Nestled in the wilderness near Acadia National Park, our off-the-grid campground merges rustic camping on a lake. If available we offer massage therapy, yoga, energy work, and bodywork, (to name a few) in three ways: 1. When campers request private sessions during their stay. 2. When wellness professionals host ongoing services onsite. 3. During WSS-hosted events that feature healing arts practitioners. Our event space will be available for rental and collaboration with local businesses, nonprofits, and community groups—so long as their purpose aligns with our values: promoting wellness, building connection, and supporting mental health through holistic means and nature's tranquility.
Each year we will build on this wilderness campground to make this a place for many. For 2026 we have just a few campsites, some have platforms, some without. Our plan this year is to add a cabin and hopefully a pit privy. Each campsite has a buffer of vegetation with the lake as a view, a fire pit and space to have more than one tent. There will be a camp style toilet. There's no running water, not much cell service, no electricity. Park at the main road and pull/carry your camping items into the woods. Your site will be labeled. Trash in, trash out. Firewood, camp owned canoe, and walk the beach (if low levels). Dog friendly: must be friendly, on a leash and please be mindful of dogs digging. Here we value the land, it's sanctuary and soil erosion prevention along the shoreline. There's a hangout at the entrance. Friends and Family Market on rte 1A is the closest resupply.

Unplug and reconnect with nature at this rustic campsite nestled among the mossy rocks and ferns of Cape Jellison in Stockton Springs. This is a raw site so bring your own gear, bedding, and supplies and experience Maine’s wild beauty up close.
The campsite is set just off Rocky Point Road (a quiet dead end dirt road). While the tent itself is visible from the road, traffic is light — mostly neighbors and the occasional car misled by GPS heading toward nearby Sears Island. The campsites true gem is a wooded trail leading to your own beach access just ten minutes away. The site includes a sturdy platform tent with a queen-size bed frame (BYO bedding), a private off-grid toilet with a compostable bag system for your bathroom needs, and a simple camp shower bag you can fill with your own water for a quick rinse under the trees. There is no electricity or running water on-site.
Explore two short wooded trails (interrupted by Fire Lane 3) to the stairs that lead to your beach access. At the end of the steps to the beach, you’ll find a second fire ring perfect for an evening drink or early morning coffee. Don’t forget to hunt for some of Maine’s treasured sea glass as a souvenir!
Enjoy stunning views of Stockton Harbor, watch for eagles and deer, or while you’re hanging out on the beach, wander over to the Stockton Springs Yacht Club, where you’ll find a full service bar and restaurant right on the water. They also have’s kayak/canoe rentals!

We have a campsite near Lake George in Skowhegan and we added a few sites to share with friends and family. We are going to rent out few places to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed the beach, and I would highly consider coming back at a warmer time. The campsite we stayed at wasn’t as big as it looked in photos, so there was some maneuvering near the old house to fit our two tiny trailers.
It was an hour to the main Acadia entrance, but so beautiful out there. If camping in tick season, bring spray and check your dogs. We were covered.
Beach was 100/10.

I loved being so close to the water on Daniel's land. The tide receded and we got to explore the rocky shoreline. The proximity to Bar hHarbor and Acadia National Park was an added bonus but by far the best part was meeting Daniel and his mother. They were very kind and gracious hostd and made us feel very welcome.

Lily’s A frame was absolutely perfect! She had it stocked with miscellaneous camping supplies which helped lighten the car load and short walk from the car to the A Frame. The sunset views were stunning, and sleeping to the sound of the waves was such a treat. An accommodating way to “camp” as the temps were getting cold!

This was my first time camping so I was a bit nervous for what could entail. Luckily, Kat was and is an amazing host. Not only was she great to talk to, but also accommodating as well. She was able to give my group some fire starter which helped (me) tremendously as well as let us borrow some foldable chairs and some cookware.
We decided to camp on the beach which gave us an amazing view of the stars and the lake.
