Sugarbush Resort is a 10 minute drive and is one of the best ski mountains in the area! My land is easily accessible by main road, has ample parking, and yet cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, wildlife, fireflies and peepers are just outside the door. In the summer season, several organic farmstands and local picturesque swimming holes range between 5-15 minutes away. Autumn's glorious show is on display everywhere you look. Winter offers easy access to groomed VAST trails in the field behind the house and studio. Hopkins Center, AVA Gallery, the Lebanon Opera House, Northern Stage, and a wide array of restaurants are within 20 minutes. The Lyme bridge is now open, so there are more restaurants, trails, activities and the Dartmouth Skiway! Despite the proximity to town and even to my home, the simple studio space is serene in its sumac baby forest. The space is one of a kind, with a giant salvaged chapel window, cathedral ceilings, a candelabra, a clawfoot tub, a quirky outhouse, on-demand hot water, electricity and wifi. The site lists that it sleeps 4? But three is more realistic, and I cannot seem to change it. Weekend Trip to Bent Apple Farm
Perfect snow get away. Wood burning stove and heater kept us warm, even with just one. Enjoyed listening and looking through the vinyls. Loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking and the comfy bed. The cabin was cute and felt very lived in. It was a nice surprise to see a journal of how many people stayed there, especially during Covid, very lovely notes people left! Only down side - couldn’t stop sneezing at times, lots of dust in the crevices of the wood floor and fabric. Also wish there was a bit more privacy at the door and hot tub, could see the guest next door. Overall definitely would recommend and stay again!

Weekend Trip to Sacred Nectar Sanctuary
We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite! Our host Nick was incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond, it made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming from start to finish. We brought our two kids and our German Shepherd! The site couldn’t have been more perfect for all of us. The kids had a blast exploring, and our dog felt right at home. He was off leash the entire time and the second we pulled up, we ended up meeting Chaga, the friendliest Husky you will ever meet! Chaga stayed right outside our RV the entire night and waited to greet us in the morning. He and our dog Scout got along instantly. Scout did not want to leave on the last day! We had to literally drag him back into the RV lol. They will be best friends fureverrr 😂🐶🐕 It’s not always easy to find a place that works so well for the whole family, but this spot truly did. The campsite was extremely peaceful, spacious , clean, and thoughtfully set up with the most amazing views of the mountains. We also ended up using the sauna as well, which was so relaxing. I wish we could’ve stayed there longer than two days. We will definitely be back another time when it gets a little bit warmer. We highly highly recommend this location for families and dog owners! 🏕️🐾✨

We enjoyed the horse run in! The run in was clean and had everything we needed. Very much enjoyed the wood burning stove, hot tub, and fire pit. We found the dvd player, books, and record player charming. The farm is beautiful and we enjoyed the town of Londonderry. While the listed rules were a bit overwhelming, Ben and Loana were very kind and hospitable and easy to deal with (it was only surprising bc the rules had set a bit of a different tone). Absolutely beautiful campsite along a little pond. We had some surprise visits from a couple horses, Emily and Sunny, from a neighboring farm which put a great big smile on our faces. Dwayne, the man, the myth, the legend himself brought us two very large bags of wood which we happily burned throughout the cold night. Still one of my favorite sites for its convenience and scenery. Although the highway is right next to you, after a little bit it turns into white noise and helped me sleep like a baby. Thanks again for a great stay on our final trip of the year. See you guys next year!

Best site I've ever stayed at! Good amount of space between sites but still an easy walk to the kitchen+water, outhouses were clean and convenient with an excellent sense of interior decoration! We stayed at Birch Grove on a particularly cold, rainy, and windy Halloween weekend and Nick already had a large tarp set up over the easiest tent spot.... plus a cow skull and a few candles for the ambiance. Incredible site with multiple pitches spread out around the land. We were lucky enough to be put on the beat site...on site 7 (despite booking the field site). What a view and great facilities. Fit pit with grill for cooking whilst watching the stars and white mountains. Camp cooking kitchen and shower near the main house. Fire wood for sale. Compost toilet at each site. The only problem was we wished we could have stayed longer! Look out for the friendly moose and check out the little boat on the pond. Fab site 10/10.

This farm/campground, perched high above the valley, offers a beautiful landscape, private and spacious sites that can accommodate many, and clean portapotties (picture signs, decorative lights, air fresheners, bug spray, hand sanitizer, etc). It is easy to see that much care and thought has gone into the entire campground’s set up. I don’t know if there’s a section about the hosts so I’ll mention it here. Elle and Duane(Dwayne?) offer the exact hospitality one looks for when welcomed to any property. There aren’t enough words to express how much we all enjoyed the weekend.

