Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. There is a beautiful hike to a mountain lookout view of an amazing panoramic of lakes and mountains including Mt Washington and Pleasant Ski mountain. From 5 Kezars rd turn right onto Kezars Ridge Drive, the last camp road before the pavement ends.) At 0.6 miles keep right onto 5 Kezar Ridge Road. Look for a GLLT sign on the right. This is the Mountain Trail. There is a second access 0.5 miles farther west on 5 Kezar Ponds Road for Ron’s Loop. 2 Local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure.
Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs.
Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake. Only and 8 minute drive
Keoka lake has a nice beach with a dock to swim too. !0 minutes

Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking.
Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Camp fire grill on site if you prefer cooking over open flame. There are some battery operated light switches and solar lights in the camp and outhouse. WINTER CONDITIONS (when ground is frozen):

-There is NO running water from the well pump when the ground is frozen. The sink can be used with a bucket underneath. Bring extra water for washing.
-Really big storms can cause reservations to be rescheduled
-Extreme Cold Weather: When temperatures fall to 15 degrees or below, use the propane heater in the bunk room with the woodstove in the great room. Feed the wood stove every couple of hours.
Snowmobilers! You may have to unload your machines at the bottom of the hill to get your trucks up the hill with trailers hitched or leave trailers at the bottom of the hill in a plowed out parking area, ride the snowmobiles up separately.
-Shooting/Target practice is NO longer allowed due to lack of respect for safety by several sets of guests.

Looking behind as you drive up Coles Mountain to the land, you see views of Lake Willoughby and rolling mountains heading out to the horizon in the west. Majestic.
Once you have traveled 3 miles and gone up 1,700 feet from Lake Willoughby, you cross a land bridge over a stream and enter a private clearing ringed with tress and forest. This is an old orchard in the forest with an off-grid cabin. Cozy surroundings. Though you may hear others on surrounding properties, you don't see them. Cross another stream and the land goes back another 10 acres into deep forest. Magical.
Outdoor activities throughout the area include hiking, skiing and mountain biking at Burke Mountain, Kingdom Trails Association, Craftsbury Outdoor Center and local Vermont State Parks, as well as kayaking, swimming, and fishing on Lake Willoughby. Watch the sunset at Sentinel Rock.

Experience ultimate relaxation in a quiet, peaceful wooded setting on a 22-acre farmstead in the beautiful foothills of western Maine. There are two private glampsites, one off-grid cabin located 500-feet from our farmstead and the other a charming cottage with electricity, located in the heart of the property. We offer farmstead tours to visit our lush gardens and meet our herd of five super friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats, three pigs and flock of laying hens. (Fresh eggs and veggies from the garden are offered when available.) A pristine lake with excellent swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding is less than two miles away. Reading and napping in the hammock is highly recommended. The night skies are dark, so plan for dreamy stargazing in the zero gravity chairs. Hike into the hills on well-maintained logging roads.
Both cabins are made from pine trees that once stood on-site and have comfy queen-sized beds with luxurious bedding. Enjoy cooking over the campfire or in the fully equipped screened-in outdoor kitchens with two-burner gas stoves and grills. The glampsites include private outhouses and outdoor battery-powered showers. We provide amazing, mineral-rich drinking water from our ever-flowing spring and as much firewood as you need for campfires in the stone fire pits.

The cabin was built for me to steal away from the house and enjoy the wildlife, quiet, stars and silence. It is too peaceful to keep to myself so come and enjoy all that Norway Maine and the surrounding area has to offer!

Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking.
Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Camp fire grill on site if you prefer cooking over open flame. There are some battery operated light switches and solar lights in the camp and outhouse. Downtown Norway has quaint shops to browse! Norway Lake has a public beach and boat dock. Many hiking trails nearby-Noyes Mtn, Patch Mnt, Singpole and Streaked Mtn to name a few. ATV trails (also can be used for off-road biking)onsite connect with other towns for many miles and hours of riding. Plenty of lakes/rivers for kayaking. Casino, race track and breweries for night life. Oxford Hills has much to offer.

