Weekend Trip to North American RV & Yurt Village

Staff was great and helpful accommodating was clean and in working order. Little nosie due the fact that it is right next to highway but we expected that. Would book again if we go back.

Kevin’s property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. He’s incredibly humble considering what he’s created here! He has a very strong bond with his animals, which is beautiful. Kevin allowed us to feed and interact with all of the animals and it was so wonderful to see how much he loves them! We had everything we needed. The bathroom and shower were fantastic and the river was lovely. Absolutely would recommend this stay to anyone!!!

Woody was welcoming, prepared for our arrival, and available to help with anything we needed. We stayed in The Shady Lady which was all we needed (a place to put up the tent for the night) but the glamping sites up on the hill looked really nice and if we are ever in the area again we would likely book one of those.

3 nights at Stillwater Getaway

Ryan was super friendly and communicative. The camp was dog friendly. The location was ideal for accessing Whitefish bike trails and coming back to a peaceful camp on the lake. We lucked out and had it all to our selves making it a wonderful camping trip!

Had a great stay in a yurt! It made for a unique stay, and was surprisingly spacious, with good airflow once you open things up. There is definitely some road noise, but it didn’t bother us much. The shared bathrooms and common area were clean and well-stocked. All the employees were super nice and helpful. We had a couple of great meals at the food truck that shares the parking lot, I definitely recommend trying them out. Overall it was just what we were looking for to get the semi-camping experience without having to travel with a bunch of gear!

Terri had everything we needed! Our yurt had electricity and a sky light for the stars! We flew into Montana and she provided everything we could need. Towels, spices, ziploc bags, etc. It was also only 5 minutes away from the park which was perfect. Teri was also extremely helpful and welcoming! If I make it back to Montana from the east coast, we will stay with her again!

Lovely amenities and so many fun activities. Everyone there was so nice and we had a great view of the sunrise / sunset. Campgrounds were still private despite being close to one another and road wasn’t too loud. Loved it!

Very nice rustic/country feel. Great for the truly adventurous! Still, only 10 miles from Missoula. Had a great experience!!

The road is very close & a railroad as well, so you can hear vehicles throughout the night but everything else was absolutely seamless! Terri is a wonderful host and has EVERYTHING from towels to Q-Tips, firewood to pots & pans. If you’re looking for a convenient spot near west glacier, this is it!

What an incredible experience we had camping at Kevin's River Ranch! Warmly welcomed right out the gates. You can tell, a lot of care goes into and surround this place. From the calming flow of the river, to the awesome energy from Kevin, Sophia and all of their farm pets, this place is special. Thank you again for everything!

8 nights at Leaning Tree Campground

It was a nice campground with nice facilities (bathroom/shower house). It did not have any bear boxes for tent campers, but the dogs do a good job keeping away the bears. With that being said, the dogs will sometimes get in your business and jump up on picnic tables. Overall, it is a good place to stay. The East side of Glacier is currently the best side to stay as there are no entry reservations on Going to the Sun road and this campground is close to St. Mary's, Many Glacier, and Two Medicine.

Super chill and tranquil with a great location, lake out front, hiking out back. A quiet spot, carved out of the base of a mountain. It's walking distance to the Somers Beach and Boat Launch. Blacktail Mountain is next door, Hot Springs, Glacier NP, down the road. There's plenty to do on the lake, in the mountains, or in the towns nearby. Go burn some energy and come back here to ground and re-charge. If you love quaint little towns, you'll love Somers. It offers a post office, café, bar/restaurant, hardware/lumber store, a museum, mansion and a yacht club. Culture, history and beauty here. If you love beaches, the Somers Beach is a great spot with a swimming area and place to launch paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and rafts from. There are spots tucked away next to the shoreline, among the pines, that are super sweet for picnics, or hanging out, whilst the kiddos frolic in the water. The Somers State Park is a part of a Waterfowl Preserve. It's outside of town and pretty secluded. It has a very nice sandy beach and is in a shallow cove. Likewise, it's shallow for a long ways out, so there is no boating traffic here. Perfect for SUP's, kayaker s, kids and dogs. If you love to sail, The North Flathead Yacht Club is a great place to meet locals and hitch a ride on a sailboat For whooping it up! Del's Bar is a great place. Lakeside and Big Fork offer even more, a short drive away. We even have gemstones, a roller coaster and Flathead tours.

The Mooseshroom

Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.
