The Orchard House at Peck Farm Orchard is the building where we serve our customers during our orchard season September through October. The property is located on a dirt road in rural Vermont and is surrounded by conserved land in current farm use. Please note: This property has been repurposed for the very special event of the full eclipse April 8th, 2024. Travel and weather in Vermont in April can be like summer, like winter, something in between and all of it in one day. Please pack and plan accordingly. Spring(March-May) travel can be very muddy. The building is made of rough cut wood from our farm property and features a cook stove, power, refrigerator and access to an outdoor fire circle. The floor is concrete so an air mattress or better yet a cot is recommended. Is you plan on using the wood cook stove please let us know. While the cookstove can provide some heat and the ability to cook it does not heat the whole building very well. There are outlets for use in the building. There is one string of plug in lights, no other lighting is installed. A traditional outhouse is located just 50 yards from the Orchard House. Drinkable well water is available upon request with 24 hours notice. 2 miles from the Orchard House is a small cooperative country store with food supplies. The Peck Farm Orchard is located on a beautiful 4 mile loop frequently used by runners and walkers. There is easy access to local hiking trails and snowmobile/skiing trails. The orchard and parking area is located on 18 acres with access to trails spanning more than a thousand acres.

We had such a great time at the yurt and exploring the property with our two dogs! Morgan did a great job of showing us everything we needed to know for our stay. The yurt itself is absolutely beautiful and truly makes you feel like you’re sleeping in nature. The location that they chose to build the yurt provides an amazing view of the mountains right out the front window. We opted to use the wood-fired hot tub while we were there and it was a fantastic experience. Although the wood stove was out of commission during our stay, the space heaters that were provided were more than enough to keep the yurt toasty, even during the cold late November nights. We would gladly come back again!

I loved camping on Lori's land. All the glamping tents are very private, and you have to walk about 100 yards from the car, so there is no noise at all. The outhouse was super clean and so cool inside. The bed in the tent was very comfortable and had enough room for the dog as well. The land is beautiful with North Conway only a 30 min drive for great food and coffee! I highly recommend this Hip Camp!

We stayed in the yurt for a weekend and loved it! Bed was comfy and thought the woodstove wasn't working, the space heater kept us cozy. Morgan and Rush were excellent hosts, answered all our questions graciously and made us very welcome. The woodfired hot tub was glorious. Hope we can visit again someday!

The perfect place to get away from the daily hustle. The cabin was well built and surprisingly insulated. The well-thought out design provided plenty of room. The location is far enough off the beaten path, but close enough to civilization to grab supplies if you needed to. The basic kitchen cooking utensils are provided. We will definitely be back. This was a great campsite! Close to the hikes in White Mountain yet enough away from the crowd. The tent setup and beds are cozy, there are a lot of supplies to use, and as everyone says but worth repeating this is the nicest and cleanest outhouse I've seen. Unfortunately I was only here for a brief stay as I was just passing through, but would love to come back for a longer time.

This yurt stay was peaceful, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed from top to bottom. Everything inside had a clear purpose and was arranged to make settling in feel natural. It’s clear a lot of care went into creating a space that supports rest without distraction. The scenery surrounding the site was a real highlight—wide, uninterrupted views that made even quiet moments feel expansive. It’s also very secluded, with a strong sense of privacy. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, which added to the low-stress feel of the whole trip. One delightful highlight: they make their own maple syrup on the property, and it’s excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with skill. If you’re looking for a place to unplug without giving up basic comfort, this is a solid option. Balanced, quiet, and beautifully situated.

We loved staying at Darren's yurt. It was cozy and well-appointed. The picnic table, fire pit, fire wood, and maple syrup for sale on-site were also nice touches. Note, that the drive to the campsite from the road was quite treacherous, even with 4-wheel drive. We recommend for those with vehicles that are high off the ground. Darren was a wonderful, communicative, and helpful host!

Absolutely sweeping views! The yurt has power. Hot water shower outside with a sink behind it. We went in the rain and staying dry was absolutely no problem at all. I cannot get over how beautiful the land is. When I say sweeping views, I mean you can see many, many mountains through the door of the yurt. Morgan was fantastic, friendly, and hospitipal. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend Lori's Butterhill for an outdoor getaway! It was so nice to be able to take my boys camping without packing and setting up all the gear. Everything was clean, aesthetic, and homey. We rented the propane heater and cracked the tent windows a little for ventilation. It was so cozy overnight! No more freezing cold camping nights. I especially loved the french press so I could enjoy a hot cup of coffee around our morning campfire. Lori couldn't be more friendly. The whole experience went so well that we're already planning to come back! It's worth every penny! Thanks Lori!

There is a beautiful hike to a mountain lookout view of an amazing panoramic of lakes and mountains including Mt Washington and Pleasant Ski mountain. From 5 Kezars rd turn right onto Kezars Ridge Drive, the last camp road before the pavement ends.) At 0.6 miles keep right onto 5 Kezar Ponds Road. Look for a GLLT sign on the right. This is the Mountain Trail. There is a second access 0.5 miles farther west on 5 Kezar Ponds Road for Ron’s Loop. Here is a link for all Lovell Land trust trails: https://www.gllt.org/five-kezars-reserve 2 Local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs. Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake.
