Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's.
Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows.
There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites.
Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive.
Cool and brand new Brewery opening up soon right across the rd from Cowtown and right next to The best Cowboy outfitter.

Welcome to creek-side camping on our picturesque 16 acre farm! Here are a few ground rules to help with your stay -PLEASE READ SO NONE OF THIS IS A SURPRISE-:
-Dogs are permitted if they are friendly and are trained well enough to listen and stay at your site. Again, they must stay at your site unless walking with you on a leash. If your dog inflicts damage to the sites (digging holes, chewing up piles of sticks, chewing up toys to bits etc. please clean up after your dogs. We will provide shovels, rakes if you need!)
- OVERLANDERS: You can bring your overland camper if you want, but you must park your vehicle in the parking spot across from your site at sites 1-3. It is a safety issue to block the entryway/exit lane. Site 4 is large enough to accommodate your vehicle and these rules do not apply there.
-This is a place for relaxation and reflection by the creek. No loud groups, or partying allowed. If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud. If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together.
-This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT. DO NOT THROW FOOD SCRAPS IN THE CREEK!
-There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob! But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers.
- Please do not invite visitors to your campsite. This is an insurance issue, no exceptions. If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!? People coming to our land who are not booked at a site will immediately be shown off the property.
-Due to virtually every booking asking for earlier arrival and later departure times, we are strictly adhering to the posted check in and check out times.

Our family of 4+dog had a wonderful time at Conowingo Creek! Gini and Kelly were wonderful hosts. They have a large chicken area that our kids loved to harvest eggs from and help put the chickens to bed at night. The campsite itself is located ~300 ft from the dedicated parking spot and included a cart to easily transport all our stuff. There is some minor road noise in the area, but that didn't really bother us at all. We also opted to rent out the treehouse for our kids - it includes a queen/full bed and a little DVD TV for falling asleep to movies. We also did a little fishing and caught a little trout and several crayfish (haha). We couldn't be happier and highly recommend staying at this wonderful spot.

This is a great spot for new campers! Wide and clear walking paths around the pond and a nicely kept fire pit. The cabin is small but has everything you need to enjoy yourself. Conveniently located and well kept outhouse nearby. Our dogs loved exploring this property.

Sites 2 and 3 are close to each other and far from the farm buildings (very private). Site 1 is close to the bathroom but much less privacy.

Weekend Trip to Conowingo Creek Campsite
One of the best camping experiences I've ever had! All the beauty and serenity of tent camping in a private space with none of the drudgery of the set-up and break-down that goes with a typical camping trip. Gini thought of absolutely everything, and all of the supplies she had on hand were kept spotless and neat in the cabinets. Not a cobweb to be found anywhere! The paths through the property were well-maintained and tranquil to meander, and there were several spots along the creek to enjoy. We spent much of our days creekside, to the delight of our pups. Will definitely return!

Big open field so great for groups. We brought out volleyball net and had loads of room. There are trees for shade but you have to move around some - so bring a cover & Watch your water / food so it doesn’t sit out. The alpaca tour was amazing - Phil is so sweet and generous with his time.

Very nice property. The private pond and the surrounding property are beautiful. Although there are houses on the perimeter of the property, you can’t really see them and it feels like you are in the middle of the forest (which you kind of are!). The privacy is just right since there are only 5 sites (4 tent or pull in RV sites and 1 Cabin) and they are spread out around the pond with plenty of space between each. The owners, Dan and Carol, were absolutely phenomenal. Dan came by on his golf cart every day to check on me (I was solo camping in the Cabin). Carol also came with him once. Aside from the privacy and rest/relaxation that I desperately needed, the best part was meeting Dan and Carol. Super nice hosts! Anyone looking for an off grid camping experience should camp here!

This place is incredible, it is exactly the kind of experience I was hoping for when I found this app. The view is phenomenal you're nearly surrounded by a view of the water. It was quiet and secluded. The snakes at the waters edge were fun to watch.

We really loved this campsite. Secluded from others and right on the river. We did underestimate the walk to the site though. I’d recommend this site for more primitive campers so you don’t have to make multiple trips to the car with your gear like we did. Or bring a cart for all your items. Lovely site! Will be back.

If you're looking for a peaceful space for camping, this is it! Pond Site #2 is basically a large field, slightly sloping but with some flat spots, with a view of woods, fields, a pond, old rustic and charming barn, and a house in the distance. There is a firepit, not too big, but it was totally fine. Mary was super sweet and helpful and brought us firewood on the first night. Me and my 2 friends really enjoyed ourselves. We thought about doing a nearby hike at Rocks State Park but it rained and we decided to be lazy and stay in our tents. If you're looking for a really peaceful, well-kept area of tent or RV camping, this is it! We really had nothing bad to say.

My family and I loved are camping experience at Huck and Buck. The hosts are great people and are really fantastic with kids. They went the extra mile to ensure our short stay was great! Though a bit of a walk, the restrooms and shower were the best that I have used at a camp site. They were not just clean, they were carefully curated to ensure a great experience. Gini it’s such a natural hostess. My family had a wonderful time staying on Jenny‘s land. It is absolutely picturesque. Gini went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The creek looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. It is beautiful and I love clunking my chair down in there and cooling off. My kids even got to pick some fresh eggs out of the chicken coop. Thank you, Gini! This was all the fun things about camping minus all of the annoying things about camping. Highly recommend.
