Weekend Trip to Secluded Creek Front Tiny A-Frame

Me and my husband needed a get away and Dennis property was exactly what we needed, we were tucked in greenery with a beautiful sounding river. My doggy loved splashing in the river and sniffing around the area, river was nice and cool too, definitely will be coming back.

This studio was the perfect base camp for top notch day hiking. Grandfather Mtn, Linville gorge and the blue ridge parkway are within 20 mins away. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cute. I loved sleeping with the windows up to get the nice cool mountain air. Jennifer is such a kind host and had everything I needed and more. Five stars.

2 nights at Smoky Mountain Sky Camp - Cosby

Brenna did such an awesome job making our group feel right at home in the woods. A perfect balance of rustic comforts, VERY comfortable beds, and being deep woods. The property is set up as good if not better than a national park, way more cozy, without the traffic, all the campsite amenities you could hope for and very clear helpful instructions from Brenna, she doesn’t leave you guessing at all, and can feel comfortable and confident in respecting their space. We stayed with two couples in a treehouse and had an awesome time. Cooked lots of food (brought our own cast iron pot for larger meals) and bring plenty extra water if there’s more than two of you. Five gallons goes quick if you are making coffee, cooking, and hiking. The trails on property were also so amazing, perfect for stretching our legs out after a late arrival being stuck in accident riddled interstate traffic. I immediately had my shoes off to enjoy the cushy moss bedded trails of the forest floor. These folks are awesome! Their property truly shows their passion for nature. I live off grid jungle in Kauai and already dream of coming back. I know my brother in Nashville will be there again sooner than I.

Great site! PERFECT location, just miles from Asheville without the congestion, and easy access to state parks, blue ridge parkway, and any other attraction you're visiting the area for! The site is clean and beautiful with relative privacy, but at site 3 you'll have a close neighbor. I highly recommend this place. Louedith has been great.

We camped in Blair's safari tent. What a luxurious treat. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the big deck. My toddler grandson and I had a blast. He loved playing in the creek. The creek twists and turns through Blair's property; it's beautifully restored after Hurricane Helene. There's plenty of space between most campsites. Directions for driving and entering the campground were easy.

The campsite “Buckeye Bank” was absolutely gorgeous. The grounds were very well kept, and the cleanliness of the porta potties was a very nice added bonus. The site was secluded, but easy to find. Communication with the host was quick and extremely helpful. Blair was a huge help in helping me pick the appropriate size campsite for our group and vehicles. I would love to camp here again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Linville area.

Love the site! We decided to go last minute and it was super easy and quick to reserve and pay. The indications on how to get there easy to follow. The site was clean and spacious. Just far enough from the next site to have privacy. Our dog loved to play in the creek (us too, we even did a cold “plunge” sitting with water to our armpits). Porta Potty were super clean. Definately recommand!

We loved our experience at Blair’s campground! Campsites weren’t super close to each other which was nice, it made us feel like we were alone in the woods. We stayed in the brand new safari tent, and it was very comfortable. Nice handmade furniture and the mattress that was very comfortable. The deck/porch was the star of the show, that’s where we hang out most of the time. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Fantastic site at a fantastic campground. Blair has thoughtfully carved out some wonderful sites on his property. Very private and isolated from each other! Our site was right on the creek. There was clearly some storm damage but things are cleaned up and in lovely shape. We had a teardrop so didn't use the tent pads but I couldn't help remarking about how great they were! Very level! Getting across the creek was fine but will say the photo doesn't portray the incline into/up out of the creek. It's a decent grade you want to be prepared for. We did it pulling a teardrop so it's doable! Communication was great. We'll be back in the fall!

