Kevin’s property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. He’s incredibly humble considering what he’s created here! He has a very strong bond with his animals, which is beautiful. Kevin allowed us to feed and interact with all of the animals and it was so wonderful to see how much he loves them! We had everything we needed. The bathroom and shower were fantastic and the river was lovely. Absolutely would recommend this stay to anyone!!!

This place is wonderful! We had a really comfortable nights here. Shower rooms and toilets are very clean. Just 10 minutes to West Glacier entrance. We’ll comeback for sure!!!

The road is very close & a railroad as well, so you can hear vehicles throughout the night but everything else was absolutely seamless! Terri is a wonderful host and has EVERYTHING from towels to Q-Tips, firewood to pots & pans. If you’re looking for a convenient spot near west glacier, this is it!

Literally perfect! It was my first solo camp night with my dog and I felt comfortable pretty immediately. The campsites are near enough to others that I knew I wasn’t alone but I also felt like I was on my own. We car camped but could have pitched my tent. The bathrooms were super clean and heated. My dog was welcomed just the same as myself. We even made a friend at one of the tent sites and plan to stay in touch and visit one another across country! (Her dog ran up to say hi to my dog)! I couldn’t be more pleased with the location, the host, and other campers. The views were incredible too! And we didn’t do it but I was told there is a mile walk to the river where my dog could have swam. If you’re hesitating, don’t! I definitely want to come back sometime and explore everywhere around here and make this my home base. If you don’t like a late night then this place isn’t for you because of the music venue. But otherwise you get to hear a concert for free which is nifty!

We loved our stay there. The weather was not as cooperative, but the family made a point of giving us a better option to help us stay out of the worst of the weather. My kids had a great time and the location was perfect. We were able to spend the whole day at Yellowstone and camp near conveniences of town while being away from at all.

We had a great time at Jammin Jackalope Camping! Both the site and amenities were wonderful, and the host was available, friendly, and helpful throughout! Would highly recommend (especially the incredible bathrooms/showers!)

8 nights at Leaning Tree Campground

It was a nice campground with nice facilities (bathroom/shower house). It did not have any bear boxes for tent campers, but the dogs do a good job keeping away the bears. With that being said, the dogs will sometimes get in your business and jump up on picnic tables. Overall, it is a good place to stay. The East side of Glacier is currently the best side to stay as there are no entry reservations on Going to the Sun road and this campground is close to St. Mary's, Many Glacier, and Two Medicine.

Well the weather didn’t cooperate but having a nuggly cabin like the crooked love shack was perfect for my partner and I. ❤️

Really enjoyed Colter’s spot. Property was well kept, bathrooms were awesome (better than our last Airbnb), music was tons of fun to sit and listen to in the back woods area. Cute little stream. Nice dogs. Even offered us a few free beers. Will stay again for next excursion into area.

1 night at Mile High Mountain Homestead

Wow! What an amazing site! Do NOT pass this one up! Beautiful getaway in the backwoods woods of Montana. The outdoor kitchen and hot tub made the experience special. We loved the beautiful water front tent porch and the view was spectacular! The owners were the best! 5 Star hospitality, personality and care. You won’t be disappointed.

Pam’s campsite was incredible! We stayed for 5 nights and loved every bit. The views were stunning for late night campfires, the port-a potty and outdoor shower were very clean (stocked with tissues and fresh towels every day), and Pam was so fun to talk to. She was helpful with suggesting places to visit and even lent us a can opener. We loved having a great view and feeling like we had enough space, but also loved being close to town and only a ~30 minute drive to the park. 10/10 stay! We are on our way back home now, but just talked about how we’d love to rent out the whole site with friends in the future. Book this site!

The Holmestead is a rustic dry cabin on 5 acres nestled between Mill Creek and a seasonal run off stream with easy access to the highway and only a 10 min drive to Missoula. A queen bed, futon and air mattress are available for sleeping! Family and pet friendly property with plenty of space to pitch a tent next to the cabin if you have more guests in your party (tents will be an additional fee, $10 per person in addition to the 4 person cabin max). Excellent cell service if you have Verizon or carriers that pull from those towers. Attractions: Walking distance to forestry service roads. 15 minutes to the Missoula Airport and an additional 10 minutes to the heart of Missoula and all it has to offer. If you are looking for more adventure there is always an endless amount of recreation near, whether you want to drive 5 minutes to mountain bike or 3 hours to Glacier National Park, there is something for everyone! If you have questions about fun things to do please reach out to us! Parking: Reserved parking for guests in the main driveway or in the clearing near the cabin. Water: Portable toilet onsite, sealson warm shower and sink also available, we recently upgraded to a JOOLCA hot water system so guests can have running water and a warm outdoor shower. We provide 5 gal of potable water in the colder months and have running water nearby for easy refill of water containers if needed in the warmer months. We do have 2 very frienly dogs that roam the property freely, if you pet is reactive please let us know so we can monitor our dogs when letting them outside to do their business. Though this is a new listing on Hipcamp, I've been hosting on another platform since 2017 with consistently stellar reviews. I’ve decided to switch to Hipcamp because it seems like a better fit for my low key, rustic offerings. My one acre property is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded mostly by uninhabited lots. There are two wall tent listings, and the kitchen and bathroom facilities are communal. I also live on property with my two dogs. Daisy is a pit mix and Frodo is a Pyrenees/Anatolian mix livestock guardian dog. They are friendly and like to hang out in my fenced backyard. Frodo does bark at night to ward off bears and other unwanted visitors. There is also a train nearby that runs all hours of the night. If you're looking for lodging in Coram, you're going to hear the train. For these reasons, earplugs are provided. In addition to hosting Hipcampers, I'm a host on Workaway, and so there may be workstay volunteers on property as well during your stay. If so they also use the bathroom facilities but they share my outdoor kitchen with me. I'm in the process of developing the property into a permaculture homestead, expanding my garden, and doing more natural building projects. If you share these interests be sure to let me know!

