We are also 3 mins from lake george and the Rum River Regional Park for swimming, biking, fishing, boating, and more paddling. There is a Bills gas n grocery as well as a G-will liquors less than a minute from the property. The Ponds golf course is about 4 mins away as well. If you are looking to hit downtown Anoka that is a straight shot and approx 12 mins away. This site is on an active hobby farm that has dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, turkeys, and multiple gardens. We have a farm stand by the road where we sell items such as fresh roasted coffee, eggs, BBQ sauce, pickles, maple syrup, hot sauce, and more! Come and visit them! While the site does not have running water, you’ll be camping right next to our family cabin, and we’re happy to help with anything you might need. We also have friendly goats on the property that guests are welcome to visit! There’s also plenty to explore nearby. Just minutes away, Braham offers a quirky “hole-in-the-wall” bowling alley and some charming local shops. My wife and I had an amazing experience, and the joy began even before we actually “arrived” at Kelley’s farm. The road to the farm gave us front row seats to a forest of beautiful, luminous orange fall leaves on our left and the deep blue lake on our right. We had to stop the car a few times along the way just to look around and snap some photos. After a LOT of photos, we made it to Kelley’s farm—which, by the way, has a VERY cool shop at the entrance—and then our campsite! The location was as beautiful as the drive in and elevated by the range of thoughtful amenities Kelley had staged beforehand and also by a visit from their friendly dog! I could write more, but you get it! 10/10 recommend!

Weekend Trip to Alpha and Omega Pizza Farm

We had a nice time tent camping on Kim’s land. They offered to do pizzas if we wanted for dinner because they were also hosting a wedding and let my boys help make them. Millie’s meat lovers was delicious. The farm animals were adorable and we especially loved the extra friendly donkeys. We also enjoyed the extra added breakfast with cinnamon rolls and coffee in the morning. I’d definitely recommend you check out this beautiful glamping experience. We felt like honored guests.

Weekend Trip to The Jubilee Homestead

I have stayed at Jubilee Homestead a handful of times over 3 years. It’s a beautiful slice of land to bring my friends and my granddaughters to. The animals, the beautiful barn and owners are all great. Esther answers messages within minutes and is so helpful always. She and her husband have written many books and we bought one on this visit. I’ll be coming back here a few times every year. It’s wonderful to bring my city granddaughters out so they can experience this beautiful country life! Picking apples from trees, touching goats and chickens and just playing at the playground, it’s a sweet slice of country life.

Matt’s land was great. It is very peaceful and quiet. We had two other neighbors during are stay. The sites are far enough apart, that you don’t really hear or see them. Trails are in good shape and you are near Moose Lake for any last minute items.

Matt’s land was a great spot to camp for a long weekend! Camping pads are rock and well maintained. Big space next to the pad for a fire pit and kids to play. Electric and water hook ups worked great! Will definitely be back again.

Weekend Trip to Rustic River Retreat

Amber has been working so hard to make this such a beautiful spot! The amenities are out of this world and not what I’m used to! We unfortunately did not get to meet but I would have loved to have learned her story. She was always quick to communicate. This place was quiet, serene, and beautiful. The hike to the river was so perfect in the night time, the bridges were well lit. And let me tell you about those stars…..the Milky Way was in perfect viewing all night. I’m hoping to make it back someday soon!

We camped right next to the sheep and cows and my kids LOVED the experience. Christine and Jamie were incredibly warm and welcoming, inviting us to join them in farm chores. There’s plenty of room to roam and animals to visit. We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be sure to bring our boots like other reviewers recommended!

Weekend Trip to The Jubilee Homestead

Esther’s property was so beautiful and relaxing! I loved all the chickens, goats and seeing the neighbors’ cows and horses. Also, one of the barn cats literally climbed up in my lap and cuddled into my neck!! So sweet! The little path around their property is cute and the outhouse was so clean and roomy. The cookies at arrival were delicious and I purchased a book (excited to read) and crochet pig from their little store. It was a quick stay but peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend!

We loved the open space and privacy that we don’t get at state parks. I don’t think I’ve seen my youngest dog so content with being out camping and running around the woods. The amenities were fantastic. There are kayaks to use; didn’t use them but it’s a good option. Nice river view with a fire pit, could use a fire wood stack by the river otherwise you have to haul it. Plenty of tent spots . Electric spots are a little bit too close together for my tastes; but we had the sites to ourselves. Loved the kitchen and showers. 10/10 🌟 Will definitely come again.
