There are plenty of level areas covered in lush grass and surrounded by trees as old as dirt! The Honeymoon Sweet provides an indoor experience. It was built by my Uncle Frank who cut the wood off the land and milled it into the lumber he needed to make this unique, rustic space. There is a rock fire pit with lots of easily accessible firewood. The treehouse was gorgeous, and the land is clearly loved and well-tended. Christine and Ken were so very kind and responsive. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with essentials. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you for a great weekend.

We LOVED this site! We knew the weekend was going to be rainy but still wanted a quick getaway. The camper was perfect! No taking down a tent in the rain or setting it back up to dry off when we got home. They had everything we needed. All we had to take were sheets, a blanket and our pillows.
The site was secluded. We could hear owls, crickets and frogs. The fire pit with a cooking grate was all we needed. There were extra chairs, a tiki torch with bug repellent, a table and a toilet. The beds were SUPER comfy and there was plenty of room for us and our kids. The creek was crystal clear and the boys loved catching crawdads and looking for fish. When it rained, we played cards under the shelter.
Salem was responsive and delivered firewood to our site and had everything ready and waiting for us.
We will definitely be back! So glad we found this place and it was available for our last minute trip. This was so much easier on us than our usual camping trips. It really is the best of both worlds!

Absolutely loved our stay at RiverNest - we did not want to leave! Had everything we needed and Christine even made us some blackberry cobbler with their fresh berries (thanks again!). The view was beautiful and sitting on the deck was my favorite part - very peaceful and relaxing. Our two dogs enjoyed their stay as well; they loved watching birds/critters from the deck and all the nature trails to explore. It really was perfect - no complaints whatsoever; we'd gladly stay again! (:

Weekend Trip to Tails and Trails
The place was well maintained and was very comfortable. Bring a wagon, but getting gear from car to tent is worth the short, semi-hilly hike down the trail. Jeremy was a fantastic host and was great with communication. Our dog also really loved it there! Very relaxing and peaceful, although we could hear fireworks both nights from the race track. Our dog doesn't care or react to the sound of fireworks, but some may so wanted to add that.

Weekend Trip to Basecamp_outdoors
I brought my friend for his first glamping experience to Basecamp_outdoors and it couldn’t have been better!
There is every amenity here to make you feel at home. A full kitchen, hot shower, clean beautiful spacious tent with no bugs, a comfortable bed, a covered kitchen, an out house, a porch and a covered eating area. Plus lighting and heating and cooling.
Everything is an easy unload from where you park your cars.
Plus, there is an additional area down the path where there is a fire platform. Because it was hot, we skipped the fire and used it more as an extra patio and outdoor room.
We spent a lot of time there immersed in the beauty of the forest and sky and listening to the birds and music.
The main site is located nearer to the road and we hung a couple of tapestries in the lower eating area for a little extra privacy.
The host was very thorough in giving us directions and sending a video to show us how to turn on and use everything.
He also checked on us via text through the app to make sure we had everything we needed.
It was easily accessible and there is plenty to do in the area as far as hiking and water features.
If you’re considering this place, you should book it, I can’t imagine being able to find one better!

Beautiful setting. On their farm. The two story rental had a lovely view of the (Yadkin) river. The scene was serene and peaceful. The lower level opens to the deck with garage style doors that really made the space feel bigger and brought the nature indoors. We would definitely go back.
