Attractions: Walking distance to forestry service roads. 15 minutes to the Missoula Airport and an additional 10 minutes to the heart of Missoula and all it has to offer. If you are looking for more adventure there is always an endless amount of recreation near, whether you want to drive 5 minutes to mountain bike or 3 hours to Glacier National Park, there is something for everyone! Parking: Reserved parking for guests in the main driveway or in the clearing near the cabin.
Water: Portable toilet onsite, sealson warm shower and sink also available, we recently upgraded to a JOOLCA hot water system so guests can have running water and a warm outdoor shower. The yurt is a beautiful open space utilized weekly for local yoga classes and private events. The space is therefore not set up with bedding; guests should bring their own camping pads, cots, sleeping bags, etc. A pro to staying here is that the space comes stocked with yoga props for stretching in the evening while you arrive, sitting and gathering, or maybe doing a private yoga class before you leave in the morning. Feel free to message us and book a private sound therapy, Reiki or yoga session while you are at the property! There is nice view of the valley surrounding, and a trail leading up into the woods behind the yurt to walk on. Wild turkeys, deer, elk and eagles right outside your door. There is a woodstove inside for cooler nights that we can instruct folks who feel comfortable to use, and a small firepit out front.
Facilities: Outside, in front of the yurt, there is a back-to-back outhouse and hand washing station available for guests, stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap. An insulated out-building sits just to the west of the yurt entrance, right where the dirt driveway turns toward the yurt itself when you drive up. The out-building is equipped as a kitchenette, and includes a refrigerator, electric kettle and coffee maker. Please note: there is no running water inside this building, however we will have a 5 gallon jug of well water set up in a water dispenser for you to access there. We ask guests to clean up after themselves in these spaces. The handwashing area is set up for rinsing off dishes while you're here as well. We will make sure to provide a dish tub, cleaning supplies, enough dishes, utensils and mugs for up to 8 people (or compostable picnicware if necessary at the time of rental).
Note about the train: There are train tracks that run along the river in front of our property. The tracks are dropped down low enough that you can just see the top of the train, with trees also blocking the sound. The train will only sound its horn here if there are animals on the tracks, a fairly rare occurrence after four years living here. All in all, it isn't bothersome feature to most who stay, and we've had positive feedback from renters. It still feels fair to note.

Geof really is a super-star host and his land is a dream! We stayed in the A Frame right next to the creek and listened to the water and owls hooting at night. We loved watching piggies, petting donkeys and playing with the sweet dogs. Geof was super accommodating and we can’t wait to go back!

The dome glamping experience was wonderful! The interior of the bison decor was very cute and the perfect set up for my two gal friends and I. Beautiful view of the plains and river, both from inside the dome and the wooden porch it sits on. The propane heater was much appreciated, and took the chill off inside the dome. Trina was a terrific host, greeting us when we first arrived and showed us to our dome. She made sure we had what we needed, and has done a great job setting up her property. Fantastic getaway for us gals!!

I booked at the last moment, late in the evening and Trina (and her awesome son, Steele) was there to greet us right as we arrived. They showed us to the dome and brought us a several gallon jug of water to use.
The buck dome was perfect with comfortable beds. There was a BBQ available to cook our dinner on so we didn't have to dig out our camp stoves. Clean shared portapotty and hot shower a short walk away. Trina thought of everything needed for a nice glamping stay on a gorgeous property.
The views do not disappoint and Trina was so fun to chat with and filled with fantastic recommendations for places well outside of montana that are on our itenerary. Next time we come to Montana we will be sure to book a stay.

My wife and I loved staying in the Bigfoot dome. We wish we started out road trip with this stay instead of making it our last stop so we could stay longer. The views are absolutely incredible and there were cows and deer wandering right outside. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing and the stars at night are incredible. Host is very nice and informative about things to do in the area and we'll definitely recommend and visit again.

We were fortunate enough to enjoy an amazing thunder and lightning storm and the dome provided outstanding views of the lightning! Morning views were incredible. The deer were a bonus. We loved our time at Sanctuary Farm. The farm itself is on a private road, off a minor country road in a heavily treed area - The drive there is spectacular. You know you are in for something special! The yurt was placed well away from the owner's home, which gave lots of privacy and the night sky is DARK, so perfect for stargazing. The composting sawdust outhouse was a short walk from the yurt & surprisingly pleasant - no odor or flies and plenty of ventilation. 1000 times nicer than a port-o-potty. The solar heated camp shower provided by the host worked great. Just be sure to shower in the evening after the water has had all day to heat up! The optional breakfast was delish - definitely worth the cost & we ate out for our other meals, so never used the outdoor kitchen. We enjoyed our time here & would definitely recommend it to others seeking a stay off-the-beaten path.

We stayed in the dry cabin while traveling home from our hiking trip. It was perfect! Cody and his family were very welcoming, to include his dog! The cabin itself is amazing! It’s clean and well taken care of. There is also a little seating area down by the creek to hang out and enjoy the sounds of nature. We also saw a ton of deer around. I would 10/10 stay here again.

Great place to crash for the night solo or couple. Unit has a/c and ceiling fan, theres a hammock outside, fire pit, 1 queen bed, working outlets and my T-Mobile service worked well. No shower, toilet is a bucket in a tent, big Airbnb house nearby their guests kept coming over to ask me if they could pet my horse fyi if you mind that kinda thing.
