Breathtaking Views—Nature’s Best
Diana’s place was absolutely spectacular. The grounds are amazing, the land is rich in its beauty and bounty, and the peaceful, healing atmosphere with crisp mornings was everything needed to have a mind-body-spirit reset. Yoga yurt, hot tub, walking paths, a kitchenette, clean bathrooms, and refreshing outdoor showers. She’s thought of everything—can’t wait to come back and stay again.

A very special place!
Star Dance is an experience! Incredible views, wonderful hosts - cannot wait to return. Even more beautiful than the pictures, Star Dance is a gem of a spot for a unique camping experience. The hosts we very communicate, directions were perfect & we loved camping in our van next to the horses! So fun to wake up & say good morning to them! We had a quick stay & hope to return to spend more time and enjoy all this special place has to offer.

Stunning property with phenomenal views. It truly is a beautiful setup with all the amenities one might need. Wear a good pair of shoes and take your light weight camp gear. You’ll be a better person when you leave this paradise.

A really great retreat!
My husband and I loved spending time at Stardance! The camp spots are well spaced, there are good amenities like a nearby fully stocked kitchen and showers and toilets, and the land is amazing with the most beautiful views, sunrises and sunsets and night skies. There's lots to explore and observe, lizards to make friends with, and great spots to just stop and be. If you're there during a hot spell bring some shade- we had an accommodating juniper at our site, but it might have been tough in the heat of the day without her. The swimming beach at Abiquiu lake is nearby but we didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back!

The most beautiful generous place
Star Dance was the most beautiful place we've ever camped in. From the drive in starting on hwy 84 all the way past the gate in, we were blown away by the landscape. Diana was super easy and accessible to communicate with, she was there within seconds to greet us and made us feel immediately at home as she walked us to our campsite--it is clear that she is a knowledgeable caretaker of the land and she shared some secrets of the land with us (the rocks blown over from Changing Woman mountain...) The bathroom and gorgeously tiled outdoor shower (with a view of the canyon!!) were immaculate, the tuff shed kitchen is fully stocked--super grateful to get to pack light this trip and still be able to cook a hot meal AND safely store perishable items. Everything here is just so thoughtfully designed (appreciated the picnic tables too) while remaining in harmony with nature. Also a really sweet communal yurt for tenters to stretch in/yoga or just in case of weather. No picture will ever do the camp site full justice--you're as close as you could be to camping in the heart of a canyon. View of shimmering lake, it's simply heaven. Saw bunnies, hummingbirds galore, lizards, heard the grazing cattle at night. Multiple paths to start your hike down from Star Dance into the canyon, walking sticks are also offered. This place has everything you could possibly wish for, come here and just be. Will never forget this journey. Thank you, Star Dance & Diana.
