Creekside now has electric ceiling lights, hot plate, mini fridge, etc. With a king bed (or two twins) and a bunk bed set, the cabin can sleep 4, with room for extra cots if needed. The gazebo has an outlet as well. Please provide your own linens, cooking utensils, dishes, and other camping wear. Cabin can be heated with a woodstove. As of Spring 2026 our cabin is now fully insulated, with tile flooring. Warmer in in cold weather, and cooler during the summer.
Angelica NY is just a few miles up the road, where you will find cute antique shops, dollar general, post office, gas etc.
We love our little slice of private water side camping here in Angelica and hope you will take care of it like it was yours. Please no carving of names or dates in any structure, do not cut or chop down any living tree or vegetation. Our property has a lot of walnut trees- watch for falling nuts come late summer and fall! We bought this property about four years ago. It was trashed by the previous owner and had an old dilapidated trailer in the middle of it. We cleaned and cleaned, then we ripped out the bad parts of the trailer and rebuilt the insides, placed a huge metal roof over the whole thing and put in a composting outhouse.
There's no running water, and phones don't get reception, so you can truly unplug and decompress in this lovely, quiet piece of land which is close to a ton of hiking / forest land and just down the road from Cummings Nature Center, a great place for family exploration and learning.

Weekend Trip to Creekside on Camp Road
My trip was amazing! The hosts were very accommodating to my last minute trip. The campsite is so cute and has so much allowing you to really pack the fun items and not worry about chairs and tables. The creek was phenomenal. I wanted to give my dog the opportunity to around and stretch his legs. He had so much fun zooming around the property, and using the rush of the creek as a “waterslide”. The fire pit was in a perfect location and provided an awesome cozy atmosphere. Great for people who really enjoy getting full use of a camping location!!

Stayed at site #3 which is set back and away from 2 other sites. SPACIOUS area surrounded by woods with a lean to, picnic table, fire ring. It's really a great, private area and feels secluded from the other two sites.
Emily was quickly responsive to every question leading up to the trip and couldn't have been a better host. Small amenities like a bin in the lean to with an area guide book and a small stock of perhaps forgotten necessities to a welcoming flower pot near the camp entrance give a feeling of warmth and welcome to the site. This was a great choice for us and look forward to staying here again.

Weekend Trip to Overgrown Ridge Camp By Letchworth
The yurt at Golden Hour was elegantly curated for a cozy glamping weekend. It was a roomy space with coffee and cookies, which were delicious! We enjoyed sitting by the fire, star gazing, reading and painting in the quiet countryside. The yurt gets hot this time of year, but the hosts provided us with a fan. There is also a lovely gazebo with curtains and bug nets around the picnic table. This was a great place to cook and eat without being bothered by bugs. Very cute lights as well :) The outhouse was spacious and very clean. I had never used a pump shower before, but it was a welcome experience after a hot day! Thank you very much to our gracious hosts, they truly provided a wonderful place to stay the weekend.

This campsite and the whole experience was perfect! Our host was responsive and did little things to make our trip even more enjoyable. Check in/out was simple and all directions were clear. The site itself was so much more beautiful than pictures could ever show. Our family trip was 5 adults and 1 child, and we had plenty of space to be together, or enjoy some time alone. We enjoyed all of the activities this space had to offer- the cabin with comfy beds, the lookout gazebo held a nice size tent up top, the BBQ charcoal grill, the propane grill, 2 large picnic tables, outhouse with lime to keep the smell down, outdoor sink and shower with plenty of water, plenty of sun and shade overall, comfy Adirondack chairs, hammocks, swings and also a nice wooden bench swing in the shade overlooking the creek, walks for fossils on the ceeekbed, plenty of swimming holes with a little current to play in, generous amount of stocked firewood for a small fee... we even got to hear coyotes in the distance at night and saw some eagles and giant butterflies during the day. This place in nature is well taken care of and loved by it's owners, you can tell instantly. It truly exceeded all expectations for a private Creekside Cabin rental.

