Such a beautiful, well cared for and tranquil space. We so enjoyed our brief stay and wish it could have been longer. Chase is indeed a gracious and kind host. We have already told friends who want to go soon. Thanks so much for sharing it with us - it really helped to make our trip so special!!! Hope to return soon.

It was good to stay here. Clean property, a very friendly and helpful owners, they do all to help you to feel good to stay. we stay in tent and there good maintained flat grass area to put several tents. Listing description is accurate in words, however some things was a surprise for us.
1) Property is pretty small (i think not more than 0.3 acr). I expected much more open space. Photos in listing was made with wide angle view lens and from low level perspective to make appearance of big space.
2) Shaded space for tents... is not a shaded, if you think about napping at lunch time, it will not work.
3) guest toilet is a composting toilet under open sky. It is very clean and everything organized well.
4) Shower is outside as well. However it was a pleasure to use it, water is warm and with good pressure. If you want, you may even take a bath ;)
But all listed "issues" was not a problem at all for my family and we enjoy 2 nights stay. If i need to put rate i will say 4.5 stars of 5. and i take half star don for advertisement inaccuracy.

The vibe of this place was fantastic! Cassidy was a wonderful host, and our family really enjoyed staying here while we visited Albuquerque and the Balloon Fiesta. I will say the spot is pretty small, and not really big enough for even a small RV, which is what we brought. But Cassidy and Chase bent over backwards to make it work for us. If you are car/van/tent camping, it has everything you need!

This space is a beautiful, restful oasis in the midst of a neighborhood. It’s well-ordered, clean, and Cass couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. One of their (super friendly) cats hopped right into my car to say hi (given only the barest amount of encouragement from me). Absolutely would stay with Cass and fam again.

I loved tent camping here! They have everything you need and the environment is so cool! Cats, and composting toilet, and outdoor shower, and lots of seating and outdoor space. It's a lot of fun :) very convenient to everything. The hosts were so generous and gave great recommendations for the area.

This was a great spot for us to camp. We were in town for business. We felt like we had a private comfortable place, even though we were sharing a bathroom in the house. We loved the outdoor kitchen and the porch.

The only real downside for us had to do the area versus your accommodations. We would probably look for a different area of ABQ next time. It would have been a bit nicer to not have to pass through much of your personal space to get to the restroom, but we understand that that is not something easy to change, aside from renting a porto potty which may be cost prohibitive. We had our own toilet so it dis not impact us directly.

So our stay was wonderful. Very Nice couple and their son were so very gracious. Well worth the money. We pulled in late so it was a little difficult to confirm we were in the right place because of the dark. That said some clues that really helped were, the front gate has a sign that says "Private" it's the second house from the corner on the left, there are wood chips on the ground there is a second gate once you pull in. Everything was easy to hook up to. They had a sink and a grill we used for breakfast, and utensils for use to use in a plastic container. the dog was friendly and the area was beautiful and quiet. I would definitely stay again. Thanks so much you guys.

Cass’s house is an amazing spot to camp in Albuquerque! It’s definitely one of the best hipcamps we’ve booked - the backyard has many amenities, nice spaces to hang out, and friendly animals hanging around. Cass and Chase are very welcoming hosts as well - we would be happy to stay here again and totally recommend it!

Cass and her husband were incredibly accommodating. We enjoyed waking up to a quiet space and our dog enjoyed the secure fence to run around in. There were clean spaces to cook in if need be. I felt very safe there in this spot!

I loved the location! It was absolutely perfect!! It was quiet and homely! Cassidy was a really welcoming host! She is a great cook, I definitely suggest to add breakfast to your reservation, cause it was awesome! This was the best location during the entire trip!

Cassidy and Chase were wonderful hosts. My friend and I were road-tripping from Texas to Arizona and stopped in ABQ for the night and needed a place to car camp. Their property is gated, so we felt secure. If u camp in spot 2 just be aware there’s a giant light pole (a city light), so bring an eye cover or something to cover your car windows to block it out. We opted to purchase breakfast from them and boy were we glad we did. Cassidy keeps chickens and a garden so we benefited from fresh eggs and tomatoes. Cassidy made us omelettes with peppers, home style potatoes, sausages, and hot fresh cinnamon coffee. It was all truly delicious. Better than anything we’d have gotten at a restaurant. And she has it ready for us at our requested time of 7:15 AM :) And make sure to give their cat, Hamilton, lots of love if u stop in. He’s a sweetie.

This was my first time using hipcamp and staying in a home like this, and it exceeded my expectations. I had a "Welcome Bonnie!" sign on the door of the room that was mine for 3 nights, and Cassidy was very proactive about recommendations and asking if I needed anything. Her cat was super friendly, too. I was out and about so much exploring ABQ, but I wish I spent more time at the house relaxing. The bed was comfortable and I even woke up to the sounds of sandhill cranes migrating above!

South Valley Oasis Guest Room
Cassidy’s home is very warm and inviting. I loved the coffee bar and kitchen set up. Our room was clean, nice linens, well put together and plenty of closet space. Fresh towels were provided and the bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soaps from Whole Foods 😊. The backyard is spacious with room for fires and several seating options and tables. There were 4 tent sites maybe more. Just be aware there is one bathroom so there may a wait time. We didn’t have a problem all the other guests were respectful no one was a bathroom hog and everyone kept the bathroom clean but just something to be aware of. I would definitely recommend it.

Cassidy was a wonderful host! She was very welcoming and gave a lot of clarity before arriving about the space and amenities. My small dog and I were very comfortable in the backyard in our 5 window short bus, surrounded by trees, sweet grassy/mulched areas, cute seating nooks and the chickens (yummy eggs graciously shared by host!). The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot! I mostly needed a safe place to park up and come and go, and this space was that and beyond! So grateful and excited to return. The spot was a little difficult to back out of in my larger rig, but was possible with some patience and guidance.

Cass’s casa is truly the oasis it promises to be! Me and my partner came here to stay during a big life transition and the place created such good healing energy and clarity. The backyard space is magical with sweet chickens and an abundant garden. Cass was very helpful with recommendations for hiking, coffee, food and more, and a pleasure to get to know. We were BFFs with her cat Ham and will miss him much. The indoor space was clean, comfy, and decorated with lots of unique art and nice colors! Would recommend to anyone rolling through town.

Casa de Cass is a very welcoming host. Her email messages to me the day I was scheduled to arrive were warm and welcoming confirmations of everything advertised in her original Hipcamp offering and I appreciated that. Unfortunately, due to my own mix up with my travel plans I was not able to stay at her place, but I would definitely check it out again based on the emails I have received from her, she was still friendly late at night (almost early morning the next day)!
