Bug spray is recommended. Although black bears are generally shy and usually avoid humans, they are opportunistic and will search for human food supplies when natural foods are not available. Maintaining a sustainable bear population in New Hampshire depends on minimizing human-bear conflicts. It is illegal to intentionally feed bears in New Hampshire. Intentional feeding can create problems within residential areas and can result in fines. It also may threaten the life of the bear, if it becomes a nuisance animal as a result of this feeding. Please keep your food in your car when you are not at the site and when you are sleeping. The property has views of Mount Martha and the Presidential Mountain Range. There are easy walking trails throughout the property. There is a field to play games; Soccer, wiffle ball, corn hole and yard croquet can be used. Just ask We are within 25 mins of Lancaster, Jefferson, Littleton, and Bethlehem. Small town bars, restaurants, breweries and one of a kind views of mountains, lakes, rivers and wildlife. This is the Mountain Trail. There is a second access 0.5 miles farther west on 5 Kezar Ponds Road for Ron’s Loop. Here is a link for all Lovell Land trust trails: https://www.gllt.org/five-kezars-reserve 2 Local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs. Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake. We are happy to help you with your gear and have a couple of wheelbarrows and sometimes an ATV. So unless you want to RV/truck/car camp at the trailhead (definitely an option), it is tent-only camping on the lakeshore and garden sites. Please don't ask if you can drive your vehicle right down to the site---we don't even drive our own down. However you decide to arrive, we are happy to guide you at no extra charge. We do have cellular phone service on site and shoreline but NOT on the logging road in. [There is unfortunately no way for us to make the property accessible for guests who need the use of personal mobility equipment. Private campsite located in rural Lovell Maine. Set up your tent in the soft pine forest or in the wildflower fields. A large picnic table, fire pit and outhouse can accommodate 2-6 campers. The beautiful Lovell Town Beach is a 3 minute walk from the campsite. Two canoes are available to borrow near the boat launch. Our tent and yurt sites are located on 5 acres of private woods and are 4 acres apart to allow for maximum privacy for our guests! Parking for both sites are shared. The tent is 50 yards up a rustic wooded path through the woods and the yurt is an 800 yard (10 minute) uphill walk from the parking area. Both sites are adjacent to our local network of hiking/biking trails that connect to the summit of Mount Agassiz, which offers stunning views of Franconia Notch. Additionally, within a half hour drive, you have access to some of the best hiking in the North East. We are happy to provide recommendations! The surrounding towns are home to three different breweries, numerous restaurants serving up delicious food and quaint main streets. Through the generous permission of surrounding landowners and the stewardship of the Bethlehem Trails Association, guests can access this trail network to enjoy the views from the summit of Mount Agassiz for top notch single-track mountain biking. We live one town over and are just a phone call away. If you walk the trails, you may encounter a friendly neighbor's dog but all our guests enjoy the privacy and solitude the mountain provides. Weekend Trip to Secluded Camp Convenient Location

We enjoyed getting out into the woods and staying on Ryan's property. Unfortunately, they had experienced a significant snowfall the night before our arrival. So this spot wasn't reachable in our campervan. But, Ryan went above and beyond to get us set up at another site close by. The location to Loon and the surrounding area at either site is fantastic and we plan on returning in the spring to explore more!

Awesome location and Ryan is a great host and good communicator. We stayed in February after multiple snow falls and he had it plowed out enough to easily fit our camper and truck. Great location and very quiet. Definitely coming back, would love to use the fire pit when it’s not snowed in!

We had such a great time at the yurt and exploring the property with our two dogs! Morgan did a great job of showing us everything we needed to know for our stay. The yurt itself is absolutely beautiful and truly makes you feel like you’re sleeping in nature. The location that they chose to build the yurt provides an amazing view of the mountains right out the front window. We opted to use the wood-fired hot tub while we were there and it was a fantastic experience. Although the wood stove was out of commission during our stay, the space heaters that were provided were more than enough to keep the yurt toasty, even during the cold late November nights. We would gladly come back again!

The site was lovely and as expected - riverside with a picnic table and a nice wide flat surface for setting up our 2-person tent. As described, it is a fairly steep (but wide) path to get down to the site, though we managed even after dark with head lamps on and a slow pace. There is a shared fire pit for all three sites at one of the sites. The privy was clean, well maintained, and centrally located. The host, Abi, was responsive and provided detailed information about how to get to the site, the expectations, and amenities.

I loved camping on Lori's land. All the glamping tents are very private, and you have to walk about 100 yards from the car, so there is no noise at all. The outhouse was super clean and so cool inside. The bed in the tent was very comfortable and had enough room for the dog as well. The land is beautiful with North Conway only a 30 min drive for great food and coffee! I highly recommend this Hip Camp!

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and had such a relaxing time. You’re truly alone (aside from a neighbor going by a couple times a day, but that wasn’t a big deal. If anything, it was comfort just in case any emergencies happened.) It was incredibly peaceful with the sound of the stream. A beautiful walk up to a gorgeous pond with a small mountain in the distance. Nice campfire with a grate that swivels for cooking over the fire. The platform you can set your tent up on was fantastic! The site would be a great spot for star gazing because of the lack of light pollution, but it was cloudy every night for us. We will most certainly be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Hidden Pines! Chris and Ellen were incredibly accommodating — they communicated clearly, respected our privacy, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The hookups worked perfectly — clean water with great pressure, and everything was easy to access and set up. The location is absolutely beautiful, tucked into the woods yet close to everything in the White Mountains. The site was level, peaceful, and ideal for our camper. We’ll definitely be visiting again.
