Near Glacier National Park
Within a 60-minute drive from the West Glacier Entrance.
a. Choice of Two gravel parking spots near our home, set back from the road (see photos) or a 17-foot travel trailer tucked into the woods behind our house. Enjoy 4 acres of forest with walking paths and numerous young fruit trees. We're just 5 minutes from Blanchard Lake, a 10-minute bike ride or 5-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, 30 minutes from the West Glacier entrance, and 20 minutes from Kalispell. For guests with their own RV or camper, 110-volt power is available (solar panels with grid backup). Well water is available. It is not recommended for drinking, though it is fine for bathing and washing. An outdoor table is also available. Please provide your own bathroom . To respect our neighbors, no generators are permitted. We prefer you use our electrical system. For guests staying in our travel trailer, we provide 1 gallon of drinking water per person per day in jugs. There is no indoor bathroom in the trailer, but a simple outhouse is located in the woods nearby. Wildlife sightings are common, with white-tailed deer visiting most nights, along with wild turkeys and the occasional red or silver-tipped fox.

Choice of two places to park your RV, either in front of the solar shed or perpendicular to the house (you will be the only guest using an RV site; you get to choose which spot you'd like to park in). Near level gravel surface. There will be 110v extension cord you may use if you like. Well and hose are about 100 feet away. Use your own self contained toilet. Outside table available. No generators after 900 pm to respect neighbors.

Camper Trailer

Tucked into the edge of the trees near the walking trail, behind the house. Near the well spigot. 110v extension cord plugged in. Propane stove and oven, electric fridge and freezer. Blender, dishes, the kitchen basics. Beds have memory foam toppers. 1 gallon per person per day drinking water provided by jugs in the travel trailer. No inside campervan bathroom available. Simple outhouse in woods. Composting outhouse about 15-20 paces from camper. No animals allowed in camper trailer. Whitetail deer most nights, wild turkeys and red fox from time to time. Inquire with questions; we are new to hosting.

Hammock Tent (1 person)

Hennessy Hammock Expedition model, with mosquito netting enclosure, and rain fly if needed/desired. A great addition if you are renting the big tree tent but want your own space (away from the kids perhaps?) Single person only, and if you are more than 6 feet tall (or 250 pounds) you might consider sleeping in the big tree tent instead. Bring your own bedding and pillow, or we can provide sleeping bag and pillow, just let us know.

Tree Tent (large), hammock

Walk through the woods to reach this quite, secluded getaway in the forest. Double-decker tree tent stack, sleeps up to 6 people, three on each level. Uses the Tentsile Safari Stingray and Trillium stack, with mosquito netting enclosure, and optional rain fly if needed. If there are 3 or fewer of you and you only want the tree tent without the lower level stack enclosure, just let us know and we can configure it that way instead. Well hydrant is about 50 paces away; not recommended for drinking. Simple composting toilet is about 30 paces away. Bring your own bedding. Look up video about the Tentsile tree tents or we can send you a link if you have questions.
