The 80-acre property is carved out of a Norway pine plantation. Sites are approximately 10,000 square ft. in size with about 50 ft. of trees between each site for semi-privacy. We have tried to maintain a balance of nature while making the sites as RV friendly as possible. Although the property is located in the country, it is located along a state highway for easy access and there are three towns and many amenities and recreational venues within 15 minutes drive. Currently no hook-ups, but there is a yard hydrant and dump station. There are also portable restrooms on site.

Cuyuna Crossing Campsites offer walk-in riverside camping on 21 wooded acres with over a half mile of Mississippi River frontage. What began as a simple drive-in camping property has grown into a quieter, more intentional setting designed to protect the land and preserve a peaceful guest experience.
Vehicles now park in the main lot, and carts are provided to transport gear to your campsite. This shift reduces road noise and keeps the riverfront calm for all guests.
The property includes one Riverside Group Site (accommodating up to four tents) and four individual rustic tent sites located along the river. Campsites are bring-your-own-gear, with no water or electricity at the individual sites. A conveniently located porta potty serves the campsite area.
Optional Add-On: Shower & Bathroom Access
Rustic campers may purchase access to a private bathroom and shower located in the main building. This facility is shared among campsite guests who have purchased the add-on and is available on a first-come basis. Advance purchase is required, availability is limited per night, and a door code will be provided prior to arrival.
An 18-hole professionally designed disc golf course (opening Spring 2026) winds through the wooded property and is available exclusively to overnight guests during their stay.

We wanted to find somewhere last minute to camp and it was a really cool spot. Plenty of firewood, nice view of the river. We didn’t face any issues driving to the site, off roading but a clear path. The fire pit was awesome and our fire was still smoking when we woke up!

What a fantastic spot! As the host recommends, definitely plan to walk. We drove out there in a very small AWD car and we got out and in in mostly one piece, but it is very tight. That said, site 3 is stunning. The stars were out and it was the perfect site to stargaze. We managed to get a couple walleye off of the bank in front of the camp. Definitely bring your rod and some heavy lures to get across the wide Mississippi if you like fishing. They are out there!

My friends and I loved our experience at site #3. The view by the river was beautiful and the bugs weren't bad at all! The host was super easy to contact and quick to get back with any questions we had! Overall, it was the perfect weekend.

The site was secluded, which we love. Private and virtually quiet, with the occasional car in the far distance. The campsite was right by the river which is a great view early in the morning.

First trip for our small crew - 2 adults and 3 doggos. Limited people sounds (a bit of traffic near by, but easy to tune out). The site is definitely new with lots of down sticks and branches for a fire. It was great to be close to town, but also distant from people. Looks like they are making great strides with expansion.

Love the view and the privacy! Caught some fish and and had some peaceful nights by the fire! Trails are a bit tight but they were dry. I made it back there with a 2wd f150 no problem! I would highly recommend the stay!

My friend and I loved tent camping at site 3. The hike in was made easier with the wagon and we loved the views of the Mississippi. We were able to put our tubes in at site 2 and coast down to our site. We got a nice breeze and plenty of privacy! Leah had great communication leading up to our trip and even provided us helpful information for a kayaking route. We would definitely like to come back for more memories! Having endless firewood was such a perk too.

Took a break from cabins surrounded by other cabins and enjoyed tent camping with our Lugaloo on campsite #1. Yes, you can hear traffic but didn’t bother us. Bring a speaker and play your favorite music. You don’t need a loud volume to drown out the traffic sound. Enjoyed the adventurous drive to the camp site. We did help out fellow campers that got stuck so keep that in mind. We drove a dodge ram 2500 with a wench. Glad we could help out. You want off grid and surround yourself with trees…you found it. Great weekend.

Excellent weekend getaway on the river. The site was easy to find and super spacious. I had plenty of room to explore, and a great spot for my tent. Fishing was also excellent from this spot, if you’re planning to fish, hit up Oars-n-Mine in Crosby for bait as the bait shop across the street from the property is closed. My Nissan Rogue made it mostly fine to and from the campsite (I still goofed and scraped over a small stump which my front bumper didn’t like. Just be aware and you’ll be fine). Hoping to be back at some point as the views were fantastic and the solitude was lovely

I stayed at site #3. Beautiful spot and very secluded from your neighbors. Lots of wood to burn and a beautiful spot to relax and detox from the rest of the world. Not a very hard drive to get back there at all (as long as you have AWD I’d say lol). I would highly recommend this spot. 10/10 🫶🏻

Camping at this site #2 was great! Lots of great fire wood and an excellent view right on the Mississippi River!
The site is a great place to stay. We brought a boat to hop on the fish the whitefish chain, we had plenty of space to park it at the front of the property. The boat parking was nicely hidden away from the road.
The drive to campsite was easy enough but I would recommend having 4 wheel drive or 4x4, ESPECIALLY if rains. Don’t plan on bringing a boat/trailer with you to the campsite, but there is space to park it at the front of the property. Bring mosquito spray, they can be tough buggers.

Perfect for boondocking! There is water at the rv dump as well as clean portables dotted throughout the acreage. Importantly, there is plenty of space for a relatively private stay.
We were in site 101 and could hear the road quite clearly but didn’t mind, you may want to choose a deeper site.
The tree plantation was perfect for a hammock!

We had a great trip! The river access was fantastic and the site itself was lovely and well kept. Our 4wd vehicles had no problem getting back to the site, though as Leah mentioned a smaller vehicle would have struggled. Plenty of room for a couple of hammocks and a very large tent! Overall beautiful spot, we will definitely be back!

Site 2 was great ! Our Honda pilot AWD made the drive easily .
Plenty of unsplit logs already cut up and stacked at the camp site ready for splitting and burning which was amazing !
Kayaks worked perfectly !