Explore Glacier National Park and discover what awaits you. •FLY FISHING The Flathead River system of northwestern Montana offers memorable fishing opportunities. From sites of easy access to that remote wilderness, the Flathead waters can provide diverse fishing experiences. Three main branches, the North Fork, Middle Fork, and South Fork, eventually come together to form the main stem of the Flathead River that flows into the 28-mile-long Flathead lake. Access to the three forks and the main Flathead is readily available in places, but to effectively fish the best of the Flathead, floating is suggested. The hardest thing about fly fishing in this part of northwestern Montana is keeping your eye on your fly and not the spectacular scenery. •BIGFORK SUMMER PLAYHOUSE The Bigfork Summer Playhouse was founded in 1960 by Dr. Firman ‘Bo’ Brown and his wife Margery Hunter Brown as a place for University of Montana theatre students to perform in the summer. In the early days of the Bigfork Summer Playhouse, the company ate group meals, rehearsed, and lived in the same place. There were no facilities to build scenery, nor extra storage of any kind. As a matter of fact, the building didn’t even belong to the Bigfork Summer Playhouse — it was a Community Hall owned by the Masons and the Eastern Star and seated approximately 200 people. The summer group would rent the facility and bring in the stage, risers, and seats for the audience. We’re pleased to say that now the playhouse is a 435-seat air-conditioned theater with great fly space, a spacious lobby that contains a concession area, and wonderfully comfortable continental-style seating for hundreds of guests. Numerous spaces off-site to accommodate production needs including a dormitory facility for the actors; living quarters for the directors, technicians, and musicians; costume shop; scene shop; and rehearsal space. •SPARTAN RACE Spartan Race is a series of obstacle races of varying distance and difficulty ranging from 3 miles to marathon distances. They are held in the US and have been franchised to 30 countries including Canada, South Korea, Australia, and several European countries. The series includes the Spartan Sprint, the Spartan Super, the Spartan Beast, and the Spartan Ultra. •WHITEWATER FESTIVAL The Bigfork Whitewater Festival is celebrating 46 years of extreme whitewater action and community-oriented fun! This is the longest-running event in Bigfork and is one that the entire Flathead Valley looks forward to each year. Participants come from around the world to race. Spectators are also a huge part of this festival and come to enjoy the races and other events held in town. •BIGFORK FESTIVAL OF ARTS It was in May of 1978 when the idea of a Bigfork Festival of the Arts was first proposed. As so often happens in Bigfork, it started with a conversation on Electric Ave. between members of the community. The first festival was held on the first weekend in August of 1978. It was a resounding success despite the committee’s inexperience. The feedback from the community was very positive and the group agreed that it should become an annual event. Over the years, the festival has grown steadily to its current size. In 2019, there were more than 140 booths representing a wide variety of arts and crafts by nationally and internationally recognized artists and craftsmen. Festival attendance is estimated to be more than 6,000. •4TH OF JULY PARADE Bigfork knows how to throw a party. And when it’s our country’s birthday, Bigfork really knows how to celebrate. The centerpiece of the celebration is the annual parade through Bigfork which begins at noon. Bring your whole family to view our great parade to celebrate the birth of our country. The 4th of July Parade in Bigfork has been voted “Best Parade in the Flathead” year after year.

Go burn some energy and come back here to ground and re-charge. If you love quaint little towns, you'll love Somers. It offers a post office, café, bar/restaurant, hardware/lumber store, a museum, mansion and a yacht club. Culture, history and beauty here. If you love beaches, the Somers Beach is a great spot with a swimming area and place to launch paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and rafts from. There are spots tucked away next to the shoreline, among the pines, that are super sweet for picnics, or hanging out, whilst the kiddos frolic in the water. The Somers State Park is a part of a Waterfowl Preserve. It's outside of town and pretty secluded. It has a very nice sandy beach and is in a shallow cove. Likewise, it's shallow for a long ways out, so there is no boating traffic here. Perfect for SUP's, kayaker s, kids and dogs. If you love to sail, The North Flathead Yacht Club is a great place to meet locals and hitch a ride on a sailboat For whooping it up! Del's Bar is a great place. Lakeside and Big Fork offer even more, a short drive away. We even have gemstones, a roller coaster and Flathead tours.

There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park.
