1 night at Sunny Mellow Eco Villa

An incredible experience I had staying here— the feeling of calm and carefully cultivated natural peace is unmatched. There are so many wonderful places to sit and enjoy the trees and the birds, or to enjoy a delicious coffee, or to have a giggly conversation with a friend or partner. The hosts of this land are phenomenal human beings, complete with wonderful stories and kind words and dazzling smiles. I will absolutely be bringing the people I love most back to this spot with me, so that they too can experience the magic. Already counting down the days until I am able to return—hopefully in the summer, when the fruit trees have blossomed. :)

Weekend Trip to Healing on the Rio Grande !

This place was amazing. I am on a long road trip after rescuing a dog in Phoenix. They were kind enough to wait up for me. The room was really comfortable and clean for my dog and I. The only thing I regret is not being able to spend more time there. The outside space is so cool. Hopefully I’m able to visit again! Thank you!

The land is well loved. You could feel it. Directions to get there were clear, and the quiet desert was exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved hearing coyotes in the morning.

An amazing spot to spend an evening! Gorgeous views all around woth so much character. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in the area. Roan and Ivy were great communicators and great to meet as well. Our little dog loved exploring the area and was fascinated by the occasional cow bones she would find.

Great location for an overnight RV stay. Ground was level, bathrooms, laundry, showers all clean and working perfectly. Very friendly, professional, and helpful staff on site. We stayed at 8 locations during our New Mexico road trip and this park was handsdown the best. Like, no competition. Everything was ready when we arrived and we just had to stop by the office to get our site number. Nice fenced kids play area and little dog park too.

We are NOT an RV park nor are we a " camp ground " . We Are an Organic Garden ( Urban Permaculture ) that you can stay inside a magical, growing goodness space . This place is very, very private . The parking area is not private . Our road is dead end , very low traffic . The garden wall around the whole tent area has a 6 foot tall , very thick wall , and trees , surrounding every thing. There is a forest and pond for ducks behind the garden . Our place is for Wildlife, to be fed, and given water and safe space to raise young. We are located in an area where the birds of the world fly from the north to the south and then change direction each season. Many lizards . Many wild mammals . There are many farms in the area. With Horses , goats , chickens , ducks , mules, donkeys , other livestock . We have no pets and no livestock. At night this is dark ( we do have solar lights on walk ways ) and it is peaceful. A safe zone for travelers . Serene , gentle and lovely . You get your privacy . New Mexico is so amazing, all year . We have inside space in Fall / Winter . Welcome to Mother Bosque Garden . Started in Corrales NM in 2010 . We are in the North valley of Albuquerque New Mexico 87107. The same families have lived here for 100, 200, 300 plus years . 1000s of years . Native people have lived in this valley for close to 20,000 years more . The Rio Grande is very close by ( 2 miles west of us ) bike or by car . We are close to route 40 and route 25, just 7 mins. away . There is a Food Co-op with in a 5 mins. drive . And a regular store and gas within one mile of our place. Come eat Traditional New Mexican Foods and Heal with Very Living Traditional New Mexican Herbal Medicines . Relax, rest, find repose. Happy travels, happy hiking, happy sleeping under the stars, happy home made food, happy resting. Old Town is close by, so is the Rio Grande River and Nature Center ( 2 miles up the street ) . Hiking is along the acequia, across the creek or you can actually hike in the creek, as the water runs underground shortly past my property. There are also many places to hike west of my property along Rosa Castilla. Wild horses roam all over the BLM land and along the creek. Desert area, 6000" elevation, so very dry and must be excectionally careful about fires. Only in provided grills . There is abundant wood that you can use for free, but put all coals out and you can use the creek water, when it is there. REMEMBER this is the desert!!I would like to book a 3 month visit from January 1st-April 1st with free water. You need to provide your own electricity, but solar would be an excellent option as sites are on south facing, so panels would work well. I would like to trade a discount for help on the farm during this time. $5.00 a day disount, plus the water. You would be the only one booked during this time, so very quiet and private for long term winter stay!!
