Retreat to our cozy yurt and relax by the wood fire. This enchanting yurt is very special to us! Previous friends and guests have exclaimed how romantic it is. It has electricity, a tiny refrigerator, wood stove and a comfy bed. The composting toilet is available outside. To get to the yurt 4WD recommended, ice and rain can greatly affect the roads. There is a parking spot available to park across from Deer Road. Take the very short walk to the yurt. Near our site is Green Mountain National Forest to explore. Blueberry Lake is just a short walk down our hill. Blueberry Lake is widely used year round for swimming, ice fishing, seasonal fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Long Trail nearby Bike trails/x country ski trails are connected right to our homestead. Continue on the trail and access some of the best mountain biking trails and snow biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. Sugarbush Resort is a 10 minute drive and is one of the best ski mountains in the area! If you are looking for gym and shower facilities, you can stop into the Sugarbush Resort, just a short driving distance, for a day pass fee. Massages are available as a add on during booking! This property is part of an original hundred acre woods in the Adirondack Park overlooking Lincoln Pond. My grandfather moved an old ice house under the property in 1943 and built the existing camp in 1949. Her family lives in Florida and has continued to maintain and improve the old camp for the last 40 years. After having done selective logging two years ago we discovered a spot in the back of the property overlooking the pond and with the removal of a couple of trees have a beautiful view of Lincoln Pond. The deck with the Yurt is the beginning of an eventual cabin. I live in the main house from late May until late October and decided to share it with like minded nature loving folks. We've been farming here for 22 years, growing 5 acres of vegetables and flowers, all marketed within 50 miles of the farm. Weekend Trip to cozy yurt in the woods

Went for a women’s trip, 4 of us. Normally we remote camp but wanted something easier. It’s glamping and was nice to have an indoor space for sleeping and one for cooking. The land is beautiful. Jill even let us use a shower in her barn as the solar shower wasn’t working. That was nice after long hikes! The outhouse is a bit of a walk from the yurt. The wood stove made it cozy as temps dropped to 40’s at night. Electricity made it very easy.

3 nights at Scott’s Summit

Paige and I had a wonderful time at Scott’s site! The views were incredible, beautiful sunrises and sunsets were had. The site itself had a lot of great amenities and was well maintained. Scott was a phenomenal host who quickly answered any of the questions we had and gave us plenty of privacy. Plenty of great trails to hike around just a short drive away. Would highly recommend having a larger vehicle like an SUV to get to the site and navigate the terrain. I drive a Toyota rav4 and got around just fine. Would definitely recommend this site, we had a phenomenal time.

We had a good experience in the yurt! We did not meet Jill during our stay, but communication was easy. The outdoor shower was broken, but Jill kindly offered for us to use the shower in the barn which we appreciated. Despite the heat it was a bearable temperature to sleep inside the yurt. The added bonus of the fully equipped kitchen makes it feel like a luxurious camping experience. The yurt is a little bit cluttered, but we did not mind this. The kitchen did feel a bit sticky and dirty, so this could perhaps be approved upon. Parking next to the yurt was easy and convenient, and we appreciated Jill’s suggestions for where to eat in the towns nearby.

4 nights at Scott’s Summit

We had a lovely stay at Scott’s tent. The view was absolutely beautiful and made the entire stay worthwhile! It was also such a perk having a flushing toilet and creek water for washing. If you’re thinking of booking Scott’s tent, a couple of things to note: Although there is a road that takes you close to the tent, you have to park in a designated parking area which requires about 200 feet of an uphill hike to get your things to the tent. The paths were a little overgrown and the road up was a little tricky. We had no issues in our Jeep Wrangler, but I probably wouldn’t want to drive the road in anything with lower clearance or a much wider body. You can hear the highway at the site, but we got used to it after the first day. There is a flushing toilet in a tent not too far from the main camp, which we loved having available! The site is also very private, which we loved! All in all, as long as you feel comfortable with the drive and hike up, this was a nice spot to spend a long weekend.

My partner Kait and I stayed in this magical yurt for a couple of days and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the host’s hospitality was above and beyond welcoming, kind, and thoughtful. The yurt itself was incredibly cozy and beautifully designed. The bed was super comfy, and the whole space felt like a warm hug, especially as snow gently fell outside it was like living inside a snow globe. We also loved how close we were to nature. There were some incredible hiking trails right nearby, and the view at Blueberry Lake was absolutely breathtaking. It’s the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and soak in the quiet beauty of Vermont. Can’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely be back!

What a beautiful property! I had a great stay, Bill was super responsive and I had everything I needed in the cabin. It was a fun hike up to Mt Pelkey. The snow made it a true winter wonderland ❄️ The cabin was very private but close enough to the road that it wasn’t a hassle to get in and out. Great host, great property, highly recommend!
