Suburbia old orchard

1 site · Tent1 acre · Fairport, Monroe
Learn more about this land:Rare flat grassy areas within suburbia. Used to be an orchard until most was sold and converted to housing. One acre with level grassy areas remains. In sight of my house. Plenty of areas to choose from. Could supply a fire ring and logs to burn if interested. Dogs allowed, as long as they get along with and don’t chase other animals (I have a dog and an indoor/outdoor cat).

Lil' Bit of Country

6 sites · Lodging, Tents10 acres · Victor, Ontario
If you ever experienced, as a kid, going to the country to visit grandparents  - this is an adventure just like that with dirt (mud puddles and all) driveway (approx. 1000 ft. long). This is a private property of 10 acres of lightly wooded, sloping areas with a pond and a private residence of 2300 sq. ft. which have guest rooms available as a BnB - Book rooms on AirBnB as Victor Countryside 4 rooms (single or all). Whenland Eco-Trailer

1 site · Lodging3 acres · Naples, Ontario
A lovely, 3 acre plot of secluded land surrounded by cute ponds and decorated with sculptures. A small campfire spot, wood stove in the trailer and a composting toilet. Want to unplug and get away from the busy life? Most mobile phones do not work here! We have only minimal solar electricity, and there is a propane stove as well! Two double beds, one single, and a couple of nice cots. Tent Sites abound! We bought this property about four years ago. It was trashed by the previous owner and had an old dilapidated trailer in the middle of it. We cleaned and cleaned, then we ripped out the bad parts of the trailer and rebuilt the insides, placed a huge metal roof over the whole thing and put in a composting outhouse. There's no running water, and phones don't get reception, so you can truly unplug and decompress in this lovely, quiet piece of land which is close to a ton of hiking / forest land and just down the road from Cummings Nature Center, a great place for family exploration and learning.

R&R at Lagom Langing

4 sites · Lodging, Tents60 acres · Dansville, Livingston
The land we steward is half woods and half fields, located on a gentle easterly slope with a few small drainages running through. We offer opportunities for restoration and renewal through spending time in nature, listening to the abundant bird calls, watching deer and foxes and wild turkeys enjoy the land alongside us. We also have fairly large pollinator and vegetable gardens and chickens, and we produce maple syrup in the spring. If guests are interested, they may sign up for workshops on carpentry, food preservation, foraging, gardening, bread baking, and kombucha-brewing. We also offer spiritual direction and Enneagram typing and exploration. This experience can be as solitary as a guest would like, or guests can also experience the gift of connecting with others in community.

Mission Hemlock Grove

4 sites · RVs, Tents200 acres · Conesus, Livingston
Welcome, Mission Conesus, originally built by Franciscan Catholics. These lands were likely chosen for many reasons. Suffice it to say there is something special here. Come discover for yourself. Lose yourself here, or maybe find yourself, among the Hemlocks. First, a bit about the terrain. There is much in the way of forest, very mature, and a broad array of plant species. Elevation differences are vast, land to the west is uphill for quite a ways, and downhill to the east, to Hemlock lake below, so the world here can feel a bit tilted. We adjoin 150 acres of nature conservancy lands that nobody seems to know about. These lands are for respectful public daytime use. We also adjoin 6600 acres of NY state forest which is public property. Exploring all that is here would take a very long time! Want to get away? Welcome to our little slice of heaven. We are just getting started in the camping space, but for now, we're accepting bookings and looking forward to hosting you, at the mission.
