This location was so much fun! Perfect views, and we were able to have a nice campfire in the morning. Nikki was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The location was gorgeous and in good driving distance of the national forests. Would absolutely visit again!

1 night at Canyon of the Sleeping Bear
My boyfriend and I spent one night in one of the cabins on Nikki's land. Facilities were clean and as described and Nikki was excellent at communicating. I would suggest a 4WD car with some clearance, especially if it's raining or snowing because it's a longer drive on a dirt road. Overall great stay!

Charming place not far from ojo caliente or the historic railroad in antonito. I didn't get a chance to try the food at the restaurant, but it smelled great.

Not quite a camp cabin and not quite a B&B, it has tons of history and character. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! The area is lovely with lots of opportunity for hiking and outdoor recreation, and plenty of room for our dogs to run.

1 night at Chili Line Depot Historic Lodging
We are a bicycling group of 5 and enjoyed a wonderful evening (plus dinner and breakfast) at the Chili Line. Deborah (and her staff) runs a very sweet 3-room lodge in conjunction with her restaurant. Deborah took the time to meet us after we arrived and sat down with us during our dinner. We enjoyed a most relaxing and pleasant overnight stay . . . it was a great (and convenient) stay-over between Chama and Taos.

Weekend Trip to Chili Line Depot Historic Lodging
Deb was a fabulous host, we felt right at home and well taken care of. She was accommodating of our vegetarian diets, flexible with our timing needs, and took the time to swap life stories with us and share some of her incredible adventures. She even called us while we were en route, later than expected, to see if they should leave the grill on for us! We’d stay here again :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Deborah’s. Her whole crew was very welcoming and warm, the place was cute and spacious. I rolled in during a storm so I didn’t get to explore the area like I wanted to, but the views I saw were gorgeous. It’s very high altitude so I recommend preparing yourself for that- drink water in excess and bring some pain pills for the pressure at night. Would stay again!

Had a good night sleep at the Chili lime depot also a hot shower which is 5 star in my book. Private bathroom and if you’re lucky enough to catch the kitchen open the food looked good and the people were very nice and inviting. Pastries were yummy especially the lemon one!! No water in the hot tub so we didn’t bother to try it out and it was close enough to the Earthship village for dirt shenanigans! Thanks for having us, I would stay again

Debbie was a very friendly welcoming host! She even invited us to join their Christmas Eve pot luck downstairs in the restaurant! We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet area. We rented the second floor bunk room. We had a hard turning the heater on at first, but figured it out. Recommended if you’re doing some sight seeing in the area.
