A great location for everything Wilmington ! Very quiet street with a lot of wildlife nearby. There's a nice swimming hole just a short walk down the street, along with public picnic tables along the Ausable River. Great host and clean site with water /well hose and a nice authentic ADK lean-to and firepit. Very relaxing .

What a fantastic place this is. The owners are super friendly and very communicative. They went out of the way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The site itself is so peaceful and the hookups are superb. We had one camper next to us, but they were super quiet and respectful. There is a grassed area surrounded by woods, with a communal fire pit so you can get to know your neighbor if you want. The site is level, and you are pretty much free to configure it as you want. At the bottom of the drive is a fantastic Amish farm stand which has jams, chutneys, excellent baked good and even homemade chocolates. Oh, and they had a great selection of gluten free baked goods at sensible prices. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time exploring the stunning Adirondacks without worrying about noisy, disrespectful neighbors that you get in other, larger campgrounds. We will definitely be back.

The sense of serenity at Meehan Mountain is surreal... from the gardens in the sunshine to the sound of the bullfrogs during the night. Frank is sweet and very kind. And I loved his dog too.

Lori and her husband were the perfect host. The place was secluded, and enough space for us and our dogs. They had lists of places to visit and see. Even gave us a map of local hikes. The area is beautiful but being to stay at Lori's place was the icing on the cake.

We loved our time at Bridge view! It was a great site with beautiful views. The owners were very attentive checking in on us. The location in Port Henry was central to our day trips to Vermont, Lake Placid, Fort Frederick, WhiteFace Mountain, Ticonderoga Ferry and the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour. The area was quiet (beginning of June) and everyone was super friendly. We loved every minute and we're sad to leave. We highly recommend staying here and we will be back!

We had a nice parking spot for the RV with electric. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They had written information telling campers local areas to visit and guidelines. The property was just lovely. There was a portable potty and area to cook, a place for a tent. Above all, were those adorable goats that I was able to pet and brush. My stay there was absolutely wonderful and memorable! Thank you!

Lori's rv sites are very convenient for accessing the high peaks region of the Adirondacks and surrounding areas. The sites are clean and spacious, and the hookups for water, electric and sewer are top notch. The water is from a well and is very good quality. Lori was a great host, lending us a table and answering questions about the area. We would definitely return!

Our property is located in Wakonda Family Campground. Our site is B15 and is located in a wooded area where you can have a tent or small trailer. The campsite has water and electric hook-up and fire wood with an outdoor fire pit. The campground has two private beaches for swimming. That same pond is open to fishing and paddle boating. There are bath houses throughout the campground and the closest one to the camp site is a 1 minute walk. The bath houses include 1 shower, two sinks, and 3 toilet stalls all are which are very clean and maintained very well by the campground. The campground also has a playground, basketball court, pickleball/tennis court, sand volleyball court, fenced-in dog park, and camp store with souvenirs. Bridgeview Harbour Marina

Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain. Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe. Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year. The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line. Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property. From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week.
