We occasionally host unique events and services that will be announced on our social media pages and may be requested for small groups with prior arrangements made. My husband and I were visiting Acadia and spent the night at the rabbit run spot. There was firewood and water set out for us and we were given clear instructions on how to get there. Best of all: a bathroom with a toilet and running water!! You’ll be greeted in the morning by chickens, ducks, and their dog Sadie if you’re lucky. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll 100% be staying here again. Thank you Mike and Cheryl!

By far, this was the most pleasant Hipcamp experience I’ve had. Every site at this homestead is nice, well-maintained and easily accessed. The host, Mike, was truly amazing as he went above and beyond to help us out! Upon our arrival, we realized we had some vehicle issues. Mike was more than willing to help accommodate us while we fixed the issue.
What could have been a terrible situation was made better by the fact that we had stayed at this location.
We would 100% recommend booking any site at the True Serendipity Homestead! You get a quiet, beautiful view and you’re helping a true homesteader!

This was our second trip to Acadia National Park where we chose to stay at True Serendipity and we can’t wait to keep coming back. The worst thing about our trip was that we couldn’t stay longer! It is a beautiful site with great hosts and plenty of amenities to elevate the experience.

I only stayed one night, but it was absolutely terrific. The spot is beautiful, peaceful, and really well cared for. You can tell Leketa and Hillary put a lot of thought into the small touches — it made all the difference. Claude has a slice of paradise!! This was our second visit and we hope for many more. We stayed at Toddy this trip, and it did not disappoint. Picturesque nook on a riverbend with a fire pit and cooking grate, complete with fully stocked firewood. Picnic table, tiki torches….just a hint of glamping. Bathroom facility is clean and pleasant to use. Cheers, Claude!! We love everything about Flatrock and will be back in 2026!

Very nice stay! Tim met us in town to guide us out to the camp, which was a good idea. His directions are spot on, but it is not a straightforward find. But well worth it. We were in a VW van, no problem with the roads. It's a great spot. If you are in that area stay at loon call camp! We heard lions and had very nice private stay. Even though it was a rainy night, the site was not mushy. Tidy and well run. Thank you for the stay, it was a great stop over for us on the way to Baxter.