This was the perfect “glamping” spot! Tara has the space supplied with everything you may need. We especially enjoyed cooking our dinner over the fire, and sleeping to the sounds of the wood stove burning at night. Be prepared for the sounds of wildlife (coyotes). We never encountered them and always felt safe, but could certainly hear them! We would definitely return to this spot.

Camp Ebb and Flow is located on the western edge of the White Mountains, near the crossing of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to VT. Three lakes nearby for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Its a 15 min drive from Okemo/Ludlow, 10min drive from the Appalachian trail (7.9 mile walk) and there are 3 other Ski resorts within an hour of us as well as numerous lakes and hiking trails. Just 2 miles up the road is Star Lake and the quaint town of Belmont. Our 7 acres sits on the Northside of Belmont hill. Half of it is open with several gardens to meander through. There is a medium pond in the back for swimming, a large fire pit for fires and but the Hip Shack comes with its own fire pit/grill combo. Wood bundle's are also available. There is a rudimentary outdoor toilet and shower. The shower can be filled with hot water using the faucet by the garage. All water from hoses, pump hoses and faucets is the same drinkable well water, collected from the many underground springs that also feed into the pond.

The land has over a half a mile of river frontage and several streams, a beautiful varied forest, rambling topography, and plenty of wildlife. Many lessons in tracking may be found as whitetails, moose, black bear, fishers, bobcats, porcupine, coyotes, foxes, mink, ermine, snowshoe hare, wild turkey, and ruffled grouse, are seen and tracked. Often times we are also lucky enough to catch a hawk circling the pasture and to hear the barred owls calls in the darkness of night. The diversity of plants, trees, and animals make this an ideal place to study and grow, or simply hang out in and experience.

This is one of the most beautiful places to live or visit in Vermont. My home for the past 40 years is right next to a stunning waterfall and brook. I love sharing this space with others. I have 3 separate campsites, each with their own pathways and privacy from each other. Your visit here will allow you many choices of ways to relax. My land abuts the 700 acres of school property behind me and I have trail and path access right from my yard to many miles of an old road bed for walking, biking, hiking, or exploring the length of the brook. There is a waterfall across the street. At least 5 different swimming holes and the water is cold and refreshing! I am 20 minutes from the state capital, Montpelier, Vt. You have access to my delicious pure clean spring water from the hose. There is a pizza/restaurant/bar in my town just 6 minutes away. Please, no fireworks, you'll get me banned by the town officials! If you camp here you will feel like you are in a forest, but will be able to drive anywhere with ease.

My home is the original Diers Homestead, established in 1940. It was named The Chicken Ranch in the 1960’s. There aren’t any chickens, but there are many forest creatures that wander out of the Green Mountain National Forest & into the meadow. You may see foxes, deer, moose, large marmots, and lots of different birds including wild turkeys & great blue herons. Apple trees of many varieties are scattered around. Come eat freely when they fruit! You’ll be camping on a hill with a fire ring nearby. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets are both visible as the meadow is open to the south, east & west. This is a special place in a perfect location. If you like to explore by foot, there’s a network of private hiking trails and a river to cool off in, both within 1/4 mile from your campsite. Also easily within walking distance is the village of Rawsonville: Ungrounded Coffee, Meulemans' Craft Draughts, Honeypie, Family Kitchen and Pizzeria, Mountain Riders, Equipe Sport & the Rawsonville Marketplace where you can get basic supplies and fuel. Speaking of fuel, if you really want to roll your wheels… Stratton Village is 8 minutes by car. Take a gondola ride to the top and check out the fire tower where you can see the entire lower half of Vermont state on a clear day. The village centers of Jamaica, Londonderry and Peru are also very close by and boast great food and crafts. And there’s always Manchester, if you’re seeking lots of shopping and fine dining. Horseback riding is a 15 minute drive from the campsite at Horses For Hire in Peru. This is a truly authentic experience. Trail rides for all abilities- even the “pony ride” for the little kids is a trail through the woods. Not to be missed! Also in Peru is Bromley Mountain which, during the summer months, becomes The Thrill Zone featuring a giant alpine slide. At Bee Well Homestead in Jamaica, there is authentic BBQ, live music and yoga every Sunday morning. The New American Grill in Londonderry has a wide selection of delicious food and their open mic night on Thursdays feature very talented local musicians. Even though it’s so close to all these uniquely wonderful people and their businesses, it is really just off a little country road - the best of both worlds!