All Wheel Drive or 4WD is needed to access the cabin in winter and mud season.
WINTER CONDITIONS (when ground is frozen):
-4-wheel drive or All Wheel Drive needed.
-There is NO running water from the well pump when the ground is frozen. The sink can be used with a bucket underneath. Bring extra water for washing.
-Really big storms can cause reservations to be rescheduled
-Extreme Cold Weather: When temperatures fall to 15 degrees or below, use the propane heater in the bunk room with the woodstove in the great room. Feed the wood stove every couple of hours.
Snowmobilers! You may have to unload your machines at the bottom of the hill to get your trucks up the hill with trailers hitched or leave trailers at the bottom of the hill in a plowed out parking area, ride the snowmobiles up separately.
-Shooting/Target practice is NO longer allowed due to lack of respect for safety by several sets of guests.

Carter's Cross Country Ski Center and Shop has been a family-owned business since 1984. The land on which the trails have been built on has been in the Carter family since the late 1700's. The cabin is located 3 miles and 1,700 feet up from Lake Willoughby in the Town of Westmore. We invite you to stay!
Looking behind as you drive up Coles Mountain to the land, you see views of Lake Willoughby and rolling mountains heading out to the horizon in the west. Majestic.
Once you have traveled 3 miles and gone up 1,700 feet from Lake Willoughby, you cross a land bridge over a stream and enter a private clearing ringed with tress and forest. This is an old orchard in the forest with an off-grid cabin. Cozy surroundings. Though you may hear others on surrounding properties, you don't see them. Cross another stream and the land goes back another 10 acres into deep forest. Magical.
Outdoor activities throughout the area include hiking, skiing and mountain biking at Burke Mountain, Kingdom Trails Association, Craftsbury Outdoor Center and local Vermont State Parks, as well as kayaking, swimming, and fishing on Lake Willoughby. Watch the sunset at Sentinel Rock.

Nick is so great! We stayed on 12/20 at the Magick Cabin Adventure. It was so fun and cozy and a perfect weekend getaway. When we got there he offered to dive our stuff up on his snow mobile since it had snowed. Told us the story of what inspired him to build the Magick Cabin and it was so fun! I love how interactive the experience was. And Nicks ability to use every inch of space in that cabin was incredible. You can tell he put his all into it and all the tiny details. Was incredible to see. The best part was Chaga, his dog, he stayed up at the cabin all night making it feel super safe. He is very friendly and our 3 dogs loved him.

We had a wonderful time at the Magick Cabin! We booked the cabin for a weekend get away with the dogs, but never expected to have an “escape room” experience with the puzzles and clues Nick designed into the cabin. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun staying in the cabin and trying to solve the puzzles Nick thoughtfully integrated throughout the cabin!
We stayed on a cold night, but between sleeping bags and keeping the fire going, the cabin was warm throughout the night. Overall, we found the cabin to be cozy and inviting. There were sitting areas with beautiful view not to far from the cabin and the out house is a short walk. Chago checking up on us throughout the night was extremely precious and cemented the stay as a great experience.

Weekend Trip to Tuttles Homestead
Me and my boyfriend recently stayed at this cozy cabin for a long weekend, and it exceeded all expectations — peaceful, rustic, and beautifully nestled in nature. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and provided just the right level of comfort for a relaxing escape.
Mark was incredibly welcoming upon our arrival. He personally guided us to the cabin, which sits tucked away behind his home — far enough to feel private and secluded, yet close enough for easy access. He even provided us with firewood, which made our evenings by the fire especially cozy. Throughout our stay, he was respectful of our privacy but checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. His local recommendations were spot on and really helped us make the most of our time in the area.
There’s a full bathroom with a warm shower just a short walk down by the main house, which was convenient and added to the “off-grid but comfortable” charm of the stay.
Overall, a wonderful retreat for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We spent a few peaceful days at this cozy cabin, and it was just what I needed. Nestled in the woods but not too far from the main road it offered complete quiet—a perfect place to unplug and recharge. The surrounding land was beautifully kept (lots of dears) with a very clean rustic outhouse and a modern shower. Huge thanks to the Tuttles for hosting us—they’re truly wonderful people. If you get the chance to visit, definitely ask them about their 3D-printed toys. Such a fun surprise! We will definitely go back.
