Our lodging features treehouses, yurts, a bunkhouse, retro camper, water/electric hook-ups, and campsites. We also host weddings, retreats, and other events so advance reservations are required. For insurance purposes and the safety of our own livestock and pets, we do not allow guests to bring their pets/ESAs onto the property. Prepare to UNPLUG as we do not have cell service or wifi (there IS a landline for guests to make phone calls located in the Community Farmhouse). All guests from tent to treehouse have access to our solar-powered Community Farmhouse featuring a fully-stocked chef-inspired kitchen, restrooms, coin-op laundry, and upstairs multi-purpose room with a library and board games. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with additional cooking space including a grill, microwave, and sink (sink is closed in the winter so the pipes don’t freeze). Our seasonal bath house is generally open from April or May to October or November based on the prevailing temps. There are 4 flush toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 hot showers. The floors are concrete so we recommend shower shoes and you'll want to bring your own towels and shampoo/soap. The farm has a small playground, yard games, creeks, and a steep and rugged hiking trail that loops the mountain. We're also just 8 miles from the hiking trails at the Berea College Pinnacles, 8 miles to Owsley Fork Reservoir, 20 minutes to Anglin Falls, 12 miles to Berea, 35 minutes to Richmond, Ky, and a scenic hour to Red River Gorge. For other activities, restaurants, shopping, music, and more, we're happy to share our favorites, but highly recommend checking out the Berea Tourism website.

This area is an old tobacco and cattle farm on a point above Laurel Lake. We do a bit of farming and crafting when we can and thought we’d try and share our lovely spot! Much of the timber on the place is nearly 100 years old hardwoods, with a couple of fields throughout. I camp here myself too, and can recommend it for privacy! We're a family that loves to camp; and while we love a stop at a KOA or community campground, we sometimes crave quiet time in nature without the noise and distraction of other campers. That's what makes The LAAAAND so special. The property is comprised of 50 pristine acres, with a mix of fields and woods, that bump up against another 250 acres owned by our family friends. The southern perimeter of the property is all cliff line, so you feel truly remote. Savvy's Retreat was a fantastic campsite! It's well thought-out by campers for campers. The half bath was super handy when cooking outside and would be great if you had people visiting. There were plenty of outlets and lights in the shelter. Both the shelter and trees provided plenty of summer shade. The dog run was great to have, and they even had 3 tie-outs available! We travel with 3 larger dogs that like to bark at people, so crowded campgrounds are stressful for all of us. This setup allowed us all to relax outside together. Christian and Christy were on top of communication. This was truly a pleasant and well-thought-out space

We loved the set up! Had water, electric, sewer and bathroom. Plus many extras, large fire pit and swing, card and board games plus in a very quiet rural area. It was close to Berea, Kentucky to hike The Pinnacles, Indian Fort Trail to Eagles Nest and Buzzard Landing with breath taking views when you get to the top. Grab a pizza at Apollo Pizza in Berea. Very tasty. Flat Lick Falls near McKee was constantly flowing. Pretty water hole that’s clear with some swimmers. Easy site to pull out and leave. The owners are attentive with any questions and maintain their cool with care. We will definitely be back

I loved camping at Lola’s! We got to watch deer and turkey and there were thousands of lightening bugs at night! The street is generally very light traffic so we enjoyed very sound sleep. We got in very late due to a blowout and she offered all sorts of help to us that went above and beyond for a host. We would recommend to anyone traveling through the area!

Overall, we had a great stay at Cedar Springs at Serenity Camp. The surrounding farmland was beautiful and made for a really scenic setting. I was a bit surprised by how close the site was to the highway, so it wasn’t quite as peaceful and private as I personally prefer. We had a few minor setup issues, but the owner was helpful, came out to assist us, and got everything worked out. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Rustling Pines Horse Camp

This place is clean and cared for. The horse riders that stayed there was as friendly as they come. Let me tell you, the owner cares about his customers as I watched him take care of 4 older ladies beside us with fire wood. In today’s time and age customer service is hard to find so if you need to find it go to Rustling Pines you will definitely find customer service. Rustling Pines- thanks for the great night you guys are awesome.

Weekend Trip to Savvy Retreat

Beautiful property! My husband and I brought our two dogs for a peaceful weekend in our travel trailer. The location had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed several hiking trails in the area, grilled delicious meals under the large shelter, and relaxed by the fire with a perfect view of the stars. This location exceeded our expectations and the onsite bathroom was a bonus! We highly recommend this spot and will be back next fall!