We had an awesome stay! Louedith was such a sweetheart, and was very accommodating when the booking site gave us issues. Clean and quiet area. Clean port-a-potty for the site. Water was available, as well as trash disposal. There was a deck at our site, and an adorable barn down the road with games inside, and the mountain views were excellent. Also allowed pets so that was a plus. Price was definitely nice as well. Would definitely stay again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The stay was amazing! The cabin was the perfect size for us and the dogs! The weather was absolutely beautiful which allows us to go hiking at some nearby trails. The cabin was equipped with anything we could have needed and more. We loved the hot tub and fire pit and were able to see the stars from each spot. Definitely will be booking a stay in the Fall. Kevin the host was super nice and accommodating, got to chat with him on our last day before we left. Looking forward to our next stay!!

What a beautiful setup Kevin has out there! The bungalow was super comfortable and what a decadent treat having a personal hot tub! It was spotless, stocked with everything needed, and it was such a pleasure speaking to Kevin. Clearly a top notch human being. Couldn’t have been happier and would stay again in an instant.

My husband and I just stayed here. This spot was great! Very well thought out. From providing coffee, basic toiletries, even a collagen face mask! We had all the basics we needed to cook food. Breakfast was on their electric griddle, dinner was cooked over the fire on their campfire grill. They also have a counter top toaster oven with lots of features but we didn't use it. Lots of plants to identify, forage. Cleared path to walk to the top of the mountain. The hot tub was awesome, the deck was where we hungout the most, and the firepit was great (comfy chairs too!) The privacy, ease of check in and check out and all the great touches made this a great spot for us. Cell reception is good. Internet good. We will be back!

It was a pretty good stay.. our kids enjoyed it very much. Not a great spot if you are looking to fish. But for peace and quiet it was great. We enjoyed the hilltop clamping tent. There is plenty of wood to gather for the fire pit.

This immaculate small cabin near Asheville is ready to treat you to a luxurious retreat experience. We are located only 15 minutes from Asheville and a few miles from the parkway, surrounded by 14 acres of forest. There is a private hot tub that is all yours! Sauna available upon request. Professional massage therapist onsite as well. The house is hand crafted with unique creative touches for your delight. We look forward to having you! This home was built in 2019 by an expert craftsman with the vision of making it cozy and spacious with sweet artistic details and lots of care and love. The home is 300 sq feet but feels much more grand inside. You will be nestled on 14 pristine acres of forest, with two decks, your own personal private hot tub, and a spring fed creek not too far down the driveway. There is a gas fireplace outdoors on the porch, and an outdoor fire pit for your use as well. The house has a queen size bed in the upper loft, a large twin day bed on the first level, and an extra loft with camping mats if needed above the day bed. The house can comfortably sleep 3 and up to 4 or 5 especially if a couple of them are children or petite people. The house has a full kitchen and bathroom, living room area and two lofts. For now there is a composting toilet that is easy to maintain and we are happy to help you with it if you’re on the land for more than a few days. The main house is about 30 yards up the hill, and although somewhat close, you will have plenty of privacy. We are close if you need us, but we try to give all of our guests ultimate privacy. The house is under a huge magnolia tree, so it stays shaded in the summer and quite cool. There is an AC unit and heaters in the house as well. There is a personal hot tub, which is screened in, and located on the front deck of the house now. You will love it! There is a back deck that is only for meditation, yoga, and bird watching, and we ask that folks stay silent on the back deck if they use it. Pets are welcome at an extra charge of $40 a night. If anything is needed down at the house we are available. Much of the time there is a massage therapist on site, so if you are interested in getting Bodywork please just inquire about prices and availability. There is also a wood-fired sauna on the property, so if you would like to sauna please let us know. And an added bonus is that you are only 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and LOTS of great hiking, great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries and more. Asheville is 15 minutes from the tiny cabin and Weaverville is 10 minutes away. On any given day you might see a family a deer, turkeys or bears in the front yard. There is a spring fed creek on the edge of the property you are welcome to soak your feet in, and there is incredible hiking just a few miles away. You are welcome to explore the 13 acres of property as well that the home is located on. This is not a place for parties. Our neighbors are about 200 yards down the hill so we try to respect their privacy and keep it quiet. That is why we have made the back deck a retreat/silent deck. Maximum of 4 guests.
