We live on a 15 acre farm. We have a barn, and a fenced in yard for the dogs. Much of the acreage is fenced off for cows. We have a small vegetable garden in the spring and summer and a large flower garden space in progress. There's a small pond on the property. In additions to cows, we also have chickens, barn cats, and dogs. We have a second driveway and half-circle drive for parking a camper or car, as well as flat spaces to pitch a tent.
There is fishing nearby at the Amarugia Highlands Conservation Area and the city park.

Livestock encounters are also available with owners in attendance. All proceeds are put back in the farm to care for the animals and the land. Parking area is at the end of the driveway and a cart is provided to take your gear across the bridge. We love kids and will provide lawn darts or any other games we have available if requested. We are on 7 beautiful acres in Baldwin City, KS. The lodge was built then the camping sites, then the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse was established, it's just past the barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals and more. Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. Ask about availability of the art golf cart rental if interested. Loni can take you on a guided history, nature and meditation hike if you sign up for that. There are events happening some weekends you can participate in. We have a Call to Prayer 9:30am every day in the Art Studio/Spirit Shack, you may join us! Loni is a spiritual intuitive and can do a reading using the Milo Farm Oracle cards she created! Ask for availability of these things. Milo has a lot to offer!

Located 15 minutes east of Louisburg off of 69 highway, and 15 minutes west of Harrisonville off of 49 highway. The local sourdough bakery offers fresh goods on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. A local brewery is a 15-minute drive away, and Bourgmont Winery is situated 30 minutes northwest.
If the garden is producing, visitors can help themselves to tomatoes. Yard games and the basketball hoop are available, with equipment to be put away afterward. The fire pit is also available for cooking and s'mores.
Visitors are welcome to inquire about regenerative soil practices on the land. As we grow the garden and amend the soil, we hope to see repeat visitors in the years to come.
While paths are mowed, they may not be maintained weekly like lawns, so some natural length should be expected. Bringing bug deterrent is recommended for comfort.
Pets that are responsibly kept are welcome. Consideration of neighbors, the land and livestock is requested during your stay.
Cash may be useful for additional goods and services onsite. (I.e. Freshly milled organic wheat bread, homemade kombucha and lacto-fermented sauerkraut)
The tent and RV sites are drive-up accessible.
For Civil War enthusiasts, the local site in Freeman is associated with Colonel Freeman and the Freeman's Regiment, Missouri Cavalry, organized in January 1864 and active in Missouri until disbanding in spring 1865.

We are on 7 beautiful acres in Baldwin City, KS. We're in town, but you'll feel like you're secluded in the country so you get the convenience of being close to downtown Baldwin, just 3 minutes away, while also feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere peacefully camping, just you and the birds. Our "glamper" is a 1960's retro camper that has been fully restored. The outside still looks very retro, but when you step inside you'll instantly surrender to the relaxation that awaits. Sink into the pile of fluffy pillows, take in the breathtaking boho vibe and the many amenities including A/C and Heat, wifi, a microwave, television with Netflix, refrigerator, waterless toilet and hand-washing sink. Games and snacks are tucked away in the kitchen area for you to enjoy your leisurely time at The Nest! With a large deck on the front you can take in the views of a nearby pond and a meandering creek which serves as a wildlife highway. Don't be surprised when a deer walks within view or a blue heron flies overhead. The deck is adorned with overhead lights that stretch to a nearby firepit and outdoor sitting area. On the other side of the camper you can snooze your worries away in the hammock, perfect for napping or reading a favorite book. The pond, just feet away from the camper is full of fish including crappie, catfish and bass and fishing poles are available for your use. Near the pond you'll find a small shelter house for up close views of the pond. The family of geese and ducks you'll see walking around are permanent residents of Duck's Landing, hence the name. Adjacent to the property there's a 9 hole golf course. Additionally Baldwin has several restaurants and shops to spend a leisurely day exploring our beautiful, historic town.

Weekend Trip to Milo Farm Sacred Land
The Hobbit Hut is a quaint and charming little cabin decorated with mushrooms and gnomes. It has what you need for a quite away from everything trip. The people that are around are friendly along with the animals. The trails in the forest allow you to come back to nature and just relax. It was truly a great trip to disconnect and recharge.

Such a fun weekend campground for our family. The kids loved the farm animals, there were baby goats that the kids were in love with and gave them lots of snuggles. We rented fishing poles and a kayak and paddle boards, and paid 15$ for all the firewood we could burn. The owner and staff were helpful, even bright the firewood and got the fire going for us.
The only downside is that they are right next to a train track, so be prepared for some train horns.

The DM tent site was great! It felt very private but was still near all the action. My kids loved being near the animal pen. We really enjoyed all the trails and the social interactions with other campers and those attending the events. There is a strong sense of community at Milo Farm.

Great views and lots to see. We really loved waking up and having the grazing horses greet us right outside our door. My dogs both loved exploring the lake. The lighting of the grill house and adjoining lakefront lounge area make this a fun spot to explore during the day or for night walks. I definitely will be booking again.

Good value, I just wish that the air conditioner had worked for the entire stay, that the out door Christmas lights were working and there were no mouse droppings on the beds, but all of that is expected since we are basically on a farm. Take care of your trash/leftover food because the donkeys will scatter it if you don’t take it to the recycling/trash sorting place! The land was great and we enjoyed the time together. Would recommend for people who have kids and don’t want to put up a tent.

Quiet Open Space was exactly what we needed on our way down to Arkansas! Finding a quiet spot on Melissa’s property was a piece of cake, even in the dark. Her directions were very clear and communication efficient. The bathroom is adorable but not as adorable as her cat Lucy who welcomed us with loud purrs! The chickens were pleasantly talkative in the morning too! Quiet Open Space was a great spot for a good night of sleep!
