Located in Yaak, MT, along the PNT (pacific northwest trail), deep in the Kootenai National Forest, in the Northwestern corner of Montana. Pick your campsite in the trees or in the grass, shade or sun. The 2 acre grounds extend to Yaak River, with a shared dock, and communal outdoor kitchen, (propane grill and fire pit, small fridge, some pans and utensils). Camp fire wood is available for purchase, or bring your own local firewood. Camping fee includes Hot outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, outhouses, fire pits, WiFi, trash cans. In Summer, we have an on-site espresso/ice cream shop and fresh chicken eggs for sale. Roads and trails to explore are endless. Rivers, waterfalls, alpine lakes, Kootenai Falls and Lake Kookanusa are all close by. In Winter, explore groomed snowmobile/cross country ski trails, or go back country. Also, Turner Mountain Ski Area is only 17 miles away. Come set up your tent, or car camp. Also, we can accommodate your small camper/RV, with water and 110 power hookups. The Oasis can also be rented for parties and events, up to 100 people. Package includes exclusive use of the grounds, dock, outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, firepits, and grills. For mountain biking you have Jewel Basin Road, Intermediate, 16.0 ; Legacy Bike Park, 5 ; Old Bigfork Canyon Road, Easiest, 4.0 ; Peters Ridge Trail #37. Bring your kayak, canoe, & paddle boat, or rent one near by. Glacier Park West entrance is only 48 miles away, where you can find climbing and hiking as well. We also have snow sports cover with Ski area Big Mtn &Whitefish Mtn 45miles, Nordic trails Junction Foothills and, Jewel Basin Rd, Bigfork, MT 59911.No pets allowed.

The property features a beautiful private swimming hole on a creek that winds around the dome on 3 sides, perfect for floating on an inner tube or enjoying the many beaches. A bridge leads to a private island that is surrounded by the creek most of the year. Your accommodation is an off-grid, solar-powered Geodesic Dome, equipped with insulation, heating, and air conditioning. It's located in a beautiful patch of the property, on the edge of the creek and includes a toilet and sink, as well as two queen beds for a comfortable stay. There is also a large 33-foot diameter elevated round deck with a table for 12 and a barbecue, situated next to an unground natural stone pool, which you have full use of.

Montana Mountain Memories

Montana Mountain Memories is 11 acres with a 2 3/4 acre pond located in center. We have an RV, Tipi, Geodome, and two home units under Montana Mountain Majesty and Montana Mountain Moods. We have an orchard where the local herd of deer comes usually daily depending upon time of year, Osprey and Eagles have been seen flying over the pond, Fish jumping, and in fall and winter flocks of snow geese have landed. We have Canadian geese that fly over and often stop to enjoy our water and land for a rest. Last year we added several families of Pea Fowl of different colors, one of which are white. We have American Breese Chickens, Turkeys, and Bichon Frise dogs and puppies we raise as well. There is a walkway around the pond for viewing the pond and to fish from when weather permits. We have seating in the orchard and a Gazebo and BBQ for your enjoyment by the water's edge.
