We live on 10 acres of mixed forest and field. In the summer we have an active blacksmithing school and flower farm here. The idea of a sustainable, self reliant lifestyle has always been part of our life and passing it down to others is a joy for us. We sustainably manage our food and forest to be the best stewards we can for our environment and our neighbors. Our Cabin and structures were built primarily of materials that were recycled or milled on site. which makes them warm and inviting. The Cabin is located close to our shop which houses an active blacksmithing school in the summer months where the rest of the structures are separate and in an area tucked away on the edge of the woods. Jeffrey and Betsy work to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Please note there are no pets as the wildlife could be disturbed..both human and otherwise, thanks. We maintain a small orchard of fruit trees, a garden which feeds us year round and a small flower farm on the property. Avid skiers, bikers, paddlers and hikers, offering the property for others to enjoy was a conscious decision made when planning all of our infrastructure. Come and enjoy all the beautiful Flathead Valley has to offer.

On 2 acres within walking distance of downtown Kalispell and a short drive to Glacier National Park, we offer comfortable tipis that can sleep from 2-4 people. The tipis are equipped with a queen-sized air mattress and bedding, a power box and lighting and a table and chair. You have access to picnic tables, a fire pit and a good selection of yard games like croquet and corn-hole to name a few. The acreage is surrounded on three sides by Ashley Creek and boasts a unique covered bridge and awe-inspiring grandmother Willow trees. Beautiful downtown Kalispell is an easy 10-minute walk. There you'll find local breweries with live music, a local ice cream shop, a variety of restaurants and shops. Parking is not right next to the tipis, but we have a wagon to help get your things from your vehicle to your tipi. Under the bridge is where you'll find our games, including croquet, badminton, Frisbee and Frisbee games, Bocce ball and Wiffle golf balls and clubs. We also have extra bedding and air mattresses in a secure chest. Remember that you'll be camping in a field. We've done our level best to keep the tipis clean and clear of pests, but it is a natural environment, so there is a non-zero chance that you'll run across some dirt, grass, thistles, or a multi-legged friend. You might even get an unwanted gift from a bird. If any of that needs to be gone, you can access a broom and leaf blower on the bridge, or you can find one of us on the property and we'll take care of it for you. Thank you for your understanding!

The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

Only about 5-7 min from nearest grocery store, it’s a convenient location with a pleasant drive to Glacier National Park. Car camping, tent camping and if you are hauling a horse trailer, trailers welcome. There is a tiny house nearby that you are welcome to use for laundry, bathroom and kitchenette. Very simple set up, just field parking and camping... nothing fancy.

Tucked inside Bad Rock Canyon, the Magic School Bus offers a one-of-a-kind getaway just outside Glacier National Park. Visitors have the chance to stay in a yellow retrofitted bus with a cozy queen bed, small indoor living space with a couch, desk, and a full kitchen. From the windows of the bus enjoy the buzzing of the bees in the wildflower garden, or step outside under the cottonwood trees to enjoy the fresh air on your private outdoor patio. Bad Rock Canyon naturally shields the area from much of Flathead Valley’s light pollution and on a clear night, offers incredible Big Sky stargazing just outside your door. The property is designed with the environment in mind – everything is solar powered, and many materials have been upcycled, recycled, and reused. Guests have a private entrance, shower and composting toilet. The property is about a 10 minute drive from the west entrance of Glacier National Park, 10 minutes from Hungry Horse Dam and Reservoir, 25 minutes from Glacier Park International Airport, and 25 minutes from Whitefish. You won’t forget your time in this well-appointed tent with a roomy deck and beautiful view of Big Arm Bay. Enjoy the view as you relax on the deck or cook a meal with the Blackstone. This is a 20'x13' wall tent from Idaho on an elevated deck with hardwood floors. It has a 6' shaded deck with high table seating that looks over the lake and back yard. Three walls are framed for more comfort. There is a bathhouse with a toilet, a shower, and laundry for the GlampCamp occupants. There is a vacation house that can also be rented, on the same property, but the privacy fence and yard are a good buffer zone. GlampCamp's private space is the deck behind the privacy fence. Jim Creek Cozy Cabin & RV w/ Hookup

19. Jim Creek Cozy Cabin & RV w/ Hookup

28mi from Flathead National Forest · 1 site
Forest Service Boundary property. Campsite with 2 Units totaling 2 queens, 1 full, 2 doubles. Adjacent the Mission Mountains, Peck Lake Road is a rare foothills through route with access to hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and exploring! Along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route GDMBR (bikepacking route) on Peck Lake Road, in the Swan Valley, Montana, a short walk to Jim Creek for a crisp plunge. This hard sided campsite hosts a Remodeled Dry cabin with Power and Queen-Double bunk bed, dining table with chairs and a covered porch. The Second Living Unit is a well kept 2018, Jayco travel trailer with slide-out that sleeps 4 comfortably (up to 6), and has full utilities (water/power/sewer) and includes A/C, 3 burner range, microwave, bathroom with standup shower (5 gallon RV water heater), outdoor shower, private master with RV Queen mattress. The rear living setup allows for a large living/dining/kitchen area. The futon folds down into a full bed, and the dinette drops into a double futon 4” pad for extra campers or sleeping separately. This private parcel shares a forest service boundary on one side, and is adjacent the road on the other, but the cabin and RV are set as close to the FS boundary as possible and there is a large, 1 acre clearing with plenty of additional parking areas. Enjoy the forest service access and nearby Jim Creek with public access just across the bridge. Check out the pair of nesting Common Loons at Peck Lake. Get out of the tent and enjoy a cozy night inside. Outdoor string lighting and an adjacent forest service campfire ring makes your evenings something to remember. Minutes to other local trailheads and public land and water way access. Notes: There is plenty of additional parking, but no additional RV hookups. Tent camping is not recommended at this site, nor is outdoor cooking since there is a high density of bears in the area, but campers are welcome to stay and there is room inside the dry cabin for your gear! If additional, covered storage is needed for 1 or 2 bikes, please contact the host for access to the small storage shed. Bring your bear spray. Store all food and trash inside the hard sided cabin or RV in the provided containers.
