On 2 acres within walking distance of downtown Kalispell and a short drive to Glacier National Park, we offer comfortable tipis that can sleep from 2-4 people.
The tipis are equipped with a queen-sized air mattress and bedding, a power box and lighting and a table and chair. You have access to picnic tables, a fire pit and a good selection of yard games like croquet and corn-hole to name a few.
The acreage is surrounded on three sides by Ashley Creek and boasts a unique covered bridge and awe-inspiring grandmother Willow trees.
Beautiful downtown Kalispell is an easy 10-minute walk. There you'll find local breweries with live music, a local ice cream shop, a variety of restaurants and shops.
Parking is not right next to the tipis, but we have a wagon to help get your things from your vehicle to your tipi.
Under the bridge is where you'll find our games, including croquet, badminton, Frisbee and Frisbee games, Bocce ball and Wiffle golf balls and clubs. We also have extra bedding and air mattresses in a secure chest.
Remember that you'll be camping in a field. We've done our level best to keep the tipis clean and clear of pests, but it is a natural environment, so there is a non-zero chance that you'll run across some dirt, grass, thistles, or a multi-legged friend. You might even get an unwanted gift from a bird. If any of that needs to be gone, you can access a broom and leaf blower on the bridge, or you can find one of us on the property and we'll take care of it for you. Thank you for your understanding!

We live on 10 acres of mixed forest and field. In the summer we have an active blacksmithing school and flower farm here. The idea of a sustainable, self reliant lifestyle has always been part of our life and passing it down to others is a joy for us. Attractions: Walking distance to forestry service roads. 15 minutes to the Missoula Airport and an additional 10 minutes to the heart of Missoula and all it has to offer. If you are looking for more adventure there is always an endless amount of recreation near, whether you want to drive 5 minutes to mountain bike or 3 hours to Glacier National Park, there is something for everyone! Parking: Reserved parking for guests in the main driveway or in the clearing near the cabin.
Water: Portable toilet onsite, sealson warm shower and sink also available, we recently upgraded to a JOOLCA hot water system so guests can have running water and a warm outdoor shower. We provide 5 gal of potable water in the colder months and have running water nearby for easy refill of water containers if needed in the warmer months.

The Second Living Unit is a well kept 2018, Jayco travel trailer with slide-out that sleeps 4 comfortably (up to 6), and has full utilities (water/power/sewer) and includes A/C, 3 burner range, microwave, bathroom with standup shower (5 gallon RV water heater), outdoor shower, private master with RV Queen mattress. The rear living setup allows for a large living/dining/kitchen area. The futon folds down into a full bed, and the dinette drops into a double futon 4” pad for extra campers or sleeping separately.
This private parcel shares a forest service boundary on one side, and is adjacent the road on the other, but the cabin and RV are set as close to the FS boundary as possible and there is a large, 1 acre clearing with plenty of additional parking areas. Enjoy the forest service access and nearby Jim Creek with public access just across the bridge. Check out the pair of nesting Common Loons at Peck Lake. Get out of the tent and enjoy a cozy night inside. Outdoor string lighting and an adjacent forest service campfire ring makes your evenings something to remember.

Notes: There is plenty of additional parking, but no additional RV hookups. Tent camping is not recommended at this site, nor is outdoor cooking since there is a high density of bears in the area, but campers are welcome to stay and there is room inside the dry cabin for your gear! If additional, covered storage is needed for 1 or 2 bikes, please contact the host for access to the small storage shed. Bring your bear spray. Store all food and trash inside the hard sided cabin or RV in the provided containers.

We had a great time staying at their A-frame cabin. They're located in a very beautiful area with many different farm animals to greet. The donkeys are very friendly and we weren't expected to become so attached over the two nights we stayed here. There was a large rain storm that passed over and we were very cozy on the covered deck.

Geof and Heidi are kind and generous hosts. The cabin is comfortable, with clean bedding and a beautiful view on the creek and the mountains. The trailer has a sink and a shower, with towels and soap. It is quiet and relaxing. The animals on the ranch are friendly and fun to be around. We had a lovely visit and recommend this Hipcamp 100%!

Camping at the lake the way my grandpa would have loved it. Quiet, peaceful, no fuss, but lots of comfort. A nice clean cabin with comfortable bed. Clean porta potty. Great lounge chairs at the beach side. Best of all, we met the nicest little family, that was staying in cabin 2.

My husband and I really loved our stay at Anita’s! The cabin was clean and comfortable, and so cute. The amenities are very “glamping” style but super easy to access, kept clean, and a great set-up overall. We also visited Wild Horse Hot Springs just around the corner and it was incredible and so nice that it was nearby! Only pro tip - we stayed in summer and one step outside at night to use the bathroom resulted in about a dozen mosquito bites. Very typical for being outdoors, but bring bug spray or wear protective clothing in the evenings!

My daughter and I spent the very last night of our 2 week Montana road trip at this amazing place. We actually had already been to the property on our 2nd night of the trip when we stayed in the glamping tent,which we absolutely loved and highly recommend. Even though the cabin is just about perfect,we preferred the tent site because it's completely private,whereas at the cabin,the very cool property owners are within direct sight of you. Not a big issue. Just something to note. The property is big and beautiful. We spent a lot of time at the main creek. So fun! We just love this place! And the cabin is awesome and adorable.

If you want to spend some epic time at Flathead lake without the crowds,this is the place! The property is set up like a beach resort,but mostly just for you. There are 3 cabins,and the lovely Christine and her family were around sometimes,but my daughter and I mostly had the beach to ourselves. Such pristine,perfect water to swim in,and the gorgeous Flathead stones everywhere constantly blew this rock hounding girl's mind. The cabin is so cute! It's very rustic as it is very old and cool. There's a fan but no AC,so on hot days it does get very hot inside. Totally worth it! No running water wasn't an issue. There's a water spicket right by the cabins,and I bathed in the lake. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven,and feel so privileged to have stayed there for 2 days.
