Homebase for Total Eclipse
We had a great time staying here for a couple nights! We traveled to the area to witness the total eclipse and stayed here for the weekend. Normally we would camp but for a short trip we figured we would try glamping for the first time.
Lots of wildlife in the area. Loved hearing the owls at night! Also I loved the view of the night sky. We had clear skies and a new moon and the stars were incredible!
The tent is a short downhill walk away from the parking area. Would recommend bringing hiking shoes. The area is very tranquil and private and has a small pond.
We had a late check in our first night but Audrye built the fire for us so it was ready when we arrived! Audrye was really welcoming and easy to contact.
The weather was a little colder than expected but Audrye made sure we had extra blankets so we stayed warm enough.
We were pleasantly surprised by the tiny details in the tent. It seemed like Audrye put a lot of thought and consideration into making her guests comfortable!
Fair warning the compost toilet is just a bucket with a bag and sawdust. Still gets the job done.
Definitely worth staying here for the price and the location!

5 Star Glamping
I stayed on Audrye’s property for the total solar eclipse and her glamping tent has everything you could ever want. The stars were absolutely breathtaking, and frogs along the pond sing you to sleep. Audrye had a fire pit set up upon arrival with a quick light log so even someone who’s unfamiliar with starting fire should have no trouble. There are also grill tools and extending marshmallow skewers, so you can leave your cooking gear at home. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets, which is great for those like me who are always cold. The neighbors were well out of sight and the quiet was more than welcome for this city dweller!

I had such an amazing time there it was absolutely beautiful. Audrye was amazing and very accommodating to me she made sure I had everything I needed. The tent was super cozy, and cute, and everything I expected it to be, and more. I had the best sleep ever out there. I will definitely be coming back again very soon.

We had a really great time staying here! The tent and deck were super cool and we enjoyed having the fire pit and picnic area as well. The hosts were really friendly and nice! We 10/10 recommend!
