We have an off grid ranch on 161 acres bordered by the Kootenai National Forest and Lake Koocanusa just down the dirt road. It's very wooded but does have a few open meadows. The lake has a great beach front for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, etc. There's a boat launch 3 miles away for bigger boats or pontoons. Our property also provides direct access to hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, horse trail riding, biking, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. Trail riding is available to experienced riders only. We do not have docile horses that walk a worn in trail. You must show confidence and control over a large animal that may spook at a moments notice. Trail rides are only conducted by appointment weeks in advance when the property owners are present.The owners are endurance riders and are often away competing. If you are not experienced you can still interact with the horses by feeding, petting, grooming, learning horsemanship skills, riding in a controlled round pen or arena. No matter what you do you will be happy with your horse experience. Oh, don't forget the Nigerian Dwarf goats. They love people too. Want to bring your own horse? On 2 acres within walking distance of downtown Kalispell and a short drive to Glacier National Park, we offer comfortable tipis that can sleep from 2-4 people. The tipis are equipped with a queen-sized air mattress and bedding, a power box and lighting and a table and chair. You have access to picnic tables, a fire pit and a good selection of yard games like croquet and corn-hole to name a few. The acreage is surrounded on three sides by Ashley Creek and boasts a unique covered bridge and awe-inspiring grandmother Willow trees. Beautiful downtown Kalispell is an easy 10-minute walk. There you'll find local breweries with live music, a local ice cream shop, a variety of restaurants and shops. Parking is not right next to the tipis, but we have a wagon to help get your things from your vehicle to your tipi. Under the bridge is where you'll find our games, including croquet, badminton, Frisbee and Frisbee games, Bocce ball and Wiffle golf balls and clubs. We also have extra bedding and air mattresses in a secure chest. Remember that you'll be camping in a field. We've done our level best to keep the tipis clean and clear of pests, but it is a natural environment, so there is a non-zero chance that you'll run across some dirt, grass, thistles, or a multi-legged friend. You might even get an unwanted gift from a bird. Our 2 cabins and one campsite are located in a small clearing surrounded by a forest of tall trees, next to Good Creek and expansive meadows on a 350 acre property which you are free to explore. Located roughly halfway between Kalispell and Eureka, we’re an hour’s drive from Glacier Park. There are many lakes and trails off the beaten path that are closer. Ten Lakes Scenic Area is 60 miles to the north. Good Creek Meadows is off grid and cell service is spotty - a great place to relax and enjoy nature. No shower, but a toilet (water flushing compost system) and camp kitchen are available for two cabins and one campsite to share. The sites are generously spaced and feel private. Each cabin has a hammock, deck, and cafe table and chairs. There is also a shared picnic table and campfire ring to use when conditions are safe. We’re happy to advise on ways to take advantage of the many outdoor recreation opportunities in the area, as well as how to explore the property without getting lost:)

We are located in the center of Flathead Valley on a small 10-acre farm with our Highland and Dexter cows, Kune Kune pigs, Nigerian goats, free-range chickens, ducks, and turkeys. We have an almost 360-degree view of the Valley. We offer 100-amp full hookups on the property. The property is surrounded by other farms, giving you the feeling of being out in the country but with all the amenities near by. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets daily! We are just 10 minutes away from Hutton Ranch shopping, 20 minutes from Whitefish, and 45 minutes from West Glacier. Additionally, we have a trailer available for rent, set up on one of the four sites, in case you don't feel like hauling yours.

We had the yurt for 4 nights, very nice back yard, the yurt was awesome, you are close to a main road, so there is traffic noise, but it’s a great central location to hit Glacier and to check out whitefish, when in whitefish get the nachos and only the nachos from the craggy range, it’s literally a mountain of nachos and cheese and tons of toppings, probably the best we have ever had anywhere in the US, and we get a lot of nachos

The dome itself is huge inside, well furnished with everything you could need, the window side and top are awesome. Trina was great, we could've chatted all night, and cares so much about the place! I very much enjoyed this site. It was nice to come back from a full day in Glacier and have a comfy place set up for you. The yurt was very comfortable to stay in and had a cute little electric fireplace. As a matter of fact, if you like a soft bed, it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in in ages. The cot is less comfy, but an extra camping pad makes a difference. Pro: The host was responsive. Port-a-pottys were clean, in general. (see the con) Con: No potable water on site (pack it in) and you can hear the highway (not too busy). The port-a-potty was not full but it must have sat there awhile due to being off season. Should be good during normal touristy season. :)

The dome glamping experience was wonderful! The interior of the bison decor was very cute and the perfect set up for my two gal friends and I. Beautiful view of the plains and river, both from inside the dome and the wooden porch it sits on. The propane heater was much appreciated, and took the chill off inside the dome. Trina was a terrific host, greeting us when we first arrived and showed us to our dome. She made sure we had what we needed, and has done a great job setting up her property. Fantastic getaway for us gals!!

We spent 3 nights in the yurt here. It rained quite a bit and the temperatures got pretty chilly, but the yurt had an electric heater, that kept us more than comfortable. 2 adults, 2 children under 10 and our dog. We had plenty of room outside to cook and hang out. The yurt was thoughtfully arranged to feel plenty spacious and comfortable for the 5 of us. You cannot beat the location of this hipcamp. We spent 3 days in the park, but it is conviently close to Kalispell and Whitefish as well. We will definitely stay again.

I booked at the last moment, late in the evening and Trina (and her awesome son, Steele) was there to greet us right as we arrived. They showed us to the dome and brought us a several gallon jug of water to use. The buck dome was perfect with comfortable beds. There was a BBQ available to cook our dinner on so we didn't have to dig out our camp stoves. Clean shared portapotty and hot shower a short walk away. Trina thought of everything needed for a nice glamping stay on a gorgeous property. The views do not disappoint and Trina was so fun to chat with and filled with fantastic recommendations for places well outside of montana that are on our itenerary. Next time we come to Montana we will be sure to book a stay.

My wife and I loved staying in the Bigfoot dome. We wish we started out road trip with this stay instead of making it our last stop so we could stay longer. The views are absolutely incredible and there were cows and deer wandering right outside. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing and the stars at night are incredible. Host is very nice and informative about things to do in the area and we'll definitely recommend and visit again.

Loved the Bison Dome and can’t wait to go back! Had a thunder/lightning storm that gave incredible views. Everything you need is offered and wildlife roaming around made for a great visit!!

Really enjoyed the Bison Dome! 4 of us stayed and we were very comfortable and had lots of elbow room. We were fortunate enough to enjoy an amazing thunder and lightning storm and the dome provided outstanding views of the lightning! Morning views were incredible. The deer were a bonus. We will definitely be back to check this out again. Trina is an awesome host for sure.
