Max # of guests is 10 total.
We really don't have the space for any pull-behind trailers other than very tiny units and ask that guests be 16 or older as we are on the water.

Remote Camping at its finest, campers will have access to a rustic out house and solar shower, as well as the clean waters of the pond for their use. Two Kayaks, with paddles and adult life vests are available for use on-site. Life jackets must be worn at all times. Please message for details. A small Shed on property can be accessed if dry storage space is needed. Firewood (one bundle & kindling) and fire pit will be provided. If you would like additional firewood during your stay, please use the "add-on" feature and select how many bundles of wood you would like. Weekend Trip to Pine Cone Cabin
The wood stove was super easy to use! The fire started quickly, and warmed up the cabin very quickly! Perfect amount of space for three people to stay, although 4 folks would fit comfortably as well! We liked that the loft was carpeted. The burner and fridge were great to have. Special shout out to the bell on the outside of the cabin, it was a delightful addition to the aesthetic.

Weekend Trip to Pine Cone Cabin
We stayed at Pine Cone Cabin in late January when it was -16 degrees out. The cabin kept us warm with the wood stove, and we enjoyed a quiet weekend away. The driveway was plowed when we arrived making it easy for us to park close to the cabin and there was wood available for purchase even though we had come prepared. This is our second time staying at the cabin. Our last visit was in summer. I think both seasons are equally enjoyable at this space as long as you are well prepared.

2 nights at Pine Cone Cabin
My stay at Pine Cone Cabin was exactly what I'd hoped for. The perfect balance of rustic simplicity and creature comforts. The wood stove kept the cabin warm all night even when the temps dipped to 0 degrees. Though there are a few houses nearby, the cabin feels and is incredibly private. I felt safe there as a woman alone, from out of town.
I don't love portapotties so I brought my own camping toilet to offset my need for it, and appreciated there being ample space in the bathroom to set it up. That said, the portapotty was clean and had no odor.
I loved exploring the nearby forests - some are closed during winter but Kettle Pond State Park's trail is open and well worth walking through... wintertime in Vermont is truly something :)
fyi, Mint mobile cell signal in the cabin and general area is spotty and mostly nonexistent, which I anticipated and was glad to have downloaded some music and a couple movies in advance.
A perfect stay - I'd love to return.

We are a family of four including two teenagers. We had a great time! It was just enough space to feel like we were having an adventure while having real quality time, huddled around the wood stove playing games.
We also found a nearby walk at Kettle Pond, which was the perfect happy, medium for the cold temperatures and beautiful surrounding landscapes.
The hosts were very communicative and gave us a lot of privacy. Amazing!

The property here was amazing to be at. I was part of a 4.person group bikepacking through Vermont and came across this as an option for reprieve during a to be rainy night. The main lodge was very homey, communal, and clean. A huge kitchen and plenty of seating/hang out area for folks to catch up and chat. Honestly we would have loved to stay longer and get to know even more about the place as it seemed to have some good history and current operations to it.

Wonderful spot. We stayed here on our fall trip to dog mountain with our senior dog and light hiking in fall foliage. The bed was comfortable and the lodge area was nice to make coffee, hot teas, and take a warm shower. The hosts were lovely and communicative. They even had the sweetest horses living there. Gorgeous comfortable glamping spot. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

3 nights at Pine Cone Cabin
This is a perfect spot for the fall time when the leaves are changing colors, the roads to and from have incredible views as well as the view from the cabin. Nearby trails also have incredible views, Owl Head’s Trail specifically has an amazing summit view to check out, and if you’re not avid hiker you can drive most of the way to the top. Small yet spacious, it’s a perfect cabin to get away from everything for a few days to enjoy the nature.
P.S. Verizon service works though seems to potentially have issues with data intermittently mostly during the daytime, calls and texts were always available
