One of the possible camp sites at the main campground. This is in the middle of the loop in the road at the end. There are other sites on either side and a trailer situated just below. There is a primitive camp shower and compost toilet available for campers. Please make sure you get instructions before using. or you can also rent the trailer for the perfect larger gathering. This bathhouse capacity is for only a few people so for larger groups you need to rent trailer or supply duty bags until I can get a portapotty in.

The spot by the river was beautiful and peaceful, and our kids especially loved spending time with the friendly cats and swimming in the river. The porta potty was clean and convenient, which was a nice bonus. Mr Greg was super helpful and always making sure we had everything we needed. Everything was just right for a relaxing getaway. Wow. She is a gem. Take advantage of the river and Gazebo. Both alot of fun and solitude. Off the beaten path. Extremely quite. Tent sites are level. Mine offered trees. As I use a Lawson hammock style tent to get off the ground whenever possible. Much, much shade you're in a forest. Leave the site as you left it. I would go back. I was the only one using the tent area. A bonus for me. We'll done. Composting lue is and water set up was perfect and came in handy. I did not use anything else she offers. PEACE

Loved the site and Greg was a great host! Getting the shade sail is a must if you don't have one of your own as there isn't much protection from the afternoon sun! The river is lovely to swim in but it's down a steep bank so bring your water shoes for that extra grip. Friendly cats on the campsite and so many fireflies :D

We had a BLAST at Hipville at Fiddler's Green Farm! It's a total gem of a spot right next to a perfect creek. The area is nicely shaded by trees with different options to put a tent. There's also a picnic table which is in great shape and a stone fire ring. We loved playing in the creek and fishing- we caught a TON of fish. A 1/16 ounce rooster tail was perfect and the kids loved it! Thanks to the host for creating this amazing spot!

That can always be a possibility when camping or being outdoors. Bring bug spray, citronella and anything else to help with insects. If you stay by the pond you may hear frogs which personally I enjoy hearing but some may not. Consider bringing a generator and run a fan if you think the sound might bother you or some way to block sounds. We enjoy talking to our guests so feel free to stop us for a chat. We are a Nature Retreat bordering Nature Conservancy land along a tributary and up and down the Rappahannock River. You can hike along the stream down to the river and up and down the river. You can fish and float the river. There are no trails so a moderate level of fitness and comfort in the forest is needed. You can follow the water ways but it is wilderness. Camping there is primitive but available or you can camp or glamp at Earthwalk Ways Retreat. We are also adjacent to a 50 acre farm on the other side of the creek that is available for hiking. There is a reservoir nearby as well. We are in the midst of the suburbs not far from Fredericksburg, which has some great historic and community places of interest. Our facilities are private and we only rent to one or 2 guests at a time. You can glamp in a trailer, or car camp in a nice campground with power and water or you can go primitive and pack in. All spaces include access to our classical 11 circuit labyrinth and backyard gardens where you can enjoy zen rock garden and other contemplative nature crafts. Proximity to Shenandoah River: Our location is ideal for those interested in exploring the nearby Shenandoah River, providing opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, and hiking. Entertainment Nearby: Campers looking for a night out can visit Charles Town Races and Slots for some fun and excitement. Numerous amenities combined with peaceful sunrise and sunset views make this site a rare gem. Expect to see all sorts of birds along the river and other wildlife on the property. Conveniently located 6.5 miles from Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and 5 miles south of Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races. The private bathhouse (Taj Mah Potty) has a clawfoot tub, shower, toilet, sink, small refrigerator and is air conditioned for your convenience. Two sit on top kayaks, life jackets, and paddles are included for use at our private put in. Firewood is available on site for a small fee which can be burned in either the riverside fire ring or the pit next to the rv hookups. Our site is priced in comparison to an RV site at the KOA in Harpers Ferry. The difference is this is a private site, with 100' of private river frontage, and you are not on top of your neighbor. If you are tent camping feel free to book, but realize this spot is priced according to rv rates.
