The space Guest have access to the entire basement floor and back yard inside the fence. The double doors below the deck have a keyless entry code. Feel free to step in, settle in, and embrace everything New Hill and its surroundings have in store for you. We are excited to be your hosts and can't wait for your stay! The space is peaceful, relaxing, and outdoorsy. The basement is quite large and has everything you need. Enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of sweet tea in the rocking chairs on the patio or have an outdoor meal on the picnic table, as well as kick back for some afternoon relaxation time in the hammock. There is plenty of backyard space to toss a football or play cornhole. To ensure a hassle-free and cozy stay, we've got you covered with fresh sheets, pillows, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, creamer, and spices along with essential supplies like toilet paper and paper towels. Your comfort is our priority—we've thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing as can be! Guests have access to the private yard inside the fence and access to the basement through a separate entrance down below the deck. Other things to note We have three young children (Ages 4, 6, and 8) that you may see outside or hear upstairs walking around. They are typically up by 7 am and in bed by 8 pm but are gone most of the day at school (unless it’s summer) and play outside often. We also have one black cat named Smokey who is very friendly and loves to socialize. If you’re not a fan of kids or pets then this may not be the space for you. Nightly rates vary based on specific dates. Weekends are priced higher. Discounts are automatically available closer to the arrival date. Single-night stays are automatically made available when those are the only remaining nights. Otherwise, a two-night minimum is required.

Please note that a $49 CLEANING FEE is added to each booking. Hi there! The Cozy Heron is an 𝙞𝙣-𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙣, riverside glamping resort. Noises of traffic from nearby highway is audible. Each wagon is equipped with calming sound machines that also double as bluetooth speakers to assist guests who may be bothered by sounds of nearby traffic. We currently have five covered wagons and one bath house. The property offers a community stone patio, firepit, grilling area, and large expansive lawn. The upper Cape Fear River flows below the property and Adirondack chairs and a few hammocks are conveniently located around the wagons and entire property for relaxation and pretty views! The Cozy Heron property shares borders a very popular river outfitter (Cape Fear River Adventures in Lillington, NC). Cape Fear River Adventures offers paddling classes, summer day camp, canoe/kayak/SUP rentals, and river tubing. Just a quick 2 minute walk from your covered wagon will also bring you to an on-site restaurant and bar: The Riverside Restaurant & Bar. The Riverside has a full bar, delicious, stone-fired pizza, smashed burgers, fresh salads and sandwiches, and more! They may also have live music performances throughout the spring and summer months. Raven Rock State Park is just a 15 minute drive away. Surrounding towns like Fuquay-Varina, Angier, and Holly Springs offer more shops and restaurants if Lillington doesn't have enough for you! Raleigh and all of its nightlife, museums, and markets is just 45 minutes away from The Cozy Heron Glamping.

I purchased a 1960's ranch home and 4 acres over 5 years ago.  I turned the home into The Fab 4 House, furnishing it with authentic Mid-century Modern furniture and naming each bedroom for 1 of the Beatles.  I rent it out and it is great for events.  However, I needed 1 bedroom accommodations so I purchased 3- 8'x40' shipping containers and turned them into tiny homes.  You can rent 1 or all 3.  The courtyard in the middle features a Tiki Bar, Beach Scene, Putting Green.  I want people to enjoy the in and outside together.

The wagons were so nice and conveniently located right near the restaurant and water. The beds were super comfy, and the room was so cozy. The AC worked perfectly keeping the place cool. The gas black stone grill was a nice surprise!! The staff kept the bath houses fully stocked with towels and other essentials. And the restaurant next door was a huge hit. The staff was lovely and very accommodating for our large crew of 17 for lunches and dinners. We will definitely be back!! We had the best time!

We so enjoyed our stay on Wes’s property! Between us we had four kids ages 5 and under and they had so much to entertain themselves. We loved hanging out under the huge oak tree, using the tree swing, visiting the animals (especially the baby pigs!), and going for walks. Wes was easy to get ahold of and we had everything we needed!

The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. Located just a few minutes from Saxapahaw Village, it's a convenient and gorgeous place to stay. While we are happy to be a late-night crash spot for after shows at the Haw River Ballroom, we hope you stay a minute to walk the fields, hang in the hammocks, sit by the pond, or take a swing from the branches of our 200 year old White Oak tree. You'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. In front of the barn is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a fire pit, chairs, wood-fired grill, handwashing station, and farm table. The shared outhouse/composting toilet is next to the pine stand with a white roof. Please note, this farm stay is an agritourism activity subject to the limit of liabilities as described in N.C.G.S § 99E‑32(b). We have sheep and pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. You are welcome to look but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats. Pork and lamb from the farm is available for purchase, as well as kiln-dried firewood. Nearby activities: Entertainment: Catch big acts at the nearby Haw River Ballroom venue or enjoy free live music at Saturdays in Saxapahaw. Shop vintage, records, VHS and more at Saxy-a-Go-Go. Support local artists at the Riverside Collective. Eats/Drinks: Cup 22 Coffee House and The Eddy Pub overlook the river. Haw River Farmhouse Ales, and the Saxapahaw General Store.
