Campsite is located on a 12 plus acre family horse farm. There is a patch of woods with a small creek that runs through it. We are located 10 minutes from Rock State Park, Eden Mill Nature Center, and the MA and PA walking trail. We are 20 minutes from Jerusalem Mill Village. You can hike, bike, climb, and swim at 2 or more of these locations. Tucked Away Acres is just that, we are tucked away behind other houses. The property backs up to power lines where deer can be seen often. We offer a large fire pit, horse shoe pit, small playground, trampoline, swings, and a small zip line over the creek in the woods. Horseback riding is available on certain weekends only (weight limit of 180 lbs) for an extra charge. Type of riding depends on skill level, leadline to guided trail ride. We loved our stay! Anne was very welcoming and helpful. The property is in a rural farming community, yet only 20 minutes to Kennett Square or Longwood Gardens. It’s very relaxing and quiet. Anne has a mudroom on her house that we were able to use that has a bathroom and sink. While the spot is in a carriage house driveway (we were also offered an option a little further away in a field), you still have a good sense of privacy. Anne left eggs and some veggies on our doorstep the first day. The entire trip was great and we’d definitely return. Anne is a lovely host who goes out of her way to make sure you are happy.

What an amazing site!!! Thank you so much Curtis for being very responsive. This site was private and had plenty of space to spread out. Firewood was readily available, the outhouse was a plus and the drive from Montgomery county was a breeze. I 100% recommend this site to anyone who loves the outdoors and is looking for a beautiful campsite in the woods. We will be coming back real soon.

This ended up being our favorite stop on our ten day (ten different campsite) roadtrip! The dogs were a little overwhelming at first, jumping on our car and barking at us as we unpacked… but by morning we had made three new best friends 🐕 they slept by our tent through the night and protected us, they kept us company and my son loved playing with them. The pasture was well kept and they had the best portapotty I think I’ve ever been in. It didn’t smell at all (no idea how that’s possible) and had string lights, sanitizer, a mirror, etc. The sheep were a joy to wake up next to and pet- one came right up to the fence when we walked over! The alpaca was cute and the host communicated well too. Our family favorite!

I love this camp site and farm. The owners are really nice, welcoming, and helpful. The camp site is awesome - plenty of space and it's right by the creek. I love that it's wooded and feels secluded, even though Taneytown is only a few minutes away. The farm and property is picturesque, especially in the fall. It's seems like something more out of a movie than real life. We will definitely be back again :)

Weekend Trip to HUNTER'S PARK BY WASHINGTON, DC

Hunters Park at Mezza Luna Farm was awesome. We stayed in the T1 site. Plenty of room for multiple tents and cars. There's firewood for sale right by the site, which was very convenient. There was an outdoor sink at the site, which was nice (though in colder months the water is shut off). There's a porta potty that was very clean - maybe the cleanest portapotty I've ever seen. The farm is beautiful with lots of horses to see. You're allowed to go visit them in the stables. There's plenty of paths to walk around the property if you want to go on a hike. Keith came by to visit - very friendly and welcoming. One family in our group had a couple small children. They did fine and loved seeing the horses. Damascus is very close by - easy access to groceries if you need anything. We'll be back again!

Our stay at Bear Branch Creekside was seriously the best, start to finish! Benjamins communication was always prompt which made everything super easy. The whole site was clean and looked great. We had a blast exploring the fun well kept walking trails, and the creek was the perfect spot to just chill—plus, our son had a field day fishing! The fire pit was a major plus, especially since they had those thoughtful extra cooking grates available. We totally fell in love with the owners' dog, Hopper, too! We had such a good time in Hangtown and are already dying to go back. 10/10 recommend!
