Our property consists of 2 acres surrounded by apple orchards, strawberry, blueberry and raspberry fields, corn fields, pumpkins and more! We have segmented a portion of the property for use as a RV/Tent site, with 30A electric, water, septic hookup, fire pit and picnic table, with plenty of space for vehicles, a boat and room for kids to run around. Note there is no host-provided toilet here. Campers must provide their own. On the working orchard around us and within walking distance is a petting zoo with a horse, donkeys, llamas and goats, and a playground. Come visit in the fall and you may be able to take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkins, and find your way through the corn maze next door. There is also a very large country store stocked with fresh vegetables, maple syrup and other local products, gifts and souvenirs of all kinds and a bakery where you’ll find fresh donuts, pies, breads, cookies, breakfast items and so much more! Mollie Mae’s Chicken Ranch also makes a great home base location for anyone interested in venturing out to the surrounding areas. Whether it’s spending time on the beach at Ausable Point campground, golfing some of the surrounding courses, paddling or boating the waters of Lake Champlain, hiking the hundreds of trails in the Adirondack Mountains, leaf-peeping northern New York and Vermont in the fall, or visiting the Olympic Village in Lake Placid, there are so many things to see and do within a short driving distance. We are just 4.1 miles from Ausable Point campground and Lake Champlain, 4.6 miles from Ausable Chasm, 7.9 miles from Bluff Point Golf Resort, 12 miles south of Plattsburgh, 34 miles from Whiteface Mountain and 38 miles from Lake Placid. You can also take the Lake Champlain ferry from Plattsburgh and a short ride to Burlington, VT, which is about 41 miles away in total. If you want an international, metropolitan experience Montreal, Canada is only 71 miles north, but still close enough for a day trip.

Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Bartlette Falls is a gorgeous waterfall located just outside of Bristol! Ski and snowboarding is available minutes away at Sugarbush Resort.
