We live on a 15 acre farm. We have a barn, and a fenced in yard for the dogs. Much of the acreage is fenced off for cows. We have a small vegetable garden in the spring and summer and a large flower garden space in progress. There's a small pond on the property. In additions to cows, we also have chickens, barn cats, and dogs. We have a second driveway and half-circle drive for parking a camper or car, as well as flat spaces to pitch a tent.

Livestock encounters are also available with owners in attendance. All proceeds are put back in the farm to care for the animals and the land. Horse enthusiasts will love the on-site pastures, private round pens, and access to hundreds of miles of scenic riding trails that intersect the property.
Our campsites are spacious, private, and peaceful—no crowded neighbors here. Choose from lakefront or forest sites, perfect for both primitive camping and RVs (electric hookups available via generator; fresh water also provided).
Guests enjoy access to modern comforts, including showers, toilets, an air-conditioned clubhouse, a playground, and a variety of friendly farm animals—ponies, pet pigs, goats, and chickens. We’re proudly pet-friendly, too!
Lake Georgia-Sue is also ideal for group gatherings—from family reunions and birthdays to weddings and retreats—with space for up to 25 campers.
We’re just a short drive from several state lakes and great local restaurants (and sometimes we even take a trail ride into town for BBQ or Mexican food!).

The Hobbit Hut is a quaint and charming little cabin decorated with mushrooms and gnomes. It has what you need for a quite away from everything trip. The people that are around are friendly along with the animals. The trails in the forest allow you to come back to nature and just relax. It was truly a great trip to disconnect and recharge.

Excellent time at Harmony Lake. We had the whole place ourselves. We interacted with Ken on several occasions. He was a great host. He recommended another HipCamp to us for our return trip home. Great choice as well. Will definitely stay again!

Such a fun weekend campground for our family. The kids loved the farm animals, there were baby goats that the kids were in love with and gave them lots of snuggles. We rented fishing poles and a kayak and paddle boards, and paid 15$ for all the firewood we could burn. The owner and staff were helpful, even bright the firewood and got the fire going for us.
The only downside is that they are right next to a train track, so be prepared for some train horns.

The DM tent site was great! It felt very private but was still near all the action. My kids loved being near the animal pen. We really enjoyed all the trails and the social interactions with other campers and those attending the events. There is a strong sense of community at Milo Farm.

Great views and lots to see. We really loved waking up and having the grazing horses greet us right outside our door. My dogs both loved exploring the lake. The lighting of the grill house and adjoining lakefront lounge area make this a fun spot to explore during the day or for night walks. I definitely will be booking again.

2 nights at Milo Farm Sacred Land
Good value, I just wish that the air conditioner had worked for the entire stay, that the out door Christmas lights were working and there were no mouse droppings on the beds, but all of that is expected since we are basically on a farm. Take care of your trash/leftover food because the donkeys will scatter it if you don’t take it to the recycling/trash sorting place! The land was great and we enjoyed the time together. Would recommend for people who have kids and don’t want to put up a tent.

MILO farms was a great area to explore. All the lands and landmarks blend in with the beautiful wildlife. Everyone we met was friendly, even I. The donkeys were a little standoffish at first. The boho bus was small but cozy, another very thoughtfully put-together space. We visited for a surprising warm weekend in fervruary but hope to come back in summer/fall!

13 ft travel trailer
I went past the driveway the first time and then doubled back, kate's three pink flamingos next to her mailbox helped me locate it right away. Kate was warm and welcoming and I got to actually feed her goats! Her three dogs were very lovable and curious upon my arrival. The hip camp spot had a nice view of the back 40 and the pond beyond it. Enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend if you're in the Kansas City area.

Walking through the trails was fun. We can’t wait to come back in the spring. The Hobbit Hut was nice but smaller than we thought. The fire pit and animals were great for the kids. We went in early winter with some rain and still had a great time.
