We do not take late comers as we are a farm and are early to bed and early to rise. I'm sorry! We are the third generation in this location and the great grandparents had the adjoining property. My father was born and died in this house, and I was raised here also. After teaching for 32 years my husband and I inherited the farm from my folks who have since passed. There are no orchards left on the property but we are moving on with a vegetable and flower garden, goats, chickens and a llama. We have a gorgeous view of Lake Chelan but can only offer dry camping at this time. Our area has a multitude of things to do!

Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. For the foodies, Chelan is just 30 miles south and Twisp/Winthrop is 40 miles to the North, also abundant with events, wineries, and shopping. Philville is 3.85 miles from US 97 on state highway 153. Near Pateros wa., the property is ten acres and includes 3 acres of tent sites, 3 rv hookups and 3 cabin rentals. All sites are riverfront and the adjoining property is a state fishing access and boat launch used by rafters and fishermen. The site is at the very end of the popular "Black canyon" section of the Methow river. Rafting and fishing guides use this property regularly. There is ample space for boat and trailer parking. There is a winery in walking distance that offers a beautiful oudoor tasting experience. Winter opportunities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Nearby the recreational opportunities abound. Alta Lake is a popular tourist area only 2 miles away. 4 miles away is Lake Pateros - home to many popular species of gamefish with massive runs of salmon passing eagerly anticipated each year in summer. The number in 2024 was over 500,000. Winthrop Wa. -a small western themed town is 30 miles away and a popular tourist destination. One of the most popular activities here is simply sitting in the river. We have a stunning swimming hole that is enjoyed by young and old. there are vertical bluffs across the river that are home to 60 bird species. A paradise for birders. Close to upland gamebird hunting on state land. The site also has historical significance being a site along the first wagon road into the Methow valley built in the 1800's

My husband & I put a lot of blood sweat & tears into making this a place our kids would enjoy during our weekend vacations to Leavenworth. We love hiking & there are a ton of nearby hikes. Despite it being located on the other side of the train tracks, we always seem to have a good time. We hope you enjoy it too! Learn more about this land: Outdoor enthusiast will enjoy this glamp spot! Utilize the dry cabin equipped with two twin size beds, a pullout couch bed, a dining table with 4 chairs & extra seating. With plenty of space outdoors, feel free to pitch a tent or bring your RV for friends! It is a dry cabin meaning there is no running water. We have it powered with a solar panel which should give enough electricity to charge phones & lights as needed. There is also an outhouse with a compost bucket if you'd like to use that. The downside to this lovely parcel is it's on the opposite side of the train tracks, so there will be occasional noise. Maybe it adds to the uniqueness? Just keep that in mind as once in a blue moon, the train does stop so you may be stuck for a few minutes. Oh & those power lines sometimes make a crackling noise. Sometimes we notice it & other times we don't. Now that we got that out of the way, the pros are it's a great place to explore. There are a ton of nearby hikes. This spot is in between Stevens Pass & the famous Alps candy store, with each being about 15 mins away. There is a gas station/convenient store, a few diners, and a rest stop within 5 minutes. Historical Leavenworth is about 20 mins.  There is a spot for campfires, a small 2 burner propane stove & an ice chest for your convenience, but you will need to bring the propane.

Just 45min from Leavenworth as well! Guests have the option to add on the Sauna package and enjoy our wood fired river view barrel sauna! No better feeling than to take a cold plunge in the river after a sauna:) On weekends we run our riverside wood burning hot tub as well included in the sauna/ hot tub package! All tent sites are riverside and feature mostly level tentpads and riverside fire pits! Some with room for multiple tents. While some sites are close in proximity, the sound of the river over powers most normal conversations just a few feet away and each site has a great stretch of river heaven! Drive in vehicle camping sites feature river views but are perched higher on the bank and while not directly riverside, are just feet away from the river! The property has communal river access points. All campers have access to our communal kitchen area as well featuring propane grill! Please bring your own cookware. Restroom facilities are well maintained portable toilets. We have limited extra parking onsite depending on reservations on a given night, available for $20/ night per vehicle. Otherwise there are some other spots available at lots in the general area.

Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the following years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer multiple listings - the cottage, a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Weekend Trip to Ascent Basecamp

My family and I rented both floors of the cabin (Over the River and Through the Woods) over the 4th of July weekend. We are not big outdoor campers, so this was an incredible and unforgettable experience for us. The site was clean and well-maintained. You receive a key to access the bath house, which is shared with the other lodgers. We appreciated that Mark informed when the other party arrived. (P.S. turn off the water when shampooing/washing to maintain hot water and conserve energy!) Mark was communicative both before and throughout our stay, is available on site to answer questions/provide tips about the surrounding area. My favorite part was the communal aspects offered; being one with nature while having opportunities to chat with others sharing the space. I will never forget the rotation of: sauna, dip in river, hot tub. The window of the sauna overlooking the river alone is priceless, but with this rotation, nothing can compare. Can also 100% attest to the powerful river overpowering other campers. It was a restorative, healing trip that I would recommend to anyone and everyone - I know I'll be back!

Loved the views of the rolling hills and having the large tent all set up in a secluded spot. It was quite windy while we were there, and the tent was totally secure and provided great shelter. It was close to hiking trails and not far from town, so it was easy to get everywhere. We also saw epic rainbows at the campsite!

Weekend Trip to Redstead Riverfront

Beautiful property, beautiful home. The bed is comfortable, the flush toilet was a relief but it's nice to know you have a backup in the compost potty if you can't make it to the outhouse. Shower worked well, towels were provided! Pots and pans, cooking utensils were provided. Hammock by the river was a great spot to unwind after long hikes. We really loved this place.

Weekend Trip to Redstead Riverfront

Beautiful tiny home made with love and great craftsmanship. I was surprised to find it equipo with a stove and small fridge. The home felt cozy but not too tiny. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the river go by. Peaceful solitude along the river. We enjoyed the visits from two friendly cats and a beautiful friendly pet dog. We were able to climb the ladder to the comfortable loft bed that has an amazing view of the river. Might not be easy for older folks or someone with an injury but we did just fine. The host and his family were welcoming but also gave us privacy. It was the perfect place for us to stay while we visited Twisp.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this spot. So cozy and exactly what my soul needed that weekend. I loved watching the coyotes retreat to their dens in the morning, the raven that constantly visited the fence post, the sagebrush and rattling wind. The tent had EVERYTHING. I didn’t need half of what I packed. Amazing people who were wonderful communicators despite the service. I will absolutely be back here over and over again.

We loved the tent on Kellie's property. The methow views were beautiful. Watching the sunrise and sunset was absolutely amazing. The tent was clean and the set up was nicely thought out. Kellie had a charging block ready for us in the tent that also had a lamp on it, as well as 3 lights on another charging block. We did not have cell service which made it even more peaceful. The town of Twisp was a 10 minutes away. The people there were very friendly. The hubby and I will definitely be back!
