Roseland Family Farm has been owned by the Almond family for 5 generations. It was once a working muck farm. It now has wetlands as well as the beginnings of a community garden enterprise. Learn more about this land: Primitive camping site with fire pit, picnic table, commode for bathroom (with privacy), and portable potable water provided. You can explore the property by foot and observe the wildlife or bike on the local roads. We are rural-suburban in nature. Webster is 10 minutes away, and Rochester is 20 minutes away. We do have 2 dogs who may patrol the entire property from time to time. If you are arrive prior to 8 or 9 pm or are staying more than one night, we prefer to introduce them to you so they understand you are not intruders.

Primitive Camp @ Roseland Fam. Farm

Good safe place to crash for the night off the road. Had everything I needed and the hosts communicated well and were very welcoming. It’s close to the road, so you can hear cars but it’s separated by a field, tree, and some brush. Wasn’t a problem for me
