Dan was such a lovely host and set the bar high as my first time reservation made on Hipcamp. He accepted my request very last min, and was able to greet me when I made it over to him later at night. nice bathroom available with hot water, beautiful garden out front and a gorgeous view of the river. watched the sunrise on the banks and wished we had a longer time to stay. staying with him will be a no brainer when i return to Acadia !

dan and his mom are very welcoming. interesting camp. on the tidal river that was down when we got there andup when we left. we were offered kayaks and a canoe which i regret we didnt have time to indulge. but the next trip back, willspend a day on the river...
Our stay went so well!! Dan and his family were so so sweet!! We also saw animals such as squids by the water and a deer!! The bathroom was easily accessible which is super practical and it was a very calm place with a great view! The land was in a bit of a slope but we slept really well!! I would reccomend!
The family property is lovely and they are welcoming and so hospitable. Dan and his mother are some of the best hosts I have ever met
Dan and Betty were lovely hosts. The property was easy to find, the accommodations were clean, the site was beautiful. The chairs and the kayaks down by the water were a wonderful touch, and my dogs had a blast. We would absolutely stay again. That you both for your wonderful hospitality!

Dans got a beautiful location close to the water, was a great host definitely recommend his spot!
I loved being so close to the water on Daniel's land. The tide receded and we got to explore the rocky shoreline. The proximity to Bar hHarbor and Acadia National Park was an added bonus but by far the best part was meeting Daniel and his mother. They were very kind and gracious hostd and made us feel very welcome.
