It started years ago my sister and I stayed in a yurt at a campground in Oregon. That was it. I was hooked so I got one. There is something magical about staying in a round structure in the trees. My love of nature and comfort drove me to create this special place to be able to share it with others.
My TreeYurt is a platform built high in the trees so it essentially like a treehouse but with a yurt instead. It is located in the back part of my property surrounded by woods. In the spring there is a small stream running nearby. The land is somewhat sloped yet comfortable.
There are apple orchards nearby and many hiking trails a short distance away as well as Portland a mere 15 minutes.
The kitchenette has a small fridge a toaster oven a coffee maker a cook top with two burners pots pans utensils plates and bowls and kitchen towels as well a propane grill outside.
There is a wood stove for heating in the winter as well as a monitor heater that makes it very cozy for chilly nights. The yurt is insulated so it is a great year round glamping (glorified camping) adventure. I provide fire some wood for the wood stove inside but the camp fire wood for the outdoor fire pit is $5 per bundle.
The outhouse has a dry flush toilet and instructions at located in the yurt and out house. There is seasonal running hot and cold water (May through October) for the outdoor sink which is available for use for dishwashing and a bit of cleaning up. Also an outdoor shower is available for use May through October and biodegradable soaps and shampoo are provided. I provide gallons of drinking water and dishwashing water for the colder months inside the yurt with dish tubs sponges and soap.

Recently selectively logged we discovered views of local mountains and decided to take advantage of the clearings. The cabin was built for me to steal away from the house and enjoy the wildlife, quiet, stars and silence. It is too peaceful to keep to myself so come and enjoy all that Norway Maine and the surrounding area has to offer!

Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking.
Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Camp fire grill on site if you prefer cooking over open flame. There are some battery operated light switches and solar lights in the camp and outhouse. Michelle's cabin was a great spot to stay overnight, she was communicative and clear with directions and always easy to get in touch with. The cabin was quaint, cosy and fit 3 people without a problem, the outhouse and shower were clean and super helpful, too - definitely would stay again!

Lulu’s cabin is in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature. We even had a doe grazing just 50 feet away for almost an hour! Our dog loved it too, and there are endless great hiking options within an hour’s drive. We had a wonderful stay!

The location was easy to locate and access. My dog and I were able to drive up and down the hill without issue. The area was all setup so perfectly. The fire pit area was beautiful and safely tucked up away from the cabin, with the outhouse on the opposite side. Waking up to a sunrise like this one was unforgettable. The night sky was so beautiful and so clear. It's was an exceptional experience to say the least! My dog and I are excited to come back again soon and spend more time out on the trails, that are only steps away from the front porch. ❤️

Such a gem of a campsite! And amazing, kind hosts. The site itself is down an old stagecoach road lined with apple trees — very secluded with no other campers around. We brought our paddleboards, spent the day on the water, followed it up with a hot outdoor shower, and topped it off with fresh strawberry shortcake and jamaican jerk chicken from Beth’s farm market down the road. So good!

So much. Beth’s, which is right down the road, really has everything you could need for a camping weekend. You’re also close to Warren (St. George Pizza), Waldoboro (Odd Alewives, Idas Wine Bar @ The Waldoboro Inn, The Waldo Theatre), Thomaston (Uproot Pie Co @ Carriage House), Rockland (Cafe Grazie, Sammy’s Deluxe, Luce Spirits, The Farnsworth Museum), Rockport (Seafolk Coffee), and Camden (Winona’s, First Fig, Megunticook Lake, Camden Hills State Park)
Amenities: There’s a platform for your tent, a picnic table, firepit, and adirondack chairs. When we showed up, the hosts left fresh cut flowers at the site for us. There was also a little toilet + trashbag set up but we just used our luggable loo camp toilet + wag bags.

I almost hate to leave a review because I want to keep this little piece of heaven all to ourselves. Gorgeous views and just rustic enough, but still with key comforts. Cozy beds, cook ware essentials, outdoor "kitchen" station with a killer view, quirky little touches, and a great porch. The chipmunks (red squirrels?) kept our dog very busy "hunting". No worries, she didn't catch anything, they just teased her with their chirping. We watched the full moon come up over the trees and cooked dinner over the fire. Can't wait to come back!

Really nice stay in the Maine woods. Quiet and private. Centralish location for Augusta, Boothbay, and Wiscasset, all of which we wanted to visit.
Hookups were all great and the water pressure was good. Only issue we had was that the 50-amp electrical connection is in a power box with a narrow space for the cord. Totally fine if you have a 50-amp power cord, but we needed to use a 50a-to-30a converter and our dogbone style one proved too wide to fit in the cable area. We were able to pickup a different style of adapter at Walmart and that worked great.
Met a friendly neighbor who took us out on the lake in her boat, so got a free tour of the area too! Communication with the host was fast and easy.

Weekend Trip to Lulu's 100 Acre Wood Cabin
Staying at Linda’s cabin was a real treat. It offered a wonderful sense of privacy and had views that were truly refreshing. My dog absolutely loved the space to explore freely.
