Cabin in the woods with bathhouse less than 100 steps away. 3 queen beds. 2 sets of bunk beds. Comfy but rustic. The cabin has a private fire pit and picnic table. There is another cabin about 50 yards away. The land has a creek on one side, lovely trails and a pond. Farm has chickens, horses , and a potbelly pig as well as friendly dogs to play with.

Haymark Farm is a 285-acre farm in Ewing, KY, where alfalfa hay is produced. The farm has picturesque ridges and hills at one of the highest elevations in the area, allowing spectacular sunrise and sunset views. Three different branches of Buchanan creek begin on the farm and run together on the back of the property. There are also two small ponds and several barns (including one for your horses) on the property. Mawhe Acres Camping Retreat has two primitive camp sites just inside the tree line of an open field, each with a 16' x 16' crushed limestone pad for tents. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring and access to a compost toilet (in outhouse). There is no potable water or electric. However, for a nominal fee, we can provide a water hose to the campsite. There's easy access with the ability to drive through the field to the campsite or guests can walk in with their gear from driveway. We're fine with car camping too - we just want to keep things as natural as possible. Mawhe Acres - a 25 acre farm, much of which is raw land and woods in their natural state, undeveloped and not farmed for decades - is an official National Wildlife Federation® (NWF) Certified Wildlife Habitat™ site. NWF recognizes our commitment to sustainably providing the essentials of wildlife habitat - natural sources of food, water, cover and places to raise young. The abundant wildlife around includes deer, squirrels, red foxes, turkeys, chipmunks, groundhogs, raccoons, opossums, woodpeckers, owls, and birds of prey (mostly red-tailed hawks and vultures). We have a small lake with good fishing and acres of woods to explore. There are some footpaths for easier walking. We want to share our beautiful land for our guests to enjoy taking in the sights and sounds of the forest which can help you relax. In fact, it’s possible that time in the great outdoors can boost both your mental and physical health. 7 nights at Cedar Fire farm: Kamp kessa

We used this spot as a home base for our yearly hunting trip. It was perfect for what we needed. Everyone on the farm was friendly and welcoming! You’ll get to know the horses and cats as they wander around the farm and sometimes come up to you to say hello. The cabin was a great common area and place to wind down after a long day of being out in the woods.

Here is Clyde's Pride private RV camping site. The utility pole has electricity hookup, with water beside it. Not shown: trash can, fire pit, and wood.

This is a fabulous place! We enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to enjoy it. Took advantage of the pond and caught a few varieties of fish. A bounty of nature all around- beautiful views of sunsets, farm animals, butterflies, fireflies and countryside. Site was secluded and private, pet friendly and our dog loved running around. He found some manure to roll around in 🤦‍♀️ so the full hook ups to hose him down came in handy. We took advantage of the fire pit/wood that was provided to enjoy a fire under the covered RV pavilion. Our 33ft trailer fit great and there was still plenty of space for seating area, grilling, etc. Hosts greeted us on arrival and we're welcoming and friendly. They communicated an issue with plumbing that was getting looked at and might require water shut off for short time, and let us know ahead of time to prepare if needed. If we are ever in this area again, we'd love to enjoy this place again.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful sunsets. Rolling green fields. You will probably be visited by some cattle as they wander and graze, along with an adorable herd of little goats. The drive way is long, winding and hilly but worth it to get back at the edge of the open fields. The hosts were very sweet and accommodating. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Weekend Trip to River Refuge Retreat

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay! We were hit by an unexpected snowstorm and were snowed in. They were very nice and accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed for the sake of our safety to stay off the nasty roads! They even put together a very special request my fiancé had to surprise me upon arrival🥰 We will most definitely be back in the warmer months and highly recommend this wonderful cabin!!
