mills River for restaurants, stores, and services. You can find hiking, biking, and horseback-riding trails within a short bike or car ride in Pisgah National Forest. Chimney Rock State Park is 25 miles east and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountain scenery. Or perhaps go for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This no ordinary campground. Pause is an adventure that will feel like you are exploring your own private mountain nature reserve. Aramesh is 120 acres of Blue Ridge heaven with something for every wilderness adventure seeker: unmatched mountain views, lush old growth forests, babbling brooks, and miles of trails for all skill levels. The property starts at 3700 ft altitude, with summit at 4500 ft on the Glades mountain ridge. Hiking: There are several miles of trails on the property. They range from an easy slope to very strenuous. The entire property is fenced so you won't easily get lost. Your climbing efforts will be amply rewarded by stunning views, especially at sunset. Trail maps are available upon request.
On-Site Amenities: we provide a clean porta-potty and running water that is spring fed. We ask that you follow "Leave-No-Trace" procedures during your stay.
Off-Site Amenities: If you choose to explore the area : we are a 10 minute drive from I-40 Exit 24. Asheville is 45 minutes away; Waynesville is 25 minutes away. Presnell's Grocery (highly recommended, family-owned store that sells locally farmed products) is 10 minutes away from the property entrance. The Ingles supermarket in Canton is a 15 minute drive. You will find every kind of fast food in that area. There are also several excellent local dining options in Canton, Clyde, and Waynesville which we are happy to recommend to you by request.

We loved the spa it was worth the money to relax there after a long days hike. I feel like being able to add on 30 minute increments should be an option also. As opposed to purchasing by the hour. We felt we needed just a little extra time there. The hot shower included with the spa also would not work for us which was disappointing considering this was most of the reason we originally chose to purchase the spa add on. We then tried to shower at the free shower near by but it was just too cold for us despite being heated. “Hot” shower was a stretch there it was warm at best. But overall, enjoyed it. The heater in the tents kept us warm even when the temp dropped to 32 for a night. The privacy at mtg 3 was awesome and loved hearing the church bells across the hills. If you plan to charge your phone make sure to bring a usb Compatible chord.

Great spot not to far off route 25 but far enough you don’t hear the road. I personally Car camped and camp site 1 was perfect because you get your own parking area. Pup friendly! The host was super helpful with suggestions in the area. If you are traveling with a pup make sure to stop at the Carl Sandburg NPS site for a Bark ranger Badge! It’s less than 20 mins away and a great place to walk your pup! Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the Flat Rock area!

The sites were well maintained and clean! Site 1 offered good space with great access to the bathroom, showers, etc. while providing privacy at the same time.
The location of the grounds offered great views of both the sunrise and sunsets, the common area has the best sunset mountain view while relaxing in the hammock and also offers a great stargazing spot.
We had a great time camping here and will be back.

My wife and I enjoyed this place alot. If better if you have kids. The out house was a bonus for us. There's a little playhouse for children and a lot of walking trails. Nice flat surface to pitch your tent. Huge fire pit. "A little to big for me" kind of secluded. There was traffic noise Friday night. Saturday night was alot better. Didn't hear anything at night. Maggie was easy to contact and on top of it. Close to travelers rest and Greenville so you have access to anything you could want or need. Thank you Maggie for allowing us to stay on your property. It's beautiful and peaceful.

What a fantastic spot Beth provides. After a long day of travel and mountain biking Beth’s directions were spot on. I pulled and settled in for a quiet evening and a great nights sleep. peaceful, and easy to find. We loved out little winter escape to the A-frame. We brought in our own water so we didnt have to filter. The toilets are great! Everything is so well keep up.
