The pit is not to be explored . Also is not part of the campsites that are booked . There is plenty of flat land to stay safe In the meanwhile . there are sites that are semi complete wooded partly . Until they grow back . Your booking $ helps fund all of these projects that I do . Plenty of acres to explore quiet and peaceful. . Egypt stream flows around half the property .Gated for your security. A lot of nature . Wild life present. please leash your pets there’s porcupines around ! . Peaceful and Quiet! The end of the driveway is a large crushed gravel parking pad which should easily accommodate any RV or trailer (make sure you back in, there's no room to turn around). The pad is mostly flat, but minor leveling on RV's is probably still needed. Site overlooks Flanders Bay which feeds into Mount Desert Narrows. Watch the family of 5 eagles fly back and forth across the cove and bring binoculars to watch them as they perch in nearby trees. The cove is filled with a variety of seabirds and the occasional harbor seal. You will have complete quiet as you listen to the sounds of forest and coastal life.Property is located 11 miles from Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National park and a quick 35 miles from Bar Harbor. We enjoyed the beach, and I would highly consider coming back at a warmer time. The campsite we stayed at wasn’t as big as it looked in photos, so there was some maneuvering near the old house to fit our two tiny trailers. It was an hour to the main Acadia entrance, but so beautiful out there. If camping in tick season, bring spray and check your dogs. We were covered. Beach was 100/10.

We car camped on Michael’s land and had a great time. It’s a nice out of the way spot not too far from Acadia, which we had come to Maine to visit The spot itself is interesting with a lot to explore nearby. Michael was very friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Would highly recommend.

7 nights at Eagle View Coastal Campground

This truly is a private oasis. We did not see a single person when staying at Raphaele’s land! The view of the water was awesome, but with a quick hike through the mossy forest you’re down by the water for an even better view. We took our camper trailer, beware you do have to back in from the road with trailers, but it was worth it. We were able to watch harbor seals catching fish at high tide, and the birding is amazing with forest and ocean birds in the same view. The outdoor shower was great, and the sink was nice to wash dishes in. For our camper we had electricity and water. This is a really cool spot with great views and animal activity. I highly recommend if you like privacy and the great outdoors!

This was the perfect campsite. Very private. Really nice octagonal picnic table and complete setting with comfortable Adirondack chairs at the fire pit. A very short walk to a gorgeous water view. Sunset was spectacular. Lily was very responsive and helpful.

An amazing place to camp to say the least. Stayed nearly 2 weeks. Serene, tranquil, woods, beach, silence, waves, private, beautiful, moonlit, alluring, sunsets, bay, seals, kayaks, unique, majestic and soulful. Would give this place 10 stars if I could. One of my favorite hip camps of all time, amazing host and soul in Lily! Will return.

Rating: ★★★★★ (10/10) Eagle View Coastal Campground offers an incredible experience filled with privacy and natural beauty. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the seclusion was so profound that it created a wonderfully eerie atmosphere at night! One of the highlights of our trip was the outdoor shower—it was simply spectacular, providing an unforgettable open-air bathing experience with breathtaking views of the night sky. Speaking of views, the scenery from the property was nothing short of stunning, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. We chose this campsite as our base while visiting Acadia National Park, and while it was about a 40-minute drive from the visitor center, the journey was absolutely worth it. Just a heads up for future visitors: the electric hookup is quite a distance from the campsite. Make sure to bring a long extension cord; we ended up connecting two to reach our camper. It would be a nice enhancement if a long extension cord was provided on site for convenience. Overall, I highly recommend Eagle View Coastal Campground. The privacy, views, and outdoor amenities make it a top-notch destination for camping enthusiasts. We loved every moment of our time there!

We loved this place so much we booked 5 days originally only to extend and stay 14. Most definitely one of my favorite campsites ever. Woods, beach, calm, quiet, serenity, sunsets! private, harbors, trails, kayaks, Acadia! Really loved this place and the beauty it offers..other guests indicated they had returned 3 and 4 times already. Cannot say enough about Lily, just an amazing host and person who went way out of her way to navigate a few challenges (imposed by ourselves) during our stay. Quick to respond to all of it and had solutions all along the way. Would vote best host of any stay and cannot wait to return to this amazing property. An amazing variance of sunsets and the bay was completely still and other times crashing waves at the private beach. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Thanks Lily!

A truly beautiful and totally private spot that we highly recommend. More than we are used to spending for a campsite but with your own beach with a 2nd firepit on it is pretty priceless. Do be cautious with dogs off leash as there is a young porcupine roaming the site currently. Fortunately, only three quills in the lips that we were able to pull ourselves and then kept a closer eye! Lily totally left us to ourselves but was quick to reply when needed.

We Loved this spot. So relaxing watching tides and daylight changing. Easy local hikes, bracing dips at high tide (mid September) and privacy as advertised. Generous of the hosts to share such a space. The other spots here look great too, but the point was just what we were looking for. Great offers of camping perks from the host as well. Highly recommend, again- Loved it!

This place is beautiful. I loved camping in the yard in from of the old cottage. The space is incredibly private and quiet. The fire ring down by the water is the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again.

This was such a an incredible Hip Camp experience for us! It was so quiet and peaceful in the forest canopy, but just a 150 yd walk to the bay. Lily was an awesome host! She gave us great tips on things to do and was super responsive whenever we reached out. The place was truly magical!
