Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Moose, deer, and bear tracks are common, but animal encounters are not - still, please sequester your food accordingly and be mindful to carry out scraps or place them in lidded containers provided.

I really enjoyed my stay. The place felt so peaceful and relaxing, and the mountain views were beautiful. I also liked the toilet setup. The only downside was that I couldn’t figure out how to use the shower properly—it always gave me hot water, and it was too hot. Even so, I still had a great time. I especially loved the skylight window; it was a really nice touch.

What a beautiful place to “rough it!” The yurt was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and in a very picturesque location (on a mountain top). Shannon was super easy to work with, very communicative, and oh so helpful! Even the outhouse was a new/unique experience- super clean, high tech, and odor free. Wish we could’ve stayed there longer and will definitely plan to in the future.

Everything was as advertised or better! The Safari Tent site is very private and quiet. The “loo” is sparkling clean and the site was very well equipped. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The sight had the most serene view of a waterfall. It was a very large & private area that included everything needed for a wonderful camping experience. The hosts also provided so many so many little accessories ie inflatable tubes, dog line, rain ponchos, fire lighters etc. this site provided a wonderful camping experience without doing all the work.

There were sites on either sides of us but it wasn't too loud at all and still felt private, everything was very clean and the instructions provided were very clear. Donna and Sam were great. Loved that there was wood on site for the fire pit, we really just had to show up with food, everything else was provided and thought of. I will say the horse trailer was very cozy and we loved the views of the pond, but I will say it can get loud if it is raining! If you don't mind that, it's a great, clean and cozy place to stay.

Loved my stay in the Magick Cabin! Of all of my stays at Sacred Nectar, what struck me the most about this spot is the thought and detail put into it. Even though the weather ended up being quite rainy, there was no better place to experience it. You can see and hear the rain pattering the roof from the loft bed.

We absolutely loved our stay on Streeter Mountain's land. We stayed in the treehouse. It was so private and absolutely gorgeous. It was by far our favorite place to stay through Hipcamp so far and we have stayed in several places.

Weekend Trip to Rest Farm
The Riley was so great and very homey. Plenty of accommodations and was warm enough on the cool night with the wood fire place. Would absolutely recommend and book again.

2 nights at Streeter Mountain Farm
We were looking for a quiet getaway to unplug and be outside and this place offered exactly that. Be ready to walk a little ways from the parking to the tree house, but this wasn’t an issue for us. Lots of nice walkable hiking trails, a communal fire we were able to use, and even a cool farm cat that loved hanging out with us!