We have held our class Summer picnic at this location for the past 5 years.
It is always clean and ready for our event. Clean up is made easier by paying the cleaning fee when booking. We put everything in garbage bags or cans but don't have to take it with us.
The owners maintain the main road access to this semi secluded paradise very well.
As this is a by the day rental, by renting on a Saturday we don't have to vacate until 11am on Sunday.
Some classmates that came from a distance have chosen to stay in the cabin overnight in one if the six bunks available inside before hitting the road back home. This is a "value added" option.

This cabin was an especially comfortable and surprisingly luxurious stay on our road trip. The cabin was clean and of fresh construction, with a clean porta-potty and a nice hot propane-heated shower conveniently located. Amber was a prompt and polite host and communicator, and the farm was lovely with nice stargazing and close access to the beautiful Seneca Lake and Watkins Glen falls. 10/10 would visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at McCormick Farms Base Camp. The campsite was peaceful, spacious, and well maintained. The location is fantastic—just a few minutes from Letchworth State Park, so it was easy to spend the day exploring and then return to a quiet campsite in the evening.
Emily was an exceptional host. She was incredibly accommodating and a great communicator throughout our stay, making everything easy from booking through checkout. We really appreciated her responsiveness and hospitality.
The thoughtful setup with the picnic table and fire pit, combined with the quiet farm setting, made for a relaxing getaway. If you're looking for a scenic, convenient place to camp near Letchworth, we highly recommend McCormick Farms Base Camp. We'd happily stay here again!

Allison and Randy are such kind and generous hosts, they really make you feel welcome and comfortable. This was our third time camping with them and hopefully not the last! Spending time with their goats and other livestock is a real treat, but so it taking walks along their trails and soaking up the beautiful views. We highly recommend this site!

Weekend Trip to Overgrown Ridge Camp By Letchworth
We chose this spot to get out of the city and get a break from loud fireworks (our dog is terrified). There were some around, but it wasn't a total loss. The site is clearly well thought out, and had everything we needed. It was 90 degrees during the day and I was surprised that the outhouse gave off no smell. It would have been brutal if it wasn't for the gazebo that was put up, that provided some shade. I'd bring your own canopy if you have more than two people, though. The bed was cozy, solar panel power was perfect for two people to charge phones and speaker, and we were able to run a fan constantly. We felt secluded, and only heard the people at the other campsite late at night. We did purchase firewood ahead of time, it was in the tent when we got there and we ended up purchasing another bundle through the app. We absolutely would stay again.

It’s such beautiful space, it’s tucked away behind their house but it’s very private, quiet, filled with wild flowers, tall grass and tons of greenery. The set up was perfect. The cabin itself had it all; an AC/heating unit, hot plate, fridge, bed, breakfast bar and couch. It was so cozy. We loved the fire pit and lights around the camp! It’s only 15 minutes from Letchworth park. Jalin was very welcoming and helpful in finding the property. We’re very grateful to have had a girls trip and get away from the city. Our rainy stay in the wooded cabin (no electricity, no shower) was fun and our 2 teenagers loved its uniqueness. We still managed to build a fire and BBQed outside when the sky cleared. So fun!
The built & insulation of the cabin is really amazing! Randy, we really concur with you that that little wood stove really heats up fast! And I particularly loved the red bricks on the stove which reminded me of my childhood. I used to place those at the end of the bed wrapped in newspapers to keep my feet warm in the winter. So nostalgic though we did not use them. Too hot! But nevertheless, it brought back sweet memories to me!
And we really loved the cozy interior string lights above the beds. Lovely touch!
Hearing about Randy's love for woodworking and Allison's devotion to her farm animals was such a beautiful interaction. This stay was unique and a wonderful break from our busy & comfortable life.

Such a great location, beautiful view and clean site with an outhouse. We had a fabulous time, and the site is less than 10 minutes to letchworth!

This was an amazing trip. We had a great time so many beautiful flowers you can see for miles and miles and the views of the sky were spectacular! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. The people who own this this are great people
