Tent Platform Site 1 @ Hummingbird
Magical Place!
This place is simply magical!!! My wife and I came to tent camp for a night while we hiked in the Franconia Notch area and we left thankful for having met Josh and his team, having discovered a beautiful, whimsical, farm where an example of sustainability, service and fun is alive and well. We set up our tent on platform #1 with a fabulous view of the field, the chickens and the mountains behind. We were lucky to have been on Memorial Day weekend because they had just opened the food truck and there was an excellent band playing music on their open stage! The house is amazing with a huge yoga room, several family rooms for rent and an awesome and beautifully built library which can also be rented as a room. Wandering the grounds we discovered all sorts of interesting spots including a funky ‘outdoor kitchen’, a swimming hole, multiple permaculture gardens and green houses, and even a wood burning hot tub which we enjoyed in the evening with Josh and a few of the team. The Hummingbird Center is HIGHLY Recommended and we will definitely be back again, and again!!!!

Meadow Camp Site 8 @ Hummingbird
So lovely and easy tent camping with a group of 10 at the Hummingbird Center! Josh at the center helped us find a more private and spacious plot a bit further into the woods that had a big clearing. I was also able to drive my car to the spot through some back trails. We came late for a cookout but the staff made us a delicious dinner on the spot (remember, this was for 10 people) and we also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would definitely camp here again, regardless of whether I'm solo or with a group!

Love this stay!
Loved staying at the Hummingbird Center! You know it’s a good spot when you take a dirt road to get there and are surrounded by trees. Beautiful sunset view and scenery for this farm stay. Lovely staff and community building with usable bathrooms, you can pay for a shower, meet new people, hangout with the chickens and roosters. Great place to look at the stars by the communal fire pit. Memorial Day weekend there was dinner and breakfast offered every day a BIG BONUS! Great to support a local organic farm. The tent platforms are first come first serve and don’t align with what they look like on the map here however all are great locations. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper with the roosters in the morning. Safe space for solo travelers!

Hidden Gem!
What a hidden gem! This is more than a place to pitch a tent. There is a large beautiful house on site with restaurant with fantastic meals, yoga studio, wood-fired hot tub, and solar shower (free and warm!). Upstairs there is a reading library open to guests. But the best part is the amazing trail network that connects to Greenwood mtn trails. The staff are super helpful and welcoming and even rode with me my first night there. Fires in the evening and there was a BBQ and live music as well. I would definitely go back again. Check this place out and definitely plan on eating there and making a full weekend out of it! Kid-friendly as well.

Meadow Camp Site 10 @Hummingbird
We recommend!
We so enjoyed camping here! The staff were all welcoming and accommodating, the land was beautiful, and the food was fresh delicious! We felt safe staying here and enjoyed the community feel. Centrally located so you can easily access adventures. The wifi and indoor bathroom availability were a plus. Great for first time or seasoned campers. Heads up the Meadow gets a lot of morning sun, pro or con depending on your persuasion. We would come back!
