Our stay here was fantastic and honestly exceeded all our expectations, and then some. Every single thing was so well thought out. The insulation was great, and since there's a train nearby, Dan (our host) made sure to leave us ear plugs, which was such a thoughtful touch. There was also a space heater, a room fan, an extra comforter tucked away in the chest, an emergency lamp, and even bear spray on hand. You could tell a lot of care went into thinking through every possible need.
Outside, there was a cozy fire pit and a hammock, which made the morning so relaxing.
The flushable washroom was spotless, the shower had great hot water, and having access to a kitchen made things even easier. Honestly, this stay was well worth the money.
Dan was a wonderful, friendly host, and his dogs were just as sweet. My only regret is that I didn't get more time with them, since we were running a bit late and wanted to make the most of our time in the national park. Next time, I'll definitely budget in some extra pup cuddles!
Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped basecamp near the park.

This is peak glamping. Access to a fridge and microwave, a shower, and a flush toilet. The tents are sturdy and great to sleep in. They do get hot during the day, but you're near Glacier so it's doubtful you're going to be at the place in the middle of the day. He has a fan in the tent to turn on and so you can quickly get the tent cooled off in the evening. Quick responses to questions. The tents are near each other but set up to still feel private. The bed was comfortable and extra blankets were available in the tent because it can really cool off in the night early summer. About the only negative is things outside of host control such as train noise from nearby train tracks and the neighbor's dogs barking at critters in the night. Earplugs are provided though so even that is thought of to try to mitigate the noise. This place is a great place to stay to be near glacier with great amenities and pay a great price.

Dan’s plot of land was absolutely incredible! This was our first Hip Camp experience and it did not disappoint. The shared spaces were wonderful. The tent we stayed in was perfect-sturdy, clean, well insulated, quiet, GREAT location! 10/10 recommend!

The tent was really nice, Host is super friendly. It was really great to have a shower and space to cook after being in the park all day. The park entrance was super close and the sunflower cafe that was nearby was delicious.

Exceeded my expectations! Comfortable bed, fan kept it nice and cool on a warm summer night. I was anticipating a cold shower and a pit toilet but had heat and running water! Very convenient location to spend yours days in Glacier National Park and spend evenings in Columbia Falls for dinner or drinks. Enjoyed deer and birds from the hammock and appreciated the cold and dry food storage. Towels, sheets, and tent were all clean. I would recommend this spot to anyone who wants a step up from camping or (like me) is flying in and doesn’t want to deal with tent setup!
